"I visited Applebee's for the first time in over 15 years, but this time it was for takeout instead of dining in, mainly because my girlfriend wanted it. I placed my order, and it was ready in just 20 minutes. The food was delicious, but I had some issues with my order. I specifically requested no onions on my burger, and it was loaded with them. Additionally, I ordered a shark bowl drink to go, but it didn't come with my order.
When I asked the waitress about the missing drink, she said she would check with the bartender, but I never heard back from her. After waiting 10 more minutes, I decided to go inside to retrieve it myself. I approached the bar, where most takeout orders are picked up, and had my receipt in hand. I watched the bartender chat with a customer for another five minutes before she finally asked if I had a to-go order. I couldn't believe it; I was clearly holding my receipt.
Eventually, I spotted the waitress who had delivered my order earlier. After another 15 minutes of waiting, the bartender finally prepared my drink. By the time I left, it was supposed to be a curbside pickup, but I ended up having to go inside for something they forgot. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, my food had gone from warm to cold. After this experience, I think it will be another 15 years before I return."
