"Just tried for the first time, I never knew about this place my only complaint would be maybe a little less crunchy on the kani salad but everything was delicious and fresh. "The service here was absolutely fantastic. Our waiter, Ajay M., truly deserves a raise—he's incredible and should definitely be earning at least $50 an hour. He is hands down the best waiter I've ever encountered, and I would return solely to experience his service again. We had a group of 10, and he was wonderful with both the kids and the adults. He was so kind and even offered to take our picture, going above and beyond to make our experience special. Thank you for making our evening memorable, Ajay!"

"We arrived at 1, knowing that they close at 2:30, figuring that was plenty of time for our lunch. We could not find the entrance, as we approached from the street rather than from the parking lot. Finally we entered from the patio, and came into a nearly empty restaurant. There were only two other people there at that time. We ordered and were served quickly. The food was good, but pricey. We had one large (Dragon) roll and a 3-item bento box, one hot tea and one iced tea, and the bill came to $39.70. At 1:40 the waitress brought the check to the table and said they were closing out, could we please pay! When I questioned the time, she said they wanted to close early. So we felt rushed."

"I have visited this restaurant before, but this was my first time using the Open Table reservation system to book a table. When I arrived and showed the server my reservation confirmation email, she seemed confused and did not know what it was. After explaining that I should earn points from using Open Table, she asked her co-workers who also were unsure about any point systems being offered. The manager was not present at the time. I had to email Open Table when I got home to inquire about receiving points, as the staff at the restaurant seemed unaware of the program."

"Food was delicious. The chef, handsome Ryan, is hilarious and entertaining. Server was polite and friendly and offered free edamame for the long wait. The sushi is so good here. The one we ordered (deep fried sushi) doesn 't come with cucumbers which is awesome since I 'm allergic. We used a Groupon and were so happy it didn 't come with an automatic 20% gratuity fee. The hibachi portions are great, especially that salmon, and have more vegetables. Rice is good too."

"We visited during happy hour (which runs from 5 to 7 most days, I believe) and we couldn’t have made a better choice. We sat at the bar, and two staff members greeted us right away, asking if we had been there before. When we said no, one of them took the time to explain the specials and shared some of her favorite dishes. She even suggested that the chef prepare a special appetizer for us, which was incredible—it turned out to be the yellowtail appetizer that we absolutely loved. Kari was our main server at the bar, and I can't praise her enough for the outstanding service we received. The sushi was delicious, the happy hour prices were fantastic, and Kari, along with the other servers, really made our experience special. This is an amazing spot to visit in Downtown Orlando!"

"Came into the restaurant with a large party without reservations and was accommodated quickly with excellent service. They were busy with nearly a full restaurant and lots of to go orders, yet our service was impeccable. Our server knew the things we needed before we even requested it. The food was also delicious and good portions. I’ve been to many sushi places around the valley and they have all gone up significantly in price, but at least here you get your money’s worth. Other sushi places I leave hungry with a hefty bill. This is my favorite sushi place and they serve really satisfying Korean food."

"the mandala was opened on 1 December 2015. we were surprised to see that it suddenly stood on our return from a business trip last month instead of the former Ojai-O sushi restaurant. it is difficult to miss the mandala restaurant with the colorful Tibetan prayer flags that donate you dach. we were thrilled to see the lush beauty everywhere where they turn in this restaurant, both inside and outside. and we found a meal in its quiet environment creates a comfortable exotic curse from the doldrums of everyday. the new owners (a family actually from Tibet) proudly explained that the facility for Tibetan restaurants is quite typical throughout their home. we were excited to try some of the new international foods at our first lunch during their opening month. I'll tell you when you try out the vegetarian momo appetizer, you'll have a hard time just eating one. but make sure you immerse your momo in her home made chili sauce. it's so mild that I still can't believe that chili is even one of the ingredients! I could not read the small print of the mushroom cake appetizer ingredient listing, but I ordered them anyway, vegans and vegetarian preview.) but they are really delicious! I also tried the Tibetan chow my with tofu and the Indian court gobi aloo. both were good and it is important to know that there is a whole range of Veg-Friendly foods that can be adapted to their taste with tofu substitutions or other food outbreaks. so the next time in Ojai, they swing into the highly decorative and relaxing Tibetan atmosphere in the culturally enriching new mandala restaurant in our picturesque town ojai, approx."
