"We went here for lunch (around 12-1 on a Sunday Holiday weekend. Street parking is available nearby. Sundays were free, but for weekdays download the Passport parking app and get the zone and space number off of the meter for the easiest way to pay. Look for the red awning on Washington to find the restaurant easier (see uploaded pic for storefront. .This is a mom-and-pop style local restaurant with very limited seating and a casual atmosphere. There are about three tables plus sushi counter seating (see pic . Consequently, do not come with a big group or else order take out. The in-store menu was different from that posted online on our visit (see menu pics . They have a pretty traditional Japanese menu for sushi and bento box/platter style items. Bento boxes may only be available on weekdays, call to check with them.On our visit we got: (1 salmon, tuna, and yellow tail sashimi, (2 tamago and unagi sushi, (3 seaweed salad (see pic , (4 teriyaki chicken, and (5 shrimp yakisoba. The sashimi was outstanding and better than many expensive upscale restaurants in terms of quantity and quality of the pieces of sashimi that they served. The sushi and seaweed salad were of very good quality. The shrimp yakisoba was just ok. The teriyaki chicken had a small portion, the quality of chicken was good, but overall, this dish was not very good and we would recommend not getting it. Like happens many times, we were hungry and forgot to take pics of most of our food. The service was excellent in terms of how nice the people are who work here and how responsive they were. However, the lady who took our order did not write our order down and either did not hear or forgot put in our order for seaweed salad. Once we let them know about this, they were very apologetic and got it out to us right away. Overall, we would highly recommend this place for sashimi and sushi, but the platter, bento, and other items may be hit and miss. So, if you are in the area and want sushi/sashimi, then definitely give this place a try."

"I love positive reviews, I love to give positive reviews, and I try to focus on the good part of the experience. tavern at bown crossing made this job easy. the woman and I were looking for an evening dinner weekday before I left the city. she really wanted merry fruit, so we saw through every fish restaurant. most places were of course full Valentine's Day, but we found these taverns we had never heard of and they serve meeresfruit. oky doky. mmmmmaaan was a good dinner. we decided to share some appetizers and share a main course so we can try more. the calamari was asian inspired, friendly had a sweet and spicy sauce thing on the run, and it was served with paprika and wobble and garlic and scorpions. so good. the boobs were browned to perfection and I don't remember what they were cooked, but there were really good people. I had an ahi-poké salad that was from the city. the fish was super fresh, avocados were ripe and creamy, the shy was fresh and crispy and it had like a sesame vinaigrette on it from where. we also shared a lobster cappelini that was, oh my heart. the lobster was grilled, cappelli aldente, slightly sat with a cream sauce, some mushrooms, tomato, sianch and garlic. uuh! order it, stop reading my jibberish. Finally, I had a Bourbon mule that was delicious and generous, and the woman had a big Dane (like a gray dog she loves) and a mojito because she saw delicious. all very good, and given the quality of food and service, has been reasonably priced, if not a little underpriced. everyone said it was $108 for a very nice dinner with drinks and a desert. uuu the desert! 5 layers of choco cake to go? Yes, please, I'm not going to check this now, because I feel like a mature blueberry at the moment filled. in serious, but we were in some of the best rated restaurants in boise and tavern at bown crossing beaten them all safe. I hope they have to get too much for their room and open another one."
