"First time dining, I was on the 2nd floor, seated next to a table with a large party, by the elevator entrance. It was loud, didn’t have a window view, just staring at wine bottles and the severs coming In and out of the elevator. My salad was soggy, not the best experience. Spent $199 , not worth it. "If you’re in the East Rutherford area, Annabella’s House of Mozzarella is a place you don’t want to miss! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so welcoming. We started with the calamari, and it was amazing—crispy, tender, and served with a flavorful tomato sauce that hit the spot. For the main course, the Pollo Campagna was incredible. The chicken was so tender and packed with flavor, and the artichoke sauce made it even better. It was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. The live music on Friday night was a perfect touch and really set a fun mood for the evening. Bill, our host, was super friendly and took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for great food, awesome service, and a fun vibe, Annabella’s is definitely worth checking out! Highly recommend it!"

"I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and I finally did! I just wish I hadn't waited so long. I ordered a few items from the menu to take home. First, I had the #1 on ciabatta bread, which featured prosciutto, mortadella, Genoa salami, soppressata, sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. It was one of the best Italian subs I've ever tasted! Next, I had Grandma Pizza, a thin-crust square pizza topped with olive oil, mozzarella cheese, and sauce. It was equally delicious! I also tried two soups: Pasta Fagioli and chicken soup. Both were tasty! While the Pasta Fagioli wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, it was still really good (Forte's still holds the title for the best Pasta Fagioli). The place was busy, but the staff was wonderful! They even forgot to put my pizza in the oven, and to make up for it, they insisted I take a free dessert. I tried the caramel brownie, and it was fantastic! I will definitely be returning and can't wait to try more of their pizzas, sandwiches, and other dishes!"

"I called the restaurant to explain the situation, but they dismissed my concerns and said, “Oh, we’ll refund you next time; just let us know.” I took the cup back to the restaurant to show them the soup. The staff member cringed when he smelled it too, but instead of addressing my concern, he started yelling at me as if I were the problem. If you own a food service establishment and someone brings a serious issue like this to your attention, you should be alarmed, not defensive. It was clear that something had gone horribly wrong with my soup. Honestly, I wish there were a better way to hold the entire staff accountable instead of just writing this review, but it seems that’s not the case. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible that soup was. Do not eat here! I will never return!"

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"The tables are quite small and positioned closely together, which creates a noisy ambiance. I found myself occasionally leaning toward my companions to hear them, as another table was just 2 to 3 feet away. I'm a big fan of good bread—the kind that's worth the carbs—and when a restaurant pays attention to quality bread, it bodes well for the meal. This place served really good bread to start. The butter was perfectly soft at room temperature. The octopus was above average but didn’t stand out. My friend enjoyed the bone marrow, while I found the croquettes to be better than what I've had at most places, despite not being a croquettes fan. The sea bass, however, was excellent. My friends seemed pleased with their desserts. The wine selection was interesting; they seemed to have a good variety, but for some reason, my Sauvignon Blanc tasted sweet, which left me perplexed. If you're familiar with wines, you might understand the confusion. I even wondered if I was served the wrong glass. I wrapped up the evening with a 12-year-old Japanese whiskey served over a block of ice. Our waiter was a nice guy who made an effort, though his timing was a bit off at first and he came across as somewhat impatient. Overall, though, he did well. The main reason I can't give this place five stars is that the evening started off on a sour note due to the service; this became the first topic of discussion at our table. For instance, when I arrived, the host at the front desk basically said, "They're over there; just keep walking and you'll find them." When I sat down, my friends also remarked on how dismissive he was when they made their table request. Although the restaurant was busy that evening, it wasn't full, and there were plenty of available tables. I'm looking forward to returning to try the outdoor space. I believe that if management could enhance their service quality, this could become one of the best restaurants in Atlanta at this price point."

