"We were planning to eat at Ellen's Stardust Diner but saw the line wrapped around the building and decided we were too hungry to wait. Kinda glad that happened! We walked around a few minutes and found Green Apple. We went in and looked around as they were busy but there was no line. We chose a panini sandwich from behind the counter. The Mexicano. It took a little longer then expected to get it, but they were busy and I think the guy just go overwhelmed. That being said, he was very friendly and apologized for the wait. We also got fruit from the salad/fruit bar. Decent drink selection also. Prices were average and well worth it. Check out was efficient and the ladies who rang up our order were both very friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We went upstairs to eat and it was small but had plenty of seating. There were empty tables. Our food was delicious. The sandwich was a bit spicy for us, but that was on us. We read the description and saw that it would have some spice to it. The fruit was fresh and juicy. My only complaint would be the restroom. There was only one and there was a line for it. Apparently the employees have to use the same one because one employee was in there a while. I went in right after her and there was no toilet paper. Okay. But then I went to wash my hands and there was no soap! That concerned me a bit. I pray that they have a sink downstairs to wash their hands at. We would certainly go back again. It was a bit warm upstairs but they have seating out in Times Square too and we would like to sit there next time."

"**Food:** As a traditional deli, Mike's offers all the classic favorites, but what really sets it apart is its extensive menu—one of the largest I've seen in a deli. I can only imagine how challenging it must be for the kitchen staff to handle such a long list! Their main items include sandwiches and subs, as well as wraps, salads, soups, hot dogs, hamburgers, and breakfast sandwiches. With over 40 different meats and cheeses, at least six types of bread, and a wide range of toppings like tomatoes and onions, the choices are endless. They have about 20 varieties of subs, including many popular options. The hot dog selection features classic choices alongside an all-beef coney, and their burgers are hefty half-pound patties with plenty of customization. As a first-time visitor, I felt a bit overwhelmed but found it to be an exciting experience! I asked the staff at the counter for recommendations, and one of them, who I believe was named Mike, provided useful suggestions and detailed information about the specials. I opted for the roast beef marinated in port sandwich on wheat and chose the “plate” option, which came with a generous serving of ruffle chips and a pickle spear. I also got a fountain drink. My meal arrived in about 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I was particularly impressed with the quantity of roast beef and the freshness of the wheat bread. Looking back, I might skip the plate option next time since I'm not a fan of chips. The deli also has a counter stocked with meats and cheeses for bulk purchases, although I didn’t notice any price listings (they did have flyers for pre-order holiday hams and turkeys). They proudly offer Boar’s Head products, and their drink selection is extensive. I would rate the food at 4 stars. **Service:** The service was quite satisfactory—efficient and friendly, which is essential in a deli, especially during the lunchtime rush when customers want quick service. My visit saw a steady stream of customers, and everything seemed to operate smoothly. I would rate the service at 3 stars. **Value:** They have subs available in both half and full sizes, with half sizes priced between $5 and $6 and full sizes ranging from $9 to $11. Sandwich prices range from $4 to $6. If you choose the “plate” option, expect to add about a dollar. Single hot dogs start at $2.29, while a two-coney plate costs over $7. Burgers are priced between $4 and $5. While I’ve seen better and worse prices elsewhere, considering the quality of my meal, I find the prices reasonable. My total, including the plate and drink, was around $8.50 after tax, leading to a value rating of 3 stars. **Atmosphere:** Most of the space is dedicated to the kitchen and drink area, with about 10 tables available for dining. The decor features early 20th-century advertising signs, and everything appeared clean and organized (although I didn’t check the sanitation rating). I would give the atmosphere a rating of 3 stars. **Overall:** I am looking forward to returning to sample more from the menu! I'm giving this deli an overall rating of 4 stars for the excellent taste and quality of my meal, and I didn't encounter any major issues. Just keep in mind that it might not be the cheapest lunch option; good quality often comes at a price! **Food: 8/10; Service: 7/10; Value: 7/10; Atmosphere: 7/10**"
