"However, I also ordered a 16 oz ribeye with asparagus and mac and cheese. Unfortunately, the ribeye was a bit overcooked for my taste, and it seemed like they were a bit stingy with the seasoning. The same issue was noted with my friend's filet mignon; it lacked seasoning as well. I was also slightly surprised that the ends of the asparagus were not trimmed off—not a major issue, just a personal preference. On a positive note, the mac and cheese was excellent. I was a little disappointed when I ordered a slice of cheesecake with bourbon caramel for dessert, but they ended up bringing me a raspberry cheesecake instead. I still enjoyed it, as it was delicious, but I would have preferred to receive what I originally ordered. Overall, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, frequently checking in on us and refilling our drinks. The pricing is about average compared to other steakhouses I’ve frequented. However, for $110, a few small improvements could have greatly enhanced our experience."

"It took more than 20 minutes to receive 4 plain toasted bagels from this location. When I opened my order in the public area, I realized that my order was incorrect and I had received someone else's bagel. I also saw another customer ask for a refund because they were unable to receive their plain bagel. The staff seemed incompetent. However, the bagels themselves were delicious."

"First and foremost, I’ve never been to a restaurant where I was forced to pay for a drink I did not want after taking one sip from it all because the Bartender did not know what she was doing the night of 1/20/25. The first drink I ordered was a mango margarita with Patron’, then the second drink I ordered was a Lime margarita except this time I asked if it could be put in a regular glass because the first Margarita was in a huge goblet with tons of ice and I could barely taste the liquor. She said ok, then returns to the table with the exact same glass I asked her not to put the Margarita in, she started to get frustrated as soon as her mistake was pointed out, took the huge Margarita back and brought it out in a smaller glass. I took one sip from it and almost Gagged because this was not the same tequila used in the first one, it was a much cheaper one like Cuervo. I POLITELY told her I didn’t want it and could she take it back, she says ok, leaves the drink on the table and walks away. Out comes a tall woman with dark hair and glasses standing over me with a crazy look saying, “ I heard you don’t like the drink? It’s the same Tequila as the first one.” I told her, “ No it’s not. I can taste the difference and I don’t want it, can you take it back?” She stares at me and says, “ I’m not taking it off the bill!” I then proceeded to tell her again, “ I don’t want it and YOU ARE NOT GONNA MAKE ME DRINK SOMETHING I DONT WANT!!!” As a Bi-racial woman of both Blk Sicilian descent) I knew exactly what this was. It wasn’t about the drink anymore, it had now become an issue of defiance, authority and disregard for what I the paying customer) wanted. I was not asking for anything FREE, but rather for an item that I did not fully consume to be taken off the bill. Once I seen that this was going no where and that she was ready to go back and forth with me over a nasty, watered down $13 Margarita, I decided to pay for the drink I DID NOT even consume. Not only did my guess and I have to experience this, but she comes back around on the side we’re sitting on and starts stacking the chairs on the tables and turning off all the TVs on the left side where we were sitting, while leaving the TVs on the right side of the room on where there were 3 or 4 ppl left. Basically sending a non-verbal que for my guest and I to leave. I did not get her name, but I have no problem returning there to point her out. She has poor managerial skills and needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!! At the end of the day, don’t cheat your customers out of their hard earned money, she is a poor representation of your company and the “Modern Day Racism” shouldn’t be tolerated within your business!!!"

"I took my family here for the first time tonight. How have I never been here before?? We had a great experience! First of all their chicken wings stand up with anybody in town! Their chicken tenders are outstanding! My wife got a chicken and shrimp pasta that she couldn't even eat half of. I got a local beer flight of IPAs for $7!? Crazy! We finished up with their version of a brownie pie. We had incredible first class service, exceptional good, and very reasonable prices. Can't wait to spend my hard earned money with them again! 10 stars if I could!"

"Unfortunately we had our first visit the same time as our last visit. Service was very lacking, our waiter cared more about chatting with other tables. The food was… interesting. They serve French onion soup with kids paper scissors so that you can cut the cheese. Did not feel comfortable using non-food grade scissors on my food when i had a perfectly good knife. The French onion soup was also probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. The broth/soup liquid was very weird and the bread in it was absolute mush, like they use regular sandwich white bread. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites and wasted my money on it. NONE of our food was hot. Onion rings, soup, kids chicken all could be eaten straight away without needing to cool off. This means our food was sitting and waiting for our waiter for a while. Don’t get me started on the prices. Some of their prices resemble that of an upscale restaurant, which this is not. $14 for an appetizer of spinach dip!!"

"The food at this restaurant is great, but the service leaves much to be desired. I came for lunch and was impressed with the delicious food, particularly the Meatball Sub which was hot and cheesy with plenty of meatballs. However, I was disappointed when I tried the chicken parm, as it was just okay. When I visited with my family, the service was subpar. Although we were seated and served quickly, our server got almost every aspect of our order wrong. When we pointed out the mistakes, the server did not offer to replace the incorrect items. Additionally, we were charged separately for fries and mozzarella sticks, which was not disclosed upfront. Overall, I may still visit again, but I have concerns about the service and may not return in the future."

