"**Food:** As a traditional deli, Mike's offers all the classic favorites, but what really sets it apart is its extensive menu—one of the largest I've seen in a deli. I can only imagine how challenging it must be for the kitchen staff to handle such a long list! Their main items include sandwiches and subs, as well as wraps, salads, soups, hot dogs, hamburgers, and breakfast sandwiches. With over 40 different meats and cheeses, at least six types of bread, and a wide range of toppings like tomatoes and onions, the choices are endless. They have about 20 varieties of subs, including many popular options. The hot dog selection features classic choices alongside an all-beef coney, and their burgers are hefty half-pound patties with plenty of customization. As a first-time visitor, I felt a bit overwhelmed but found it to be an exciting experience! I asked the staff at the counter for recommendations, and one of them, who I believe was named Mike, provided useful suggestions and detailed information about the specials. I opted for the roast beef marinated in port sandwich on wheat and chose the “plate” option, which came with a generous serving of ruffle chips and a pickle spear. I also got a fountain drink. My meal arrived in about 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I was particularly impressed with the quantity of roast beef and the freshness of the wheat bread. Looking back, I might skip the plate option next time since I'm not a fan of chips. The deli also has a counter stocked with meats and cheeses for bulk purchases, although I didn’t notice any price listings (they did have flyers for pre-order holiday hams and turkeys). They proudly offer Boar’s Head products, and their drink selection is extensive. I would rate the food at 4 stars. **Service:** The service was quite satisfactory—efficient and friendly, which is essential in a deli, especially during the lunchtime rush when customers want quick service. My visit saw a steady stream of customers, and everything seemed to operate smoothly. I would rate the service at 3 stars. **Value:** They have subs available in both half and full sizes, with half sizes priced between $5 and $6 and full sizes ranging from $9 to $11. Sandwich prices range from $4 to $6. If you choose the “plate” option, expect to add about a dollar. Single hot dogs start at $2.29, while a two-coney plate costs over $7. Burgers are priced between $4 and $5. While I’ve seen better and worse prices elsewhere, considering the quality of my meal, I find the prices reasonable. My total, including the plate and drink, was around $8.50 after tax, leading to a value rating of 3 stars. **Atmosphere:** Most of the space is dedicated to the kitchen and drink area, with about 10 tables available for dining. The decor features early 20th-century advertising signs, and everything appeared clean and organized (although I didn’t check the sanitation rating). I would give the atmosphere a rating of 3 stars. **Overall:** I am looking forward to returning to sample more from the menu! I'm giving this deli an overall rating of 4 stars for the excellent taste and quality of my meal, and I didn't encounter any major issues. Just keep in mind that it might not be the cheapest lunch option; good quality often comes at a price! **Food: 8/10; Service: 7/10; Value: 7/10; Atmosphere: 7/10**"

This place is amazing! I'm thrilled they offer gluten-free options and are aware of allergies. They have the best gluten-free Kaiser roll I've ever had! Thank you!

A fantastic alternative to chain restaurants. They offer a vast variety of sandwiches. However, I noticed a service fee on my receipt after the fact. The prices are on the higher side.

A genuine gem in the community! No chain restaurant can match the chef's dedication to food and his incredible flavor combinations. Although the soups are merely average, the subs are truly outstanding. My bigger friends can’t get enough of how hearty and juicy the sandwiches are. Kudos to you, Mike, for upholding such high quality over the years! View menu

I’m not sure how this place remains in business. We ordered two simple sandwiches with chips and drinks, and it ended up costing us $25, along with a 25-minute wait for our order. This was during a quiet time with only one other customer there. I can’t remember ever being in a restaurant where the staff seemed so uninterested in doing their job. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place.

This is the best Italian sub/hoagie you can find. You won't come across a better one in the area, especially for the price. I also really love the turkey cranberry sandwich. Their menu is filled with amazing choices that are hard to find elsewhere, like Taylor ham on a hard roll, and they prepare everything perfectly. The family deal is a great value. If I were to celebrate a special occasion or even choose my last meal, I would go for the Italian sub and a brownie.

Mike's Deli offers amazing sandwiches. Each time we visit, we try something new, and today I had the sourdough bread—it was perfect. The sandwiches are huge; I typically eat half for lunch and save the other half for dinner. They are very generous with the meat, and the tomatoes have that wonderful home-grown flavor. We’ve used Grubhub for our last two orders, and everything went well; the delivery was prompt and very friendly. Mike's Deli really distinguishes itself from any other deli I've been to in the area. I highly recommend checking them out! View menu

Mikes is undoubtedly the best sub shop and deli in the city—it's that simple. This local gem is operated by one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. The service at Mikes is exceptional; you won't have to wait long, and your food is always prepared swiftly, even during busy times. The quality of the sandwiches is unparalleled, and the wide selection of meats, cheeses, vegetables, and breads is truly remarkable. Overall, this deli stands out as the finest in the city and has consistently proven that distinction. It's an essential stop for any sandwich enthusiast!

Today, I made a special trip to this sub shop, passing by four or five others along the way. I placed orders for four family members from three different counties, so we could enjoy a picnic together. Every bite was absolutely delicious! Our orders were ready right on schedule, and despite the line, the service was impressively quick. We all chose different subs, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have discovered this new spot. I particularly appreciated their attention to detail, confirming that I was authorized to pick up the food—it's nice to avoid the awkward situation of being told "someone already picked up your order," which seems to happen too often with competing shops these days. "The Park has become one of our favorite spots for breakfast. They offer a wide menu featuring classic southern-style breakfast options and lunch diner fare. Our go-to choice is the breakfast special which includes two eggs, sausage, bacon, choice of grits or hash browns, and either pancakes or a waffle for around $5. Unlike many other diners, the eggs here are not greasy. Our review is based solely on breakfast as we have not tried their lunch menu. The standout feature of The Park is the exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly, engaging in conversation and ensuring that coffee, tea, and water are always topped up. They regularly check in to ensure everything is to your liking and always wear a smile. It's a delight to dine here. Saturday mornings at The Park are something we eagerly anticipate. While the restaurant is often busy, it doesn't usually take long to be seated. We frequently bring our young daughter along, and the servers are always kind and attentive to her. They love when she draws them pictures and engage with her warmly. While the food may not be the absolute best we've ever had, and there aren't any standout unique dishes on the menu, the focus is on serving tasty and fresh diner fare that is always served piping hot. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, but it's the friendly service that truly sets The Park apart."
