"For our appetizer, we opted for the dip sampler. The corn dip was quite good; however, the guacamole was just average, and the Rojo salsa had a strange musty taste that neither of us enjoyed. Despite this, we took home the leftovers of the corn dip and guacamole, with plans to enhance the guacamole ourselves.
I ordered the sampler platter with chorizo and asada tacos. The asada taco was decent but nothing to rave about, while the chorizo taco leaned towards being overly sweet, which I personally can't stand. The rice was enjoyable, but neither of us liked the beans. The salsa verde also carried that peculiar musty flavor.
Ultimately, our experience wasn’t worth the $45 we spent, and I can’t picture returning. I should have trusted my instincts; it was around 6:30 PM on a Saturday night, and the vibe of the place was surprisingly quiet. Lesson learned."
