"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"The salsa at this restaurant is amazing, and the service and environment are great. However, the chefs need improvement as all the dishes taste very similar and are overcooked. The seared burn marks on the meats and similar seasoning make all the dishes blend together. This was my second time experiencing this issue and I may not return if invited again. Despite this, the vibe is fun and enjoyable, so I would recommend going for drinks instead. Overall, the restaurant could benefit from having better chefs."

"The biggest letdown, and a major faux pas for a sushi restaurant, was the use of wasabi packets. I expect that when I buy sushi from a grocery store, not from a restaurant that prides itself on fresh offerings. The wasabi in those packets is often overly salty and completely overwhelms the delicate flavors of the sushi. When I'm paying over $60 for sushi, I want real wasabi, not a cheap shortcut. Additionally, the dragon roll I ordered was excessively sweet to the point that I couldn't finish it, which was particularly disappointing since it was the most expensive roll I picked. Overall, I doubt I’ll be ordering from them again. Instead, I'll cherish the good memories from when I first tried their food and look for better options elsewhere."

"As a frequent customer, I ordered my usual Shrimp fried rice without egg, but it was mistakenly delivered with egg. I returned the next day with the receipt to have it replaced with the correct order, but the staff was rude and refused to accommodate my request. Despite my disappointment, I left the incorrect order with them and have decided not to order from this restaurant again. Having worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, I would never treat a customer in such a manner."

"Amber is really close to where I live so it's been on my list of places to try for a bit now! You can definitely tell this is a local favorite spot, since I see lots of takeout orders coming from here every time I walk past it, and when I went for the first time the other day-there were lots of people dining in for lunch! They have great deals at lunch, with lots of different specials for everyone! I got to sushi rolls, with miso soup and a salad for only $13! I got the crunchy spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll and thought both were delicious and fresh testing! Will definitely be coming back here soon to try some more lunch specials!"

"We have enjoyed Amber on numerous occasions. It's an ideal spot for a quick dinner prior to taking in a movie nearby at the 68th St and Broadway. Last Friday, new Years eve, we came by at 6PM, ordered our appetizers which came in minutes. We then ordered our entrees and waitred. After 15 minutes, we told the sever we were trying to make a movie. Fifteen minutes later, still no service. We told them to pack up the dinner to go, paid the check and left. This was the first time the service was poor. Hopefully, it won't happen again."

"We like the food at Moca bistro. The fusion Asian menu is diverse and flavorful. The server's proficiency in English is basic. They give a sense of pressure to order and get impatient with every delay, question, or change. The atmosphere is mostly quiet. This location is EXPENSIVE. The cost to value is NOT there. This a small-town location with a big city price complex. This is the main reason we avoid going there often."

"Beautiful design and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Chef was fun and made everyone laugh. Hibachi grill had some inconsistencies and food was ok. Some chicken was over cooked and no sauce where some was perfect. A little heavy handed on some seasoning which I actually prefer versus no seasoning. The bao buns were a bit doughy in places. For sushi we got a Godzilla roll which was very good. Server did not come back for more drinks. Blinds on windows behind us were extremely dusty and dirty."

"I strongly advise against visiting Minado Japanese Restaurant in East Norriton. I have never experienced such rudeness from a restaurant manager regarding food and gratuity. I used to recommend this place to many people over the years, but the quality of the food has significantly declined. I was fighting the feeling of being sick after eating crab and beef that were not fully cooked, and the raw oysters I tried had a questionable smell. At one point, the owner personally came out to apologize for the undercooked crab, so it’s clear they were aware of the issue. There are far too many risks for potential food poisoning here. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager made things worse, speaking in a condescending tone and not allowing us to voice our concerns, all while wishing us a Happy New Year."

"What an awful experience we went to eat tonight our server was rude, dismissive and extremely cavalier about how upset we were about our experience. We voiced how disappointing it was and didn’t even get an apology! We must’ve been seated in the time out table because literally no one payed attention to us at all. The only reason they got 2 stars for the food was because my entree (spider roll) was good. My sister had said let’s leave once we saw we were so unimportant to come take orders, to even put the settings on the table!! I had to get up to get my sister chop sticks and a napkin. We’ll never return so sad once upon a time this place was relatively good."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. In my opinion, they serve some of the best salmon sushi in the area. My favorite menu items include the salmon lover, sautéed edamame, spicy tuna avocado salad, and the Thai basil with steak.
