Great service During the busiest part of a Saturday night and food was great!

Excellent food. We booked our reservation a week in advance and our table wasn't ready. We had to wait a long time for service to take our drink order and bring our drinks. Besides that, we enjoyed our food very much!

he was bad. not welcomed by waiting person for 15 minutes. we complained and after that our waitress was very nice and attentive. eating was ok, but the homemade pasta was excellent. they gave us free dessert to try to wait for earlier. they have instructed my credit card to the wrong amount they have corrected. Maybe it was a bad night. we give them another chance at some point because we really want to like this place.

our total experience in amandos was very pleasant. the room radiates great energy and warmth! the menu is quite extensive and if we asked if we could replace chickens for calf in the piccata dish, our server was very accommodating. salates were good and our escapes were beautiful and hot. the service was a bit slow, but I will praise the personal to recognize an inaccurate amount that sits next to our table when she clogs them with her eating up to go pockets. And an apology was made to the surrounding tables! would definitely stop it again. View menu

I had reservations for a high-top table, not realizing they were all in the bar area and it was a Saturday night, and very noisy in that section. I asked if we could be moved, and we were seated at a charming space by a window overlooking State Street. The server recommended the salad special, that was plenty for two. It tasted like spring with fresh greens and raspberries. I enjoyed a hearty serving of delicious meat lasagna (able to get another meal from it. My partner enjoyed the daily special of linguini in clam sauce with shrimp, mussels and cherrystone clams. He also had a chocolate lava cake dessert that was yummy. Overall, very pleasant experience.

I have been here before and really love the food but they REALLY have to work out the service issues if they are going to survive. I was there with a group and even tho it wasn't very busy, the waiter was MIA most of the night. The price point is high enough that the service should be better. That said, the food is amazing but this isn't the place I would go to if I didn't have 2 hours for dinner. We didn't get anchovies on our caesar salads (he said they had a new salad guy? um ok? yet we still got charged for anchovies. The food was wonderful. We were a party of seven and had appetizers, cocktails and meals. All were delicious! We enjoyed the candlelit ambiance and it was quiet enough for great conversation. Unfortunately, our waitress was terrible. Most at our table have worked in the restaurant industry at one point in our lives and our responses to our waitress ranged from disappointed to appalled. She made us feel rushed, rolled her eyes at us repeatedly and didn 't wait to get anyone 's attention before rattling off the specials.
