"Made reservations at 8:30 for 4 on Valentine’s Day. Got to restaurant at 8:15. Checked in with hostess who said reservations for that night were invalid because they had taken over 400 reservations for that night so no reservations were being granted we would need to be put on waiting list for 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Luckily, or so we thought, a bar waitress got us a table in bar area. She sat us, then continued to ignore us. It was a busy night granted but she didn’t have to seat us only to ask for our drink order 20 minutes later, then take another 20 minutes just to bring our waters. My husband finally got the bartender to make our drinks on a separate order he delivered them to our table. 20 minutes after that our food order was taken. Our soups were cold my soup bowl had residual food left on the inside of bowl. So nasty. 20 minutes after that waitress said she would check on our food. Didn’t see her again for another 30 minutes. Once we finally received our food, it was also very cold because it had been sitting waiting on her to pick it up bring to us. During the meal, she mentioned that another table ‘up left without paying’. I assume she told us that to overlook her horrible service or to feel sorry for her. As a former waitress, I can say this was by far the worse service food I have ever received. We didn’t leave the restaurant until close to 11:00 pm after being seated at 8:20. I understand it was Valentine’s Day but no restaurant should take reservations if they aren’t going to honor them have their worst waitresses working on one of their busiest nights. The whole thing was very unfortunate. I won’t go back."

"While we were in this situation, another patron approached with a pager, returned it to the hostess, and said, "We’re tired of waiting, we’re leaving." The hostess then told us, "Okay, I can seat you now." It was unclear why our reservation suddenly mattered, but we were relieved to finally get a table. Our server was pleasant but struggled with basic tasks, such as refilling our water and Diet Cokes. We ordered two appetizers, which arrived in a reasonable time, but my tomato basil soup tasted like watered-down marinara. My wife's lobster bisque was so diluted it resembled broth. Meanwhile, my daughter had requested her dressing on the side for her salad, but it came drenched in dressing. During our meal, we witnessed the shocking behavior of a waiter who was verbally reprimanding a customer at the booth next to us. The customer was simply trying to get his server's attention, and instead, the waiter chastised him for being rude, insisting he should never do that again. This went on for 2-3 minutes, and it was appalling to hear such disrespect directed at an elderly man. We waited over an hour for our entrees. Eventually, we instructed our server to have the meals packaged to go. We ordered mahi and salmon, but when we got home, we found both were overcooked. The mahi had the texture of dry turkey breast, and the same went for the salmon. Throughout this ordeal, no manager ever came to check on us. We will not be returning."

"Arrived around noon for lunch, ended up getting breakfast because duh!. As I was being seated a nice young man set down a clean glass and a yolk branded carafe, which was a nice touch. Excellent service as I was seeking out creamer for my coffee Peyton(my server) promptly offered any of several varieties and even brought them on a little plate for me. Once returned with said creamer varieties I asked her what I ask everytime I go into a new place to eat. I asked her what everyone orders, and what she gets when she is tired of eating at this place. She rattled off several options including an interesting take on chicken and waffles *spoiler alert* (they put bacon in the waffle), a country skillet complete with all the homefries this girl could ever want, and the croque madame, which is made with a 'secret ' batter. I opted for a moment to review, and upon her return ordered the chicken and waffles and the cinnamon roll french toast. They arrived with haste despite being in the middle of what I would call lunch rush. The chicken and waffles was an interesting dish being comprised of what I would call a spectacular example of a waffle. Perfectly crisp exterior with the inner fluffiness I have come to expect from only making it myself or the Belgian style label(and subsequent upcharge) The chicken breast was well seasoned, and only just a tad over done, but chicken is one of those things everyone is worried about undercooking, so I can 't be too sad. They included a small side of sausage gravy, which was scrumptious. I wish I would have gotten a biscuit for it. I chose to top this with an overeasy egg to give myself the chance to have another tasty sauce and it did not disappoint. Leave it to these guys to be passionate about their namesake. Cinnamon roll french toast is one of those gimmicky things I like to use to try and ascertain what the quality of the 'batter ' is in breakfast places, and this one was on par with others I have had with a light dusting of powdered sugar and one of the three slices being doused in cream cheese icing. The icing was decadent without crossing the border into way too rich, which was a nice change of pace from most cinnamon rolls I come into contact with. This is a pretty good place to get breakfast. While it is less pretentious than first watch, it has quality of ingredients and service to rival it. Making it two steps above my local IHOP and with a similar pricetag I can 't complain. I 'll definitely be back."
