"First came finding a place to live—an arduous, expensive, and often frustrating task. Next, I sought out parks, trails, rivers, and lakes to relax in, since those are my favorite spots. Then comes the search for food, which can be hit or miss depending on my mood. Waffle House has always been my go-to—a reliable option with no frills. Unfortunately, there are no Waffle Houses in Peoria, which leaves me feeling a bit lost when it comes to food.
I often sit at their counter, watching as they work, and my orders come quickly. I recently discovered a new spot to eat: The Hungry Moose. I thought it looked interesting, so I decided to check it out. The bar felt like my old familiar counter, and the stools were similar. I could see right away that they knew what they were doing.
The menu offered breakfast all day, which was music to my ears. The prices were reasonable, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious—my plate came back absolutely clean. I share this story with sincerity: nothing good in life comes for free."
