Spam Musubi is a delicious Hawaiian snack featuring a slice of Spam over sushi rice, wrapped with nori seaweed.

"Dined here on a Sunday evening. I didn’t want to walk in, so I called ahead to see if they had any reservations available for 3 that night, and they were able to take us within 30 mins. Perfect! I’m glad we called ahead because it’s really small inside. For appetizers we ordered the galbi musubi, spicy spam musubi, and kimchi radish cake. Musubis were awesome. The kimchi radish cake was a big surprise. I love radish (turnip) cakes from dim sum. This was the same exact style except mixed with kimchi. It was awesome. I loved it!!For my entree I got the shrimp rice bowl. It was garlic and so tasty. It came with tons of shrimp! For dessert they were out of the bruleed pineapples, so we opted for the pandan crème brûlée. One of the workers just so happen to remember me from high school and gave us an ice cream dessert as well. Both desserts were awesome. I loved the sweet and saltiness in the sundae she gave us.Service was excellent. I’d love to come back!"

"On our recent visit to Napa we were happy to see that Wilfred’s was a Hawaiian restaurant. Our daughter lives in Hawaii Wilfred’s brought us fond memories of our trips to visit her. As we entered the restaurant we were immediately greeted with a very friendly staff. The atmosphere and decor was amazing—very authentic Hawaiian! The food was delicious, especially enjoyed the spam sliders and macadamia nut ice cream for our dessert. Our waitress Virginia gave excellent service. As we left the hostess spent time answering our questions about the restaurant history. We highly recommend Wilfred’s for a superior dining experience! We look forward to eating here again. Thank you to your great employees. Mahalo"

"There were a lot of clearly marked options. They understand veganism. The fried tofu was well cooked in both the bento and the ramen. However, the ramen was really bad. I mean, literally no flavor. No amount of soy sauce, chili oil, or sriracha could doctor this. The ginger dressing on the salad needs a bit of salt and lemon(which they provide). They offer fresh wasabi for $4, which is a real treat, but honestly overpriced at $4 unless the whole table is going to dip in... the free wasabi was clearly not of the same quality, and honestly so tasteless, it makes me question the quality of the fresh one."

"I like the atmosphere! It more of a Japanese Korean fusion inspired restaurant. Cute soju bottle decor This is what I ordered : Homemade Crab Puffs 4/5 a bit too much cream cheese in the mix. The wonton crunch was thin and crispy. Takoyaki 3/5 flavor was there but it was dense and too gooey inside. Spicy Salmon Roll 4/5 basic spicy salmon roll. Chicken Katsu Bento Box 4/5 it’s a lot of food. The salad and the dressing was the first part I finished. The gyoza was alright there wasn’t a lot of flavor in it though. California rolls were basic California rolls. The chicken Katsu had a really nice crunch was juicy and moist but it just needed to be tossed in salt for a second. Overall I had a good experience here. I was able to eat my leftovers for dinner I’ll probably come back for happy hour."

"I really don't often give one star to anything because I feel there is usually a redeeming quality but this Quickly truly has none. I was in the area after working all day and hadn't had anything to eat or drink so I was desperate to not go into a hypoglycemic crisis. Luckily I saw the Quickly. But I guess it was not so lucky. The guy behind the counter was not nice at all, barking at me to give him my order. The boba was gross. Mango stars were not stars and were shreds of jelly and were mushy. The milk tea was just okay. My partner thought his tasted rotten but we think it was just the terrible boba. I won't ever come here ever again."

"I’ve been ordering sweet and sour shrimp for years at Emperor Express and it was the BEST! Last night I ordered the same thing and it was terrible! The batter for the shrimp was different, crispy but tasted like a pastry! Totally took over the sweet and sour sauce! There was no flavor! Dry and crispy shrimps with a few pieces of onions, bell peppers and pineapple. PLEASE BRING THE PREVIOUS RECIPE BACK! : Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"I have been missing the food and atmosphere in Waikiki lately, and this place truly brought me back to the relaxing ocean breeze, comfort food, and tropical vibes of Hawaii! I had a lovely time here with my family, and we all loved the food, drinks, and service! Shoutout to Danielle for being such a wonderful server. FOOD Chicken lettuce wraps: These were a bit messy to eat but very good! The lettuce was very fresh and was a great way to start our meal. Papaya salad: We LOVED this dish!! The balance between the greens, papaya, lychee, and macadamia nuts was so delightful and refreshing. Hawaiian Mochiko chicken: The chicken was so tender and well seasoned! The veggies on the side were also great, and my grandma really enjoyed the healthy option. DRINKS Mermaid's Kiss: This drink was refreshing and strong! It wasn't super sweet, which was perfect. Painkiller: This drink was also pretty strong, and I really enjoyed it! Would highly recommend ordering both of these drinks. SERVICE The service here is amazing, and what I was most impressed by is that they knew we would be doing family style rather than having individual entrees. They brought out extra plates for us, no questions asked. It made me feel that the staff here are culturally competent and mindful, and I really appreciated that! Thank you for a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back!"

