"ignore the negative reviews and try this place before they list it. my fiancé and I had an early Valentine's Day dinner here and had an explosion, we were served by annabelle and she was amazing! she kept our drinks filled, gave good talk, made sure our food service was over and beyond. server as they are the reason why we like to go out. She made us the date night unforgettable. evan was also fantastic, he was on him constantly keeping the dining area cleaned and ensuring that we had a good time. he even apologised us about a table that is inadmissible after others just left it was not creepy, it had only one fondue pot on it) we enjoyed the conversation we had with both and appreciate how hard they both worked tonight. we went one night here and I forgot the names of the young, but it was our first time here and he brought his camera and took a film photo for us. He explained how everything worked and suggested whenever he could. this place is great from food to folks. we recommend you to come here because they will always make good memories! eating is always good, how could it not be if they choose what they want and cook it themselves. we always get the four cursor meal for two, it is an experience that all in themselves with friendly staff who adds it. They even gave us a box of strawberries on the house to Valentine's Day. we have lived in michigan for about 4 months, so we have only been twice, but we are already telling others about the great time we have. it is worth every minute a penny here even after the two-hour experience we find our own enjoying the environment so much that we just sit longer and talk to everyone."

"I visited Firebirds for my birthday dinner with my husband, and our waitress, Heather, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The meal was generally good. I ordered the filet and shrimp; while the filet wasn't cooked to my liking at first, they kindly took it back and prepared it again. The shrimp could have been served hotter, but it was still delicious. I also had the scalloped potatoes, which were very good and had a nice sharp flavor that I enjoyed. My husband ordered the salmon, which he said was excellent, although the baked potato wasn’t fully cooked. Heather took care of that by sending it back, but it was still underdone upon return. Overall, I would rate the food at 4.5 out of 5. I had a pineapple martini that was very tasty, and we received a complimentary dessert, which I believe was tiramisu cheesecake—it was excellent. Firebirds has always been a bit on the pricey side, but I believe you get what you pay for. This wasn’t our first experience at the restaurant, so we knew what to expect. Overall, I would definitely dine there again."

"Good food but not great like it used to be. Understand that Melting Pot has had to become more mainstream dining rather than the more specialized experience it used to be but this location didn’t have enough staff to support even a few tables doing the Big Night Out which used to be a staple of going there. End result was 3.5 hours to get through our dinner, one of the steak pieces was frozen in the center so it wouldn’t cook in the fondue, and got our drinks only refilled once in all that time. Waiter was trying but clearly overwhelmed. Sad that a place that was a great date night is now basically chili’s with fondue that takes hours. A meal should be better."

"This was my first time at a Melting Pot restaurant. The menu was overwhelming at first but our server John was so helpful. We were also able to modify our proteins since we do not eat salmon. We did the Wednesday night 4 course dinner. 1) Wisconsin Cheddar Fondue- amazing! 2) salads- mom has the house salad and I had the spinach salad. We both enjoyed! 3) We opted for the grilled cooking. It was fun to cook the food. They put a lot of seasoning on the chicken and steak. I didn't mind it but some was too peppery for my mom. 4) chocolate fondue- we did the yin yang which was white and milk chocolate. LOVED IT! There is a lot of food in the 4 courses, plus with the fondue the dip ins are bottomless, so come hungry! John, our server, was very attentive and extremely helpful! He kept checking in which was great. Fyi, if you stay at Hyatt House next door, you can also get a 10% off voucher. (Just ask at Hyatt House reception."

"This is my third time dining at Andrea. I Ordered the mushroom Parmesan risotto served table side, the brussel spouts and the prosciutto salad with roasted pieces of artichoke and row. The salad was balanced with flavors of the salty prosciutto, nuts, arugula, red reddish and roasted artichoke hearts. This was by fare the best part of the meal. The mushroom Parmesan rissoto mixed in the large Parmesan wheel of cheese was lacking in flavor and dimension. All I could taste was the salty Parmesan cheese, it was overkill and very one dimensional. It was also served and scooped into a small unattractive stainless steel cooking pan. This was way over hyped and greatly lacking, tasting more like a cheap mix box from the store with an overdose of salty cheese. The charred Brussel sprout were also very one dimensional with a strong sweet flavor. The texture of the sprouts and char was perfect but it was very sweet and under salted. The birthday desert they brought me was terrible and childish with pieces of sugar coated jelly and an orange chocolate truffle. The desert was extremely sugary and cheap in quality. In addition we were seated on the patio overlooking the resort. We experienced a strong stench of cigarette smoke for several minutes and then the couple next to us ordered the most fishy smelling fish I have ever smelled as the very strong fish smell filled the patio area. The table was also wobbly and small and the uncomfortable chairs loudly scraped along the ground every time a person moved on the patio. The patio seating was very cramped with hardly any walking room and the noise level made it difficult to walk."