"I'm a known sandwich and hoagie guy, and by far the best is here with the South Philly. I get oil and mayo, roasted red peppers and hot pepper spread on the deeded. It can't be beat. The Wiz Wit style cheesesteak is also freaking amazing. Both hit hard. I used to order a few times a week in my bigger days, now it's a cheat day favorite. The chicken wings are great wit or w/o sauce. This location doesn't have alot of dine in customers but ALOT of takeout/delivery."

"This is a very nice place to go for some breakfast. It feels fancy but the prices are average. The restaurant is always clean anytime I go. Looks gorgeous inside. One of the times, there was a man playing the piano and it made the experience a billion times better. The only negative I have is that the biscuits I got (biscuits and gravy) were undercooked. They were very doughy inside and it was a little tough to finish."

"I am not very particular when it comes to food, but I was hungry and looking for a satisfying meal, only to leave feeling disappointed. Typically, if I have a bad experience at a restaurant, I am willing to give it another try, but I don't think I will be returning to this place. The staff seemed disinterested and did not provide good service. We ordered the famous queso appetizer for $6, but it was the smallest portion of queso I have ever seen, and it was mostly sausage rather than cheese. Additionally, we came specifically for the ribs, as I had heard they were excellent here. However, when we tried to order them, we were informed that they were unavailable. It would have been helpful to know this before we sat down, especially since it is a popular item on the menu. I ended up ordering the double shrimp pasta instead, and while the flavors were decent, the shrimp was severely overcooked. As a shrimp enthusiast, this made the dish very unappetizing for me."

"Since 2011, my friends I have always had positive experiences (food service) at this bar grill UNTIL Friday night 10/6/23 between 5-6:30pm. As an aside, the restaurant had open tables and I did not see a wait. A GEN Z waitress was training a GEN X waitress at our table. My friend I are late stage baby boomers. The GEN X waitress did great on her own and was only hampered by the GEN Z waitress 's LACK OF professionalism. My friend and I both ordered the pasta and fish specials for the day which were both delicious. That 's where the positives for the meal end. The GEN Z waitress asked my friend, Can I take your plate or would you like to lick it clean? My friend 's response, Aren 't you fresh! I was stunned, as I was still eating my meal and had a glass of wine to finish. At this point, I was asked if I wanted a box- I said no, I 'm still eating. My friend ordered a cup of decaf coffee which was burnt. A box was delivered to our table for my remaining meal. We were asked if we wanted dessert, coffee ?....at which point my friend mentioned the decaf coffee issue. GEN Z waitress response, it was made about 15 minutes ago and offered another cup. My friend said no AND I responded to Gen Z waitress question, with a NO- just the check. We would have entertained another drink, dessert and coffee but it was obvious the Gen Z waitress wanted the table to turn over. Why? We left-EACH spending $36 including a 20% tip for hopefully ONLY the GEN X waitress! We complimented the GEN X waitress as we left. NOT in a hurry to return..... "I stopped in randomly and had a great bartender and food for some drinks and apps. I was off put by the in your face sign about the industry standard credit card fee. As someone who works for a financial firm, that is simply a lie. There were no other options for frictionless paymnet(i.e. Apple or Google Pay). That type of practice is, imo, an example of greedflatiion and predatory. I loved the service and food but will not be back until that fee is eliminated."

"My girlfriend and I were in search of some Italian food in the area and decided to try this restaurant without knowing much about it. From the outside, it looked small, but once we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by a staff member. We decided to sit inside, and although a friendly customer offered us free wine, we politely declined since we don’t drink. The waiter was very nice and had a great sense of humor. Service was quick, and thanks to a recommendation from another customer, we decided to order the garlic knots, which were absolutely delicious! We also tried a tuna sandwich and a pepperoni pizza, both of which were quite good."

"I had a bad experience from start to finish at the Old Mohawk. To start, we waited a reasonable 5ish minutes to be sat. Not horrible, not ideal. Total non issue if this was a lone occurence. We get sat, order drinks, and put in an order for an appetizer. We sat on the patio and dealt with a horrible methane smell the entire time. Totally gross. Before I go any further I should comment that the menu is a bit all over the place. Cajun pasta, cheeseburgers, crab tater tots, bratwurst. Not bad, just strange. On the other side the food is very affordable given the area. So we’re sat for a while with our drinks and we didn’t see our server, Ali, again until we got our food. We never got our appetizer, so I asked her to take it off our bill. Not a huge issue. Mistakes happen. Another issue was that she brought out my entree before my salad, so I had already forgotten about it and started to dig in to my main course. Then 5 minutes later she rolls out with my salad. The food, was good. My bratwurst platter looked more like skirt steak which I thought was strange but it was good enough. A little tough, but good. My girlfriend’s fish and chips were also pretty good. When we got our food I asked for a beer that I didn’t end up getting. We got done eating and asked for the bill, that bill came after 20ish minutes of waiting and asking another server to check on it. Overall pretty bad experience. We were planning to order 3 drinks each, get an appetizer and hang out for a while, but our server totally dropped the ball. I just moved to GV and was really excited to try this place out, but was totally disappointed. I’m hoping this was just a bad day, but it was bad enough that I found it was worth sharing my experience."
