"On October 12th, 2022, I was deciding to eat at Chipotle or Samari Sam's next door. I noticed there was nobody in SS and Chipotle had a long line so I decided to eat at Samari Sam's so I can get home faster (BIG mistake). I've learned my lesson. When there is nobody in a establishment, RUN!! At 605pm, Store#5017 on 30th Ave/Peoria I ordered 3 large dark meat chickenteriyaki bowls to go and 1 egg roll: $29.50+$2tip: $31.50 The pictures advertised outside and inside had fresh colorful veggies& chicken looked delicious. After placing my order I noticed the cook didn't grill anything and everything was pre-prepped inheat containers. I asked the cashier how fresh everything is and she told me it was fresh but if I wanted real fresh come inwhen they open, Again, another red flag I've should of caught but my hunger altered mind affected my decision making at thetime. I get home and give my son, daughter and myself the bowls. We each took several bites and we immediately were not happywith our meal and tossed it in the trash. 1. Chicken was old, not fresh 2. Veggies were very soggy and mushy (after 5 minutedrive). I blame myself as well for 3 reasons: The red flags: 1.Samari Sam's was empty I was the only one there, (No joke!)Chipotle had a long line! 2. Cashier told me they make there grilled meats when they open! 3. The Reviews! Check the reviews! Ididn't, my mistake! I was going to call and complain but after looking at the reviews I decided to post instead. Not Happy atall with this place serving this type of food and forgot to mention my egg roll was also soggy! Julio"

Fantastic fast food choice for fresh Japanese bowls! I placed my order online and picked it up just 10 minutes later. I tried the Shisito Bowl and the Avocado Citrus Bowl, and both were delicious!

I highly recommend this restaurant for its amazing, fresh, and tasty healthy food. My favorite dish is the sumo bowl with veggies only and sauce on the side. It is perfect for those following a keto or carnivore diet.

Brainless cashiers who don?t listen and argue with you instead. I ordered a large size and got small. I told the cashier I ordered large and she tried to tell me what I ordered then tried to recharge me for another whole size. ?????? Just make itright the first time. View menu

Absolutely horrible! Shashito peppers not cooked at all, shrimp very very over cooked! And only 6 of them on an $12 order. Chicken was beyond dry. Will not be coming back. DO NOT GET THE SHRIMP! Iced tea was nasty like containers haven't been cleanedproperly. Complete waste of $33!

I walked in earlier this afternoon to place a take-out order and after standing in line for a few minutes and nearly being eaten alive by flies, I walked out. I?m still contemplating whether or not to contact the health department. If there are that manyflies in the dining room, I can only imagine what the kitchen area is like. Absolutely grotesque. The Spicy Steak Broccoli Bowl is absolutely fantastic! The regular size is just right and quite satisfying. The balance of steak, broccoli, rice, and sauce is excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly! If you’re in a hurry during lunch, I recommend ordering online or calling ahead. They also have a program where you can get $5 off after purchasing a certain number of bowls. Plus, they no longer offer Eegee's frozen drinks since moving to Phoenix, which I find to be a positive change.

This restaurant consistently completes my order quickly, whether I place it online or in person. Today, I ordered in person, and the entire process—from taking my order to preparing my food and handing it to me—took about 10-15 minutes. Everything was accurate and delicious! I ordered three teriyaki chicken bowls: one with extra dark chicken, one with extra dark chicken and only broccoli, and the last with dark chicken and no veggies. Each bowl was correct and came with extra sauce, which I appreciated since I wasn't charged for it, even though there's a sign indicating that sauces cost extra. The service was friendly and efficient, even though the cashier seemed to be in training. I definit...

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
