"Tried this for the first time today. After a long night and craving some tasty Indian food, we found out our usual place was closed. This is much closer and I am so glad we tried it! Here 's what we ordered: Chicken Curry $18.95 Medium $0.00 This one was a little disappointing in terms of portion size it was a lot of sauce and not much chicken. However the dish itself tasted great! Garlic Naan GN x 2 $8.00 Naan is fresh, garlicky and a smidge chewy but not in a bad way. Less fluffy, more stretchy, if that makes sense Mix Vegetable Curry Vegan $17.95 Spicy $0.25 Tasty, good portion, nice variety of veggies Baingan Bhurta vegan $17.95 Medium $0.00 This is an eggplant dish, and I loved it! I was looking for something similar to this stuffed eggplant dish I get and this was similar, and very very good. Comes with yogurt sauce on this side. Good size portion. Chicken Dum Biryani $16.95 Spicy $0.25 HEFTY!! Great for the price. The chicken is bone on, but that so it adds flavor. The spice is right for sure! I would say this is like Indian fried rice . Lots of flavor lots of stuff really really good. I chose the spiciest version and it 's the perfect amount of heat if you like spicy. A little too hot for him, but I really enjoyed it. Saag Aloo curry ALU $17.95 Medium $0.00 By far my favorite. Yes it 's green, but if you like spinach and potatoes, you 're gonna love it. Good portion here as well. Aloo Kale Tikki 3 Pcs $6.95 I wasn 't the biggest fan of these. They are sweet in flavor. My boyfriend really liked them. They 're little potato and kale patties with a type of chutney esque sauce on top. You get three to an order, which is a little up there. We did a take out order, and picked it up. Inside was nice and smelled great. You can sit down or take out, there are servers if you want to dine in. The owner who gave us our order was extremely personable and helpful! I think we found another great Indian spot! The only downside is that it 's more expensive than our usual place. It is also odd that they charge more for spice level, but we did like it a lot. I know that this type of cuisine takes an eternity to make, and there are a lot of ingredients but it is certainly up there price wise."

"I just went here on Saturday, October 21st around 8pm, with my cousin and her girlfriend. All three of us love Indian, and they were visiting so I told them let's try here, as I had yet to of been here before myself. To say it was a smart decision, was an understatement. First off, the women that were working the floor that night were the sweetest and most helpful. Our host was great, our waitress was great, and the older lady working with them, she was such like a mom. Very soft spoken and kindhearted, she wore the prettiest headscarf. Now the food was phenomenal. We got two orders of garlic naan to go with our entrees. My company got the Chicken Jalfrazie and Chicken Madras, I tried both, and they both were delicious, but the Jalfrazie tasted better to me personally. I ordered something new for myself, mango chicken, and it might be my new favorite Indian dish. I always get medium spice level when I order Indian, and with the sweetness of the mango, it was balanced and seasoned so well. Definitely give Bollywood a try for Indian cuisine in Milwaukee, between the staff and the food, you will not be disappointed. P.S. the leftovers of course tasted amazing the next day as well :"

"I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I usually order from them and consider myself a loyal customer. Recently, I ordered six wings with fries, but when I received my order, the wings were burnt and very hard. I called to report this and requested a refund, but it took nearly an hour for them to return my money. In another order this week, I placed a larger order and found the crab soup to be spoiled. Unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer."

"What can I say about food that is served from the heart, no adjective can do justice, we were visiting Denver for fall break and found this little gem, we were so glad we found such authentic Indian fare in Denver that we visited this place every single day we were there. We had barota kurma which was a flavor bomb, we had it multiple times, we also tried the potato fry, okra kaara kuzhambu and a humongous family dosa and Navratan kurma.I cannot fault them in any way, so very flavorsome, the servings were so generous and served with passion. We met the owners/ chef, and we could tell that they take pride in every plate that goes out of their kitchen. The service was great too. If you live in Denver or if you are passing by, do visit this place, you will definitely go again and again. This is a gem that cannot be missed. We hope to come again sometime soon..."

"We celebrated my daughter's birthday during our second visit to Sapphire, which she chose as her preferred restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. They surprised her with a birthday dessert that she absolutely loved. My oldest daughter enjoyed the Thai Fried Rice with shrimp, while I had the Tandoori Mix Grill. The birthday girl relished her Shrimp Curry, and another guest enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala. The rice and garlic naan were delicious too. My takeout Panang Curry Chicken was excellent, featuring red curry, lime leaves, coconut milk, and peanuts, all served with crispy steamed broccoli."

"This was my very first experience at an Indian restaurant, and I was actually a bit surprised at how much I liked pretty much everything. I love that this is a buffet-style restaurant. I was able to get literally one of everything except for a few items that I already know I don't care for.If you've never had Indian food, don't be afraid to try the goat. I know it's not a typical American food, but it actually tasted surprisingly good! In fact, everything seemed to be seasoned in a slightly different way, but it was all really well- prepared. To me, this is the perfect way to try a new cuisine. You can take a little bit of everything you would like to try without having to commit to an entire plate of an unfamiliar food.The only negative aspect of the restaurant was the service. I could see that they weren't understaffed, but the employees seemed to be walking around without noticing tables. They were polite though, and when we got their attention to ask for a refill on something, they would get whatever we needed. We even had to ask for them to bring the credit card back after about 10 minutes along with the final bill so we could sign it.We definitely plan on going back, and to me the food is worth the visit even if the service is slightly less attentive than we are accustomed to."

