"This would be a zero if possible. While I was waiting to pick up a delivery order, a rat ran across the floor, mice and cockroaches were running in the grease and food prep areas and on the floors. It was disgusting! Flies and bugs everywhere. Not to mention another order came in for delivery for me to pick up while I was waiting for them to cook the previous order…they literally took cold noodles out of the fridge with their bare hands no gloves the poured a can of Alfredo sauce on the pasta put boiled shrimp in it and bagged it up. I haven’t eaten here and I would not ever after seeing all that."

"After about five hours of chasing the fish on our plates, my brother and I finally made it to the Manitou. We were starving like gods after being on the water all day. I know we looked a bit rough around the edges compared to the others there, who were dressed in golf attire with silver hair and an air of superiority. I couldn't help but feel that the staff might have been tired of us, perhaps viewing us as vagrants. But the experience was surprisingly wonderful. We both ordered the roasted white fish, and it did not disappoint. Overall, it was a good experience. We paid our bill at the end, although I could tell the staff might have expected us to leave without paying. Would we eat here again? Absolutely!"

"I had a craving for Indian food and decided to order the chicken jalfrezi. It turned out to be quite delicious. I placed my order through GrubHub, and the food arrived hot and securely packaged, with saran wrap and a stapled bag. The chicken was tender, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked with a nice crunch. The flavor was good, but I opted for mild and realized I should have chosen medium, as it lacked the spice I enjoy. The portion size was generous—I couldn't finish it in one sitting. The price was also reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants, and it definitely hit the spot for my Indian food craving. I've also tried their chicken tikka masala in the past, and it was equally good."

"I had high hopes for this restaurant as it had been recommended to me numerous times. However, I was ultimately disappointed. I ordered the twice-cooked pork and the dinosaur roll, while my friend had the sesame chicken with chicken fried rice. The roll was mediocre and the salad greens were from a bag. The pork tasted old and sour, so I asked for a different dish. The waitress was not very happy about it but reluctantly replaced it with an orange shrimp dish. Unfortunately, the shrimp dish was incredibly spicy to the point of being unpleasant, with an overwhelming amount of chili. My friend's chicken fried rice was bland and cold, and the additional charge for chicken was disappointing. However, the sesame chicken was delicious. Despite the trouble we had removing the inedible item from our bill, the discount we received on the new bill was strange. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. I suggest trying Kobe, as it is more affordable and much better quality. (The fish decorations were cute though!)"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"The food here is always excellent, quick, and reasonably priced. The ingredients are fresh, and the service is friendly. Although the seating area is somewhat limited, we always manage to find a spot as this place is a popular choice for dining. The portion sizes are generous, and you can order combination plates that include fried rice and an egg roll or duck, with the option to add your favorite sides. I've been to the China House with various groups—friends, family, and even during appointments—and everyone leaves satisfied with their meals. It's located behind Sonic in a small strip mall, so it can be easy to overlook, but it's definitely worth seeking out!"

"Hands down the best Pad Thai you can get. I work on the road,and have eaten Pad Thai in every restaurant thatI Ive found it. No doubt Eastern makes the best. When im working here for a week or 3 months,i ONLY eat here and 99% eat Pad Thai everyday for dinner.Everything I've tried from Lemon Chicken, which is perfectly cooked,to Garlic beef is delicious. "This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"Another place we often drove past and said: “We need to check it”... we will finally get it and it was really good. Had the French dip with one side of onion rings and both were very delicious... my wife had the Corned Beef and Kohl Sandwich (they don't call it Rueben?!? and it was, in her words, the best she tasted! Service was efficient and fast and we sat right away when we came through the door. Great Local Spot with a friendly neighborhood... Don't just pass, stop and enjoy!"

"Very disappointed in the service and the food. Me and wifey went there to celebrate our 46 wedding anniversary and left there feeling unsatisfied and sorry we went there. The waitress was very cold, she rushed us and when I had a few questions about some dishes she got impatient and rushed away from our table then came back at least 15 minutes later. She was the most unfriendly waitress I have ever had, anywhere. The food was ok at best but the fried calamari was totally horrible. It looked more like onion rings, and was very rubbery. It was so bad we only had one bite then left the rest. I have been going to Zen since they opened. I even know the owner, David. It used to be owned by two brothers but I think they had a falling out a few years back. The one brother, Phil, opened a restaurant in Laurel across from Mission Barbecue several years ago. Anyway, I think it may be a very long time before I think about ordering from Zen again in the future. "Took my partner in for a quick Saturday brunch this weekend. While I’ve dined at both this location as well as Timonium several times, this was his first time dining at Michaels. We were sat in G/Germone’s section in the back, which never appeared full. His demeanor came off as sickly sweet and pretty fake from beginning to end. Not holding his style against him. However, his sequence of service was poor. We watched him shut down as soon as he realized we might not be a high top table. My espresso martini took entirely too long, and it was clear G forgot about it about 10 min after being ordered. Our chicken and waffles were cooked, expedited and ran quickly so no complaints there. But didn’t love his lack of quality service. Not sure why G’s first check-in was 15-20 minutes after our food was dropped and instead of asking how we were doing, he acknowledged his own absence by thanking us for our patience. Had he walked up to the table just a few minutes earlier, he might’ve gotten that higher top ticket because I wanted to order a second drink. At this point, though, with such cruddy service we were ready for a soft drink refill, box for our two entrees, and check. We got the refill and box almost immediately but had to wait even longer to watch G practice his fake style at another table nearby before finally becoming check ready. I’m so disappointed that this was my partner’s first and likely last visit to Michaels White Marsh. I personally don’t see myself visiting this location by choice again. "This was such a cute restaurant. It’s very spacious and decorative. Lots of stuffed animals, it really does look like a lodge. My friend recommended the Black Bleu Burger so I ordered it. It came with red peppers and I was worried that the flavors would clash but it had the opposite effect. The roasted red peppers really enhanced the Bleu cheese and made it pop. I really enjoyed my burger, this was probably the best black Bleu burger I’ve had in a long time. Service was ok. Our waiter was attentive and kind. The only issue I had was that as we were eating our entree he said he would bring the check. It definitely changed the atmosphere because we started feeling rushed. There were plenty of empty tables, so not sure what that was about. I would recommend bringing the check when the customer asks for it or is finished eating, but bringing it over after receiving the order is a bit excessive. Lots of free parking here."
