"I have been a fan of Florencia Pizza since they first opened in Huntington Park, California. When they left, I couldn't find them but when I moved to Mesa, Arizona, a friend told me they had relocated to Chandler. It is the best place to go for pizza. I still see the original workers and it is the best pizza place around. They were in Huntington Park for over 10 years and we used to visit every Friday. Some of my friends even used to work there. Now that they are in Arizona, I still go there regularly. It is better than other pizza places because it is more authentic and homemade. The Cornmeal spread on the bottom of the pan when they bake the pizza makes it delicious. I recommend anyone to go there and ask for Val."

The prices here are on the expensive side considering the portion size, taste, and quality. Nobody is perfect, and I always try to be fair in my reviews. This place has great food and service. The Barry's Pesto Bread is a delicious appetizer or meal. The flavor and texture of the walnuts pairs nicely with the jalapeño, pesto, and mozzarella. The pizza crust is a nice combo of crispy and soft. The toppings are fresh and work well with the crust. The restaurant is surrounded by nice foothill and mountain views. The interior had a nice, soft lit ambiance. It's a gem in the Ahwatukee Foothills.
