"We have enjoyed Amber on numerous occasions. It's an ideal spot for a quick dinner prior to taking in a movie nearby at the 68th St and Broadway. Last Friday, new Years eve, we came by at 6PM, ordered our appetizers which came in minutes. We then ordered our entrees and waitred. After 15 minutes, we told the sever we were trying to make a movie. Fifteen minutes later, still no service. We told them to pack up the dinner to go, paid the check and left. This was the first time the service was poor. Hopefully, it won't happen again."

CAESAR SALAD was weak. They gave very little dressing. However, the CRISPY ZUCCHINI was decent

Very good sushi, beautiful six portions in a comfortable environment. Good value too. Nothing to complain.

The portions of Rigatoni Carbone are disappointingly small. It is frustrating because the dish is extremely delicious. The price is too high for the amount of food you receive.

Amber West was the perfect choice for my going away party Saturday night. I'm glad I made the reservation for 8 before the time. The food was delicious. My friends and I had a nice time. View menu

So much sauce on the outside and none really on the inside. Noodles were all dry and stuck together and breaking apart when i was trying to pick it up with fork. The sauce was good though.

When making a reservation, request to be seated in the back room. The sushi was solid but not spectacular. The waitstaff seemed annoyed to answer questions so weren't as helpful as they could be. :

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. While there are no major surprises, everything is well prepared. The standout dish is the PENNE SCAMPI, which has a perfect balance of spice, fresh parsley, and a rich, creamy sauce. It is simply delightful. View menu

For $17 you will get a wonderful Entrée, miso soup, salad, rice and mini rolls AND two free drinks wine or Bellinis. The price of two drinks alone is worth $17. Excellent food (Thai Japanese, Vietnam Art Menu) and great views through the font windows of Columbus Avenue.

The scampi at this restaurant was amazing! It was incredibly delicious and creamy. The shrimp was a generous size and portion, and the noodles tasted fresh and homemade. It was clear that the pasta was made by someone who knows how pasta should taste. I chose to have it with spicy vodka sauce, which was also fantastic. It's not necessary, but it adds a delicious kick to the dish.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
