"I was disappointed with both the service and the food. I placed a to-go order, and the girl who took my order told me it would take 15-20 minutes. When I arrived about 15 minutes later, I paid for my order, only to be told that it would take another 10 minutes. I ended up waiting at a table for them to finish preparing my food. After a while, I checked in again, and another staff member said she would check on my order. She came back to inform me it would be another 10 minutes. By then, I had waited 40 minutes for an everything bagel with eggs and a side of potatoes, along with a breakfast combo that included a biscuit, eggs, grits, and sausage. I checked in yet again, and the girl seemed annoyed by my inquiry, which added to my frustration. The restaurant was busy at that time, but I noticed that customers who had come in after me and placed their orders for coffee and food received everything promptly while I was still waiting. At no point did anyone check in with me to say, “We forgot your order; we’re working on it,” or “The kitchen is backed up.” I would have appreciated that information rather than having to ask repeatedly. After waiting 50 minutes, I approached the counter to request a refund. The same girl who had previously brushed me off noticed my request and just tossed the bag onto the counter. I grabbed it and left, only to find that they hadn’t included any jam or ketchup. The potatoes were lukewarm and not very tasty, the bagel was decent (it's hard to go wrong with a bagel), but the biscuit was dry, and the eggs looked unappetizing. I would not recommend this place. I've included pictures to show what my 50-minute wait resulted in."

"Special night for us (my family) as we were in Toronto for something very special. I called the restaurant directly and asked if the restaurant was accessible as one of my children is in a wheelchair. I was assured that the restaurant was completely accessible and they would be glad to have us. Upon entering the owner looked at us with disdain, as if this wheelchair would cause him problems. We are normally greeted with smiles and a welcome to my business attitude. Not here. We went right out to the patio as the day was beautiful, but there were stairs to get up to it. At this point I 'm wondering why I was told the restaurant was totally accessible. Then with the same look on his face that he didn 't even want us there, he looks in the dining room that looked lovely but shoke his head and mumbled something about 'not enough room '. I looked and saw one couple eating in there, that was it. He then pointed to the sort of entry way bar area where there were a collection of garage sale tables form the 50 's and said 'how about here ? ' It was not what I had been envisioning where my family would dine before our special event, but did not want to spoil the fetive mood we had so made do. Apart form the owner being a real idiot, the food was great and the server was fantastic. How do you rate a restaurant experience like that ? Great food, but not welcomed or wanted by the owner. Dissapointed comes to mind."