"Our server, Savannah, was excellent. She was attentive without hovering and was very knowledgeable about the menu including allergens that could be present. She was pleasant and engaging as well. The food was beyond our expectations. The cheese fondue (spinach artichoke) was out of this world and the selection of “dippers” left us wanting for nothing. Our main course was scrumptious including the superior quality of the meat and fish, the perfect amount of seasoning in both the broth and on the proteins. If dessert can be summed up in one word it could only be extraordinary. And I mean that in the very definition of the word they took ordinary sweets including chocolate chip cookie bites, Rice Krispie treats, pound cake, bananas, strawberries and marshmallows and elevated them to the “extra” level of perfection. The chocolate/marshmallow/Oreo fondue was bowl-lickingly decadent. One note of advice: order LESS than what you think you’ll eat. It was a LOT of food!!!!! The entire experience was nothing short of fabulous. Highly, highly recommend"

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"We always like the food. There is always sooo much to eat!Service was not prompt. Every time we asked for something it took at least minutes to get it. Asked for a specific wine and it took the waiter minutes to tell us it wasn't available. The next wine took minutes to arrive. Asked for more bread for the cheese fondue and it took minutes to arrive. Asked for an additional amount of sauce for the meat and it took minutes to arrive. Took the waiter a long time to bring the bill and then put it on the credit card as well. We understand that there was no rush because the tables were not turning over, but in the past it took hours this time hours"

"I visited Burger and Sushi, also known as BASH, for the first time. The interior is quite spacious, featuring a lovely bar at the front and plenty of tables. There's even a full sushi bar towards the back, which was a pleasant surprise! I ordered a sashimi platter along with a roll, and everything was fresh and tasty. The cold, unfiltered sake complemented the meal perfectly. The service was excellent as well. I will definitely return!"

"We stopped in while vacationing. The place is beautiful. We were exhausted from a full day. Otherwise we would have had another drink and sat by the many fire pits. We ordered the cider but it was not very tasty. We had one down the street at the brewery that was so flavorful it ended up making this one disappointing. "From the start, not a good experience. The sign at front says to wait to be seated. Nobody approached or said they 'd be right over. We approached the bar to say we had reservations and the guy threw a menu at us. We took a seat outside on the patio. There were only two other tables of patrons, but one was a large party. It took forever to get a drink and then food order in. Drinks came out quickly, but food took about an hour. For a burger and a pasta dish. They didn 't tell us until we got up to walk out that they 'd put the large group order in first and that we 'd have to wait. They also came by the table once prior to us getting up to say it 'd be just a few more minutes (lie! . About another 20 min later food arrived. My requested medium rare burger was more than well done. I ate it anyway because it was late and I was starving. They insisted on cooking me another....also over cooked. They did end up comping the food which is the least I would have expected, but service was terrible due to lack of communication. There were never more than 3 tables of patrons at a time and maybe 3-4 people at the bar with multiple staff walking around. It 's unfortunate because the space is cute and would be great to enjoy in warmer weather. It was also a Saturday, so shouldn 't have been an off or slow day."

"Fleetwood had all the right elements? California cuisine, local purveyors, welcoming and attentive staff. Unfortunately the delivery was underwhelming in a region with such a high bar. For example, the cocktails were ok, but sweet. The wines were nondescript, leaning toward sweet as well. The food was a menagerie of styles. The caesar salad was two quarters of romaine, charred with large shavings of Parmesan, anchovies and toast, but was grossly under dressed (I would have put extra dressing on the plate under the lettuce). The steak, which was prepared perfectly medium rare, was paired with creamy gnocchi, cremini mushrooms (supposed to be hen of the wood?s mushrooms), and snap peas were all well prepared, but also disjointed and didn?t play well together. Fleetwood has all the right components, it just fell short of its potential."

"My husband and I loved our experience at Good Vibes! We got there coincidentally at happy hour, so we both ordered a drink. We got the queso appetizer and it was so flavorful, creamy, and delicious. We did run out of chips as they don’t give you many, but they brought more at our request. For dinner my husband got two birria tacos and two shrimp tacos. He was full after eating just the birria ones, so we took the shrimp ones home with us. I ordered 1 lb of snow crab with melted butter. It was PERFECT. Seriously so delicious and cooked perfectly. I made a mess but I enjoyed every bite. If we didn’t live in another state, we’d be coming back again and again! The only negative of our experience was our server always seemed to be elsewhere (this was a Tuesday night and the restaurant was not busy at all), so we felt like we were bothering him when we needed to get his attention. Other than that, our experience was flawless!"

"We went once after the opening and had a nice breakfast. We sent my wife's birthday breakfast this Monday, and I'm here to tell you that it was the best breakfast experience I ever had in Grand Rapids. The staff was great, but I tell you what really shines: the potatoes (2 ways). The Bacon. Coffee. The commandments. Let me start with the first... In most places the potatoes are a reflection, but these potatoes were served with crazy love! The Bacon! This is the bacon that all the other bacon seeks to be. The coffee is excellent! "I had the worst burger I've ever eaten at this restaurant! It was seriously undercooked, even though I specifically ordered it medium. They slathered on way too much sauce, turning it into an inedible mess. I called to report my experience, and the female manager on duty did apologize, which I appreciated. However, her solution was to offer me a $10 gift card to compensate for the $25 I wasted. It's a shame because I remember this place being really good in the past, so maybe they've changed their kitchen staff? Regardless, I won't be returning."

"Given Veges enough for 1 person mushrooms were not in 1piece 4 slices of zucchini 4 wedges of potatoes and mushrooms that were not in full caps. Asked if we could have some more mushrooms plus vegetables….later found out there would be a charge. Our bill with tip 317 ….. you’d think they could absorb the cost of a box of mushrooms 4slices of zucchini and 4 potato wedges. Plus table was not wiped down between courses Unfortunately when we called tempers flared and the person at restaurant hung up. Over priced for what was served!!!!!!"