"I frequently order out from here. The food is always good and exceptional. Kudos to the chefs, cooks and kitchen. The staff, the face of the restaurant, is incredibly rude. Perhaps it’s because I order out. I order about 2-3x a month for the past year (subs, pizza, main dishes, appetizers, etc. and maybe once, I’ll be greeted nicely. Mainly and always ignored by any female, servers, and supervisors in a tie, that stand behind the kiosks gossiping about their tables and dancing, walking around customers waiting for help. They pass judgement on appearance from the experience I’ve had. Not only to me, my other person refuses to walk in there to pick up because of his experience with the face of the restaurant. The gestures they made towards him was unacceptable. I write this because of my most recent experience I had on Feb 14, 2025 was actually ridiculous. The 2-3 Female servers, (2blonde, 1brunette and short supervisor (in purple standing behind the front kiosks avoided eye contact until they finished their conversation, giggling. I am only trying to pick up my order and I was interrupting them to help me, which they didn’t. Someone else did. I assume the owners of this establishment is aware of how there employees act and the lack of care to allow unprofessionalism is truly questionable. I get having fun and joking around but not in front of customers, especially speaking about other customers publicly and during busiest hours."

"Good evening, I’m sorry to leave a negative review, but I feel it’s necessary. I just received my Shrimp Parm with pasta order through UberEats, and the shrimp were either pre-cooked or overcooked. They were inconsistent in size and lacked the quality I’ve seen when dining in. It’s disappointing to have to cover the main ingredient with sauce, breading, and cheese just to eat small, overcooked, and unclean shrimp. This was my first order, and unfortunately, it will be my last. Please reconsider the quality of your delivery meals to avoid disappointing customers."

"Is this the best on Long Island? If not, it's definitely among the top contenders in an area known for excellent food. I've visited several times, and they never disappoint. The pizza is not greasy or overly doughy—it's just genuinely delicious. While they offer more than just pizza, that’s certainly their main highlight. "Not my kind of place. Bar /tavern side had shrieking, raucous customers on a day when no one around. Really a tasting menu, teeny plates, teeny portions, poor value. Waitress told me that the green peppers in my mussel soup were mild- they were not and had to spit out with my mouth on fire. Truly embarassing when I was being treated. They did give me asparagus instead. Their only vegetable. They did not notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit on in the tavern/ bar area but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place if you eat high healthy protein and veggies like I do. I do not like to leave a restaurant feeling bloated with too much food but neither do I want to leave hungry. Their coffee was good after the meal."

"If I could give this place a zero, I/ we would. We had an AWFUL experience. We phoned in a takeout order and waited at the restaurant for over 40 minutes. Staff/ Service was not responsive when asked about our order numerous times while waiting. After waiting 40 mins, we had to leave and didn 't have more time to wait. The staff was unfriendly and nonresponsive when asking questions about my takeout order. While waiting for the order, we eventually had to go; I was told I could have it undercooked as they told me) and started to box up. I asked for my money back, and they wanted to give me a store credit. I 'm never planning on returning. It ruined our night when we tried to stop in to get an order. They were rude, and the place was not even busy, which they made us still wait. Save yourself and try somewhere else. There are plenty of other good choices on Main St. Who value their customers."

"I need to preface this review by saying I am a chef. The staff where attentive and friendly. The first red flag was the couple in the booth next to us walking out because they where told they couldn't share a dish (they stated that they had been ordering for years and this was the first time eating in but to no avail) mind you the portions are humongous. My friend's chicken was raw in the middle and the Lasagna I ordered was cold in the middle, the side of meatballs we ordered where prefab (frozen meatballs in a a bag) like I said I'm a chef. The supermarket frozen section food that they serve is also outrageously priced. My advice stay away or go to Stop Shop for the same experience at half the price."

"The food was wonderful. We were a party of seven and had appetizers, cocktails and meals. All were delicious! We enjoyed the candlelit ambiance and it was quiet enough for great conversation. Unfortunately, our waitress was terrible. Most at our table have worked in the restaurant industry at one point in our lives and our responses to our waitress ranged from disappointed to appalled. She made us feel rushed, rolled her eyes at us repeatedly and didn 't wait to get anyone 's attention before rattling off the specials. She didn 't clear the appetizer plates before the meal was served so there was little room for plates. She put almost all the meals in front of the wrong person which would be fine but then she argued with me when I told her it wasn 't what I ordered. She was insistent and snapped open her book to show me. She then realized it wasn 't my meal and wordlessly took it away. When the bill came, we asked to divide it evenly on credit cards. Her response? She literally said, Jesus! while rolling her eyes. Truly, the worst service I 've ever received. I still gave the experience high ratings because we chose not to let her ruin our night."
