"Update: we reordered the Bahn Mi and this time we were told the bread is made with egg. We ordered online and picked up in the store. We found the process very easy and their labels clear. Vegetable Pho: Broth had decent flavor. We had asked for Siracha on the side but they gave us Siracha Ketchup. There were a ton of veggies that came on the side along with the noodles. They also gave plenty of toppings. We found the pho to be a little too cool and would have preferred the temperature to be a bit hotter. We were very happy it came with an appropriate soup spoon. Yellow Curry: Really delicious curry with a bit of spice. The curry tasted similar to a Japanese curry. It was a tad oily. The vegetables and tofu were really good in it and the rice was cooked nicely. *staff advised the potatoes are deep fried briefly in a deep fryer that is also shared with animal products. Vegetable Fried Rice add tofu, no egg, no butter: We really enjoyed the vegetables fried rice. It's a dish that is generally readily available for vegans but it still shined at Lime Basil. They did a really good job with this dish, possibly our favorite dish here. Staff: The staff are always helpful when we ask if something is vegan and they actually try to find out, and advise how to make it vegan if they can accommodate us. This is super nice. Parking: Parking was a bit of a hassle. There is construction on the main road, it seems that there is an area in front of the restaurant that you might be able to park temporarily, but I'm not sure if that's legal. We drove around the block behind the restaurant and walked down a sidewalk in between two buildings. Parking was free. Curbside Pickup: Curbside pickup is available. You can park right in front of the restaurant which is next to several construction cones and a bus stop. Once you arrive, just call and they will bring your food out. COVID-19: There was no one eating in and staff were wearing masks."

"On October 12th, 2022, I was deciding to eat at Chipotle or Samari Sam's next door. I noticed there was nobody in SS and Chipotle had a long line so I decided to eat at Samari Sam's so I can get home faster (BIG mistake). I've learned my lesson. When there is nobody in a establishment, RUN!! At 605pm, Store#5017 on 30th Ave/Peoria I ordered 3 large dark meat chickenteriyaki bowls to go and 1 egg roll: $29.50+$2tip: $31.50 The pictures advertised outside and inside had fresh colorful veggies& chicken looked delicious. After placing my order I noticed the cook didn't grill anything and everything was pre-prepped inheat containers. I asked the cashier how fresh everything is and she told me it was fresh but if I wanted real fresh come inwhen they open, Again, another red flag I've should of caught but my hunger altered mind affected my decision making at thetime. I get home and give my son, daughter and myself the bowls. We each took several bites and we immediately were not happywith our meal and tossed it in the trash. 1. Chicken was old, not fresh 2. Veggies were very soggy and mushy (after 5 minutedrive). I blame myself as well for 3 reasons: The red flags: 1.Samari Sam's was empty I was the only one there, (No joke!)Chipotle had a long line! 2. Cashier told me they make there grilled meats when they open! 3. The Reviews! Check the reviews! Ididn't, my mistake! I was going to call and complain but after looking at the reviews I decided to post instead. Not Happy atall with this place serving this type of food and forgot to mention my egg roll was also soggy! Julio"

"I hate writing bad reviews but sometimes they help train or change things, here goes. The staff will rush the hell out of you to order even when there is no one in line or when it?s your first time there and you have no idea what they sell. Even afterinforming them of this they don?t really care, they rush you with a smile and they will speak to you like you?re a child andeven though the chicken was, well, fine. No idea what I ordered I just ordered the first thing I saw that was ?spicy? cuz I?mreally not that picky and was apparently in a rush? The fried rice was awful, I never write reviews and this was that bad. Theflavor was bland and the only flavor that was there was bell pepper and sugar, the texture was wet and soupy. If the staffwasn?t in such a rush to push me through the empty assembly line I prob wouldn?t have even written this and I would have knownwhat I ordered but it was all around bad. Won?t recommend, won?t be back, and will make it myself next time I?m craving bellpepper flavored rice and sweet chicken bits cuz it wasn?t spicy at all, just sugary. Btw I came in to order for 5 people, thankgoodness I only ordered for myself! After I ordered the chicken thing she asked for a reward card, as if I had been there beforelol and said swipe your card so I guess she knew I?d be disappointed if I ordered for the fam. I could have spoken up but It allhappened so fast and I still don?t know what they sell except rice and chicken lol"