"Island sushi I was craving sushi so I looked this place up and I’m happy we ended up here. I got confused at first and entered through the entrance that was for pick-up only and ordering to-go. Didn’t realize to the right of me they had an actual sit-down area to enjoy eating and drinking . We ordered the Dragon roll, Surf turf and Spider roll. All of them were so good! They have specials going on too and we barely made the cutoff. Drinks were Island Colada which was so yummy I’d get it again and the Guava Rita Coronita We also ordered a bento box with garlic chicken, this was delicious as well! Definitely recommend coming here"

"The Original Hawaiian Royal w Fried Rice Portugeuse Sausage, Char Sui (Chinese BBQ Pork), Eggs, Fried Rice, Sprouts, Onions 5! Spam Masubi spam, rice, sauce, seawood wrap 5! Hawaiian style Macaroni Salad 5! I am a fan of Hawaiian food partly because it is a wonderfully, eclectic blend of influences from other cuisines and has evolved far enough to have its own distinct culinary identity. Rutt's Hawaiian Cafe, an LA Hawaiian cafe with a few locations around the SoCal area, fully embraces the food that makes Hawaii special. Their menu includes a large list of island favorites. I was drawn towards the Royale dish, which is something that isn't available at lots of other Hawaiian places. A Royale is an egg omelette dish mixed with rice and fillings. I went with their original which includes sausage and char sui and I went for the fried rice version. It was amazing! So much flavor with all the ingredients mixed together. Every bite was magic. It was also insanely filling. I used some of the bbq sauces on the table to add a bit more kick. I love Hawaiian style macaroni salad as well as spam masubi. Had I known how big the royale was, I'd probably have just ordered that but I was keen to try some other items. No regrets! The spam masubi is always a fun dish to have. It is a nice savory sweet combo and hit the spot. Their take on the macaroni salad was also excellent. The restaruant is bright and colorful. I like that a large copy of the menu greets you at the door. There are lots of seats inside and outside on a patio. The servers were friendly and helpful. My server is who convinced me to try the royale. There is a very small parking lot connected to the restaurant but it also looked like there was lots of easy street parking. If you love Hawaiian cuisine or if you are curious what makes a great Hawaiian dish, give Rutt's a try! They have been open for a long time and have a lot of great food in their friendly, colorful location."

"I really enjoy this restaurant, but they always serve large-sized Boba drinks late at night. The smaller-sized drinks just don't measure up. My son also loves their popcorn chicken. The large-sized drinks are great, and my top choices for Boba Snow flavors are green apple and passion fruit."

"We came across a small hidden gem of a restaurant when we were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. From the outside, it may not have seemed like much, but once we tried their bento box dishes, we were blown away. I ordered the coconut bubble tea and a side of grilled beef, both of which were delicious. The tapioca bubbles in the tea were perfectly sweet and chewy, making it the best coconut bubble tea I've ever had. The restaurant seemed to have a loyal customer base, with many locals dining there. The bento box we ordered was fresh and filling, with a huge sushi roll that was almost too big to eat in one bite. I opted for the Teriyaki chicken, which was a generous portion. The service was also impeccable, with a friendly older woman ensuring that we enjoyed our meal. If you're within 20 miles of this restaurant, it's definitely worth a visit. I would gladly come back again in the future."

"My husband and I have been loyal customers of Jay, the owner and chef, since his days at a small hole-in-the-wall on Cerritos and Valley View. Now, he's opened a new place in Los Alamitos, and it is absolutely delicious! The fish is among the freshest I've ever tasted, the sauces are flawless, and the vegetables are always fresh, crisp, and flavorful. Jay is incredibly nice and welcoming. This dining experience is truly worth every penny!"

"From the photos this place looked nice but I guess you only get that experience in the night. Initially I sat outside but the smell of was unbearable, smelled like hobo ****. So I changed to indoor seating and it was alot better. It had a nice little ambience going on in there too. The Service was okay. I ordered sushi rolls and I thought it was quite overpriced as the sushi was almost below mediocre. Maybe it was a bad day so might have to revisit. Out of their control but parking is very hard to find in this area so I recommend ubering."

"Came here several times with friends and coworkers to grab drinks and yummy sushi. I really enjoy their oyster shots and their Jensai Blue Fire Roll (served on fire! is pretty cool and taste great. Good variety and decent prices. Service is always friendly but can be a bit of a wait since there are less staff during the pandemic so I can't blame them. Ambiance is pretty chill and they have a TV to watch games at the bar. Neat spot and I enjoy coming here. It's on a somewhat busy street when you exit tue freeway. Parking lot is very limited and hard to find so you may need to park on the side streets Or the neighborhood nearby. If you have a large party, I suggest carpooling."

"I have coveted loaded fries, and their menu did not disappoint. I ordered the "animal" fries, which is their vegan take on my old In N Out favorite. They also have buffalo ranch, bacon cheese, and chili cheese (all vegan). I also ordered the soulfood sushi roll. I'm not used to making "cream" based recipes (cream cheese and mayo-based sauce,) so although it was delicious, it was too rich for me. I would definitely try other roles! You are now fully VEGAN!