"We had a horrible experience here on Valentines Day no less. We had reservations for Showed up and watched two couples who got there after us with no reservation seated before us. Finally seated min later it took another min later to get just water and another to get a waitress to order. We ordered from the kitchen and about min later the manager tells us to grab a small plate from buffet while we wait, best part of the night. Long story short, hour and a half later we ask about our food. Nobody knows but says again it's coming soon. Waitresses kept asking us what we needed and if we wanted to pay thinking we got buffet despite repeated tales of our long wait and no food yet. Wife couldn't even get her drink she ordered in an hour and a half. We walked out the door and didn't look back. Way to ruin a special night. A simple if you order from kitchen it'll be awhile would have sufficed when we sat down and we'd had done the buffet. But the sheer confusion and lack of any attentiveness was absolutely ridiculous. We will not be returning. Ever. Nor recommending this place to anyone. Head next door to Aladdin, you won't be disappointed"

"Two of us, who had never visited the Copper Pot before, dined there for lunch on a Monday. We arrived a bit late, so the restaurant was mostly empty. The service was excellent, and the owner was very attentive and helpful in answering our questions about different menu items. "Despite still being on Open-table as a currently open, available eat in restaurant, it was not! Upon arrival we were greeted by upturned chairs on all the tables, and an owner who greeted us COVID-19, protection free! (MASKLESS). My wife and I told him we had made a reservation on the open-table app, to which he responded, “not open for dine in, take out only, big fines”. We told him he should make note on open-table of his current position, and we left to find an establishment that was open for a sit down restaurant experience. If anyone would like to know the restaurant that was open, and we were able to walk right into with no reservation, it was Fat Rosies in Naperville . Thanks Fat Rosies, ur restaurant is awesome!"

"This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed by the friendly service. The samosas were absolutely delicious, and the Chicken Tikka Masala, Pineapple Lamb, Garlic Basil Naan, and Paswari Naan were all excellent selections. They also have a full bar, featuring Indian whiskey. The dining area is quite spacious, with around 25 tables, along with a banquet room. We were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary rice pudding for dessert. The prices are very reasonable, and we've definitely discovered a new favorite place to dine frequently."

"My husband and I have been to the Albert before for dinner and the food was great, brunch on the other hand not do much.. I was excited to order the chicken and waffles expecting chicken but I received 3 large versions of chicken nuggets. The waffles and hot honey and cappuccino were excellent but the chicken was awful. My husband ordered an egg bake which sounded much like shakshuka with nduja, but when the dish came out there was no sign or taste of nduja which was also disappointing. His good tasted great, but he didn't get what was expected or paid for either."

"Overall, I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The goat karahi was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. However, both the puri and meat samosa were quite greasy. "I've been in the USA for 7 years and have never experienced such a bad hospitality in one of the US rehabilitators. This is the worst restorer for hospitality. Here's what happened to me when I visited Pickles to brunch today (i.e. 2/1/2014). I went to this restorer on Saturday at 11:30. I was very hungry. I sat in a place. Server came and gave me the menu. He did not turn up to 10 minutes, so I called him and ordered “Uttapam” and tea, I told him that he served me tea after uttapam. Without warning me that uttapam takes 30 minutes to prepare that he went in and gave the order. I was in the impression that I got uttapam in 5 or 10 minutes. After 5 minutes he came and served me tea. I told him I can't do it until I finish uttapam. He took it in. I waited for uttapam for 15 mintues, and meanwhile I realized that the buffet started for lunch. Since I did not get my uttapam and I was very hungry, I told the server to cancel uttapam and I will take the buffet. He went in and came after a few minutes and told me that uttapam is on the grill. But I told him to cancel the Uttapam since I had lunch. He didn't say anything, and I went on with my lunch. After some time he bought Uttapam. I was shocked to see Uttapam in my place. He even waited for me before he put uttapam on my table. He laid uttapam and went. When I saw uttapam on my table, I was shocked. I called the server and asked him why he set it when I canceled it. Then he started telling me that as soon as any article is on the grill, we can't cancel it. When I asked him why you told me that when I asked him to quit. When I started my lunch, you ask me to take both. When I started with this server, the owner of the restorer Mr.Nageshware Rao heard our conversation and he began to arguring with me. He told me you ordered it and if it's on the grill, you have to take it, there's no other way. When I told him that your server did not inform me that I must accept the order when it is on the grill. He wasn't able to listen to me at all. When I told him I'm going to review it. He got angry and asked me if I threatened him. I said yes, I'm threatening because you didn't really tell me about the order. Then he lifted his pitch and told me, "I don't care about your damn review, go and do what you want." I was surprised and shocked to hear that. I mean in India there is a saying “Atiti Devo Bava” means “Guest is like God”. Here I see a person who is the owner of the restaurant and when I went there as a paying guest, he humiliated me with such a excitement, I never decided to go this place again in my whole life. Finally, I pay both for uttapam and for lunch buffet. I mean, we go to restaurants to have some rest, but here I see a restaurant that gives you more stress than peace."
