"as good as jimmy johns can be but the men in the back really aren’t great, they can be heard with wildly inappropriate remarks about customers, being rowdy, even tossing some food at each other! I was FLABBERGASTED when i came into the store, I only got one sandwich and while it was fast and well made, the amount of things i heard and saw from only about 20 mins in the store. I don’t know what you need to do and what trainings need to happen but they need to happen NOW and FAST or someone needs to be fired. Absolutely disgusting."

"The restaurant is very clean with friendly staff. The parking lot is conveniently located off the highway with plenty of available spots. While the restaurant shares parking with other businesses, wheelchair accessibility seems to be good. The service is fast and efficient for take-out orders. This is a great spot for a lunch meal, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person."

"I purchased several gift cards and decided to try a sub. I chose the Italian, and it was truly delicious. The bread was soft and tender, while the meats and cheese were expertly layered. They happily customized my order by leaving out the onions and using less dressing. Every ingredient was fresh and top quality. It had been a while since my last Jimmy John's sandwich, but this one reminded me why I love their subs so much. The staff was friendly and quick, and I definitely intend to visit again soon!"

"I picked up a to-go order today and noticed a common issue with all three sandwiches: the lettuce was clearly spoiled and rotten. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they dismissed my concerns, claiming it was "just at the bottom of the container." This raises serious concerns about either poor temperature control or genuinely rotten food, as it had a terrible smell. They even tried to justify serving it. Honestly, would you eat something like this? Would you serve it to a three-year-old? The staff seemed to think it was perfectly acceptable and didn't offer any apologies. They did offer to make me new sandwiches, which I accepted, but unfortunately, they only replaced the lettuce with the same spoiled batch, insisting it was fine. Given the situation, I requested a refund. If you don't have fresh lettuce, that's understandable—just don't serve the old stuff. It's far better to refrain from serving spoiled food than to pass it off as normal."

My order last night had a bunch of missing ingredients and they put mayonnaise on it when I asked not to put it on it and they put tomatoes as well. When asked not to and this happens every time I use DoorDash to order from them. "

"I placed an order on the app from this location. One sandwich, 45 minutes later I still didn’t have my food. I called the location they told me to wait another 10 minutes! I said ok np! 15 minutes after that, I look outside to make sure the driver is not outside before I call again, my cold cut sandwich was left outside my door in a 90 degree weather. I didn’t know how long it had sat outside so I called the store and told them what had happen, they said they will refund me, few minutes later, she calls me back and says the driver will come and pick up the sandwich, I said np I was throwing it away anyway. He comes back, I ask him if he was the one to deliver it, he said yes, so I asked him why would u leave a cold cut sandwich outside in this weather. He said that he rang the door bell, I was sitting on my couch waiting for him to come, he didn’t ring the door bell. And added that he is not required to call me on my phone, so he left it outside. Worst experience with jimmy johns I have had. Worst location! Jimmy johns always calls if the door bell is not answered for whatever reason. And this driver had the guts to lie to my face and say he delivered it 15 minutes after I ordered it! Never again from this location. Mistakes happen and I understand, but the way a business handles it when these mistakes happen is everything. Lying to my face and saying he brought it 15 minutes after I ordered it is not ok. When it was almost an hour later and everything is clear on the app."

"I was working one night at the restaurant and had to repeat the order to a customer three times. Each time he asked for the "Giant Jj Gargantuan," but I knew he actually wanted a BLT sandwich. I completed his order and informed him of the sandwich. Later, his friend called from outside our delivery zone to return the food. I explained that I had confirmed the order with her friend and followed the restaurant's policy. She demanded an apology, as she believed we should follow a different policy at another branch. I declined, explaining that I was working full-time and attending school."
"Jimmy John's is our favorite place, but it's unfortunate that they close at 5 PM. We usually plan our visits accordingly because my 6-year-old loves JJ's. The other day, we hurried to the restaurant to arrive before closing, hoping to grab some subs and head to the beach. I got there at 4:45 PM only to find two employees cleaning up and telling me they were closed. I pointed out that it wasn't 5 PM yet, but they explained that the delivery driver needed to leave early, so they were shutting down. It didn't seem fair; they could have stayed open for customers who were already there. I felt frustrated, especially having to tell my son that we could no longer get his favorite dinner. I mentioned their hours were inconvenient, and one of the employees suggested I could speak to someone higher up if I wanted them to stay open longer. I understand that many places are short-staffed, but I thought they could have managed to keep the door open for just 15 more minutes. Afterward, we went to Jersey Mike's, where the staff was friendly and welcoming. My son ended up enjoying his meal there after being upset about missing his Jimmy John’s. I guess we’ll be going to Jersey Mike's from now on."

"I don't normally write reviews but I love jimmy johns, and this location really dropped the ball. We had to ask to be helped while the cashier was slowly making a sandwich (they had three other people making sandwiches which makes me think that it was for the cashier). We both ordered giants but as we walked out we realized neither one were giants even tho we paid. We didn't want to go back and in and decided to deal with it. When we got home, I noticed that not only was my sandwich not a number 10 (which it said on the receipt) but that there was no toppings on it just meat and cheese. I hope someone from corporate reads this, but reading the reviews, that probably won't happen."
"Our experience was fantastic overall. My son and I were camping and craving a hearty sandwich, a cookie, and some chips—half for now and half for dinner later. While some of the service was a bit abrupt when we asked a few questions, most of the staff were very friendly, and the service was quick. The food was absolutely delicious for both lunch and our campfire dinner later! Unfortunately, all the drive-thru locations of Jimmy John's were closed on Sundays, so we had to park and wait in line. However, the wait was minimal, just a couple of minutes. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with great food and an excellent experience. I highly recommend it!"

