"Went with family for my aunt’s birthday. No one was at the host station to seat us and when someone did come it was one of the waiters. After a few minutes we got the salsa and chips. However, as we are waiting there was constant singing. I don’t mindlive entertainment but it seemed like the band was playing to almost every table. Fifteen to 20 more minutes pass by and thewaiter comes by to get our drinks. When the drinks finally come, only two come because the iced tea is “freshly brewed”.Both drinks are watered down. As the waiter takes our order we feel a sense of being rushed? And forget about asking anyquestions pertaining to the dish you want, it won’t really be answered. We eventually decided to walk out after waiting foranother twenty minutes(the place was NOT packed at all and the other drinks STILL had not come out yet. As we are about to walkaway the waiter states our food is “almost done” “it’s already done” and we ask for it to go. He clearly packs it uphurriedly so we can pay and go. DO NOT PAY WITH CARD! We read that they like to dip in and take tip amounts off your card whenthey feel like it. Anyways, my mother’s food was cold (how when you claimed it was just made? fried calamari shouldn’t becold… the food didn’t smell right from the bag, the beans looked terrible and cold. We won’t be coming here again. Just goto Cast Iron down the way!!"

"I’ll get straight to the point: I was hungry and enjoy dining out on Friday nights. I found Casa Amigos Tequila Bar to be an excellent choice. Let’s begin with the food. I ordered a fajita quesadilla, which was incredibly generous in portion size. I opted for the mixed chicken and beef, which was a nice touch, along with peppers and onions—delicious! I even asked for a takeout box so I could save the leftovers for lunch the next day. The service was attentive and friendly. Our server returned several times to refill our drinks, and we were treated to chips and tasty salsa while we looked over the menu. The atmosphere wasn’t noisy at all. There was plenty of parking available, and despite the restaurant being full, it didn’t feel cramped, allowing us to enjoy a conversation at our table. This seems to be increasingly rare these days. The bar area is separate, keeping the noise contained, though you can still order drinks from there. A family dined next to us with a small child who was having a great time with her parents and grandparents. She entertained us all by visiting each relative at the table—she was having such fun, though I wasn’t sure if she actually had any food! The restaurant has a bit of a club vibe, with a glass exterior wall that offers a nice view of the outside shrubs and trees illuminated by spotlights. It created a lovely ambiance. I highly recommend giving this place a try—you won’t be disappointed. It’s not a chain, so the quick service and delicious food made for a wonderful evening. As for parking, the restaurant is located in an office complex with ample free parking right outside. There are designated handicap spaces closest to the entrance, and there are also a few outdoor tables if you’d prefer to sit under the stars. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Recommended dishes: Pick 3 Combo, Burrito, Chimichanga, Enchilada, Fajita Quesadilla, Casa Burrito, Enchilada Parking space: Plenty of parking available Parking options: Free parking lot"

"Sandy was the only staff member on the ground floor, managing about five tables. I mentioned that it was my first visit, and she promptly provided a menu along with chips and salsa, noting that I would love their award-winning salsa. After tasting it, I was immediately impressed. The chips were hot, fresh, and crispy, while the salsa offered a perfect balance of fleeting heat and seasoning—some of the best salsa I've ever had. I ordered the 1816 margarita (1816 is her street address), which consisted of a simple mix of 1800 reposado tequila, lime juice, and Grand Marnier. It was absolutely fantastic. As a fan of chicken enchiladas verdes with green tomatillo sauce, I noticed a similar dish on the menu featuring a pipián sauce made from pumpkin seeds. Out of curiosity, I asked Sandy for a taste, and she brought me a sample. It was very good and unlike anything I had tried before, pairing wonderfully with the chips. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with pipián sauce, along with roasted beans and rice. The enchiladas were delicious, the beans were perfect, and the rice was fresh and moist. And then there was the flan—yum! Sometimes you make a lucky turn at the right moment and discover a hidden gem while also making a new friend. I often find myself in a Tex-Mex rut, so it was refreshing to enjoy something more traditional and authentic to interior Mexican cuisine. I highly recommend this place. See you soon, Sandy!"
