"Update: I initially rated this restaurant 2 stars, but after experiencing how my takeout was packed, I have to give it just 1 star. It was a mess! The sauce for my vegetables leaked everywhere because they put a very saucy dish in a regular styrofoam container instead of a lidded plastic one. This was especially disappointing, as the sauce is essential to the dish. While the waitress was nice and competent, the sushi, despite its beautiful presentation, was merely okay in flavor. We were drawn in by the enticing photos online, but when we ordered, many of our selections couldn't be made because the chef couldn't recall their ingredients. The Ikura seemed old, with a strong fishy smell and a flattened shape from being thawed multiple times. Additionally, there was an odd smell coming from our sashimi, possibly from the white fish or imitation crab. The sashimi was served at room temperature. The Hamachi and Salmon were decent, but the Tuna was dreadful—while it looked appealing, it was extremely dry and tasteless. When we mentioned this to the staff, there was no effort made to address our concern or offer any compensation, which left us feeling uncared for despite ordering a lot of food. The waitress was polite and seemed well-trained in customer service, but we knew our feedback wouldn’t lead to any meaningful changes. On a positive note, the sushi chef adjusted our sauces to be more tangy rather than sweet, following our request. The Thai dishes, specifically the red curry with chicken and eggplant basil with tofu, were definitely better than the sushi. However, since we primarily came for sushi and sashimi, the overall experience didn’t encourage us to return."