"Contacted this location because when I ordered my sandwich I forgot to set a specific time to pick up my order later. So I spoke with a manager named Jared. I notified him to see if I could push my order back at a later time because I forgot to set a specific time to pick up my order. From the start he was already rude and basically tried to accuse me of trying to get a free sandwich because my order was already picked up. I tried to explain to him on the phone that my order wasn 't picked up and maybe someone accidentally picked up my order. He then proceeded to say that our pick-up process is 100% error-free.... That 's never possible because I worked in fast food for about 2 1/2 years and mistakes were made such as giving the wrong order. I 'm thinking this manager must be delusional. I was so irritated and angry because I had NEVER stepped foot in this establishment and was ACCUSED of lying and trying to get free food. Then Jared the manager proceeded to dismiss me and tell me I have to go and hangs up on me. I called again and told him that I would like a refund (I mentioned this in the first phone call because he was so rude and disrespectful). He did not wanna work with me and asked me if I wanted both a refund and a sandwich. I said no, just make me another sandwich (since someone else took my order) or refund me. Again he became rude, nasty, and disrespectful and told me to contact corporate because it was their problem. Out of anger, I did swear at him and hung up because he was so UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. Jimmy Johns on Kirby if this Jared is your manager. He needs to be retrained or fired. A manager doesn 't speak to his customers like the way he did to me. I 've worked in fast food and in NO WAY this would be acceptable. If you speak like this to customers, I wonder how you speak to your employees!! If you hate your job then quit! BUT I spoke to another manager named Brittany and she was so helpful, sweet, and understanding. Thank you Brittany for offering to remake my sandwich and being polite. The 5 stars is for Brittany"

"placed mobile pick-up order for 3 sandwiches and when we came back home, we found out that we received only 2 sandwiches. we called the load for a refund of the missing sandwiches and the manager said that they could either give us $7.99 store credit or refund the full $30 order we asked if they could deliver the missing sandwich as we are 1.3 miles away from the load and the manager fired and said if it was not originally a delivery that they cannot send without charging us a delivery fee. we then asked ourselves again after a refund of the missing sandwiches and the manager said that it was our fault that we did not check the bag before we left the load, and remembered that we had to check their work to get the right order. the manager told us that she packed the order herself and that she knows that there are 2 sandwiches in the bag I told her, but 3 were ordered. never apologise, never admitted that they were wrong, and hanged on us when we asked for their names. accepted the $7.99 as it was better than nothing, and waited for a call back from company."
"What a disappointing experience at this restaurant! The staff seems quite unmotivated, and the app used for online ordering is just as frustrating. Let me start with the app: unlike other food apps that provide photos and ingredient lists for their menu items, this one only offers a selection of quirky sandwich names (like "pepepe" and "unwich"), and you have to wait until after you choose a name to find out what's actually in it. On August 22, 2022, I arrived in person at 7:00 PM to place an order after trying to use the app. To my surprise, the doors were locked, and there was someone just staring at me from inside. I ended up spending my money at Chick-fil-A instead. Then, on August 24, 2022, a woman called me around 3:00 PM to let me know that JJ’s was not answering the phone, which meant she couldn't get the correct order delivered. The original order was meant to be a gluten-free meal, but a regular sandwich was delivered to Grandview, which was inedible for them. I was told that the manager, Hazel, had already left for the day, and it seems she keeps banker hours. Ironically, one of my favorite NASCAR drivers is Kevin Harvick, and this place definitely missed the mark!"

If you're looking for more meat, I recommend the Favorites; for a standard size, go with the Originals; and if you prefer something smaller, try the Littles. There are also plenty of customization options available, such as mustard, peppers, and pickles. I frequently order for pickup, and my sandwiches are always ready within 5 to 10 minutes. The convenient pickup option makes it easy to grab and go from their shelves."
"I really think you should stop putting so much ice in the drinks. When I order a large Dr Pepper, it gets filled to the top with ice, and by the time I receive it, it's watered down. I end up finishing it quickly because there's only about a quarter of the cup filled with soda; the rest is just ice. On a positive note, the sandwich was quite good!"

"We politely approached the counter to inquire about it. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter responded with a terrible attitude and made a disapproving face as if our question was an inconvenience. She even turned to a coworker and made a snide comment about our inquiry before dismissing it as a joke when the coworker responded. This type of interaction is completely uncalled for when dealing with paying customers. We left without commenting further, hoping the pickle was somehow included in the bag. Upon opening our food at home, we found that the pickle was indeed missing. This review isn’t really about the missing pickle; it’s more about the unprofessionalism and poor attitude displayed by the staff. I wouldn’t want someone who behaves that way representing my business. We all have off days, but maintaining professionalism is part of the job. I hope my next experience here will be better, and I wish that employee a much improved day."
