"I had seen online that they offered breakfast, so I wanted to check them out due to my love for breakfast sandwiches (especially bacon, egg, and cheese). While the sandwich was good, it took a minute for someone to acknowledge me when I knew I was there to have a table and not just pick something up to go. Food-wise, the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was good on a croissant. I wasn't the biggest fan of the breakfast potatoes, which made me feel a little queasy, so I stopped eating them. But the sandwich was good, and I could order it with an extra slice of bacon, which was satisfying. Price-wise, it was reasonable, considering most order-out places for breakfast at various coffee houses and donut shops run high. The iced coffee was solid and refreshing, so I ordered a refill. Service-wise could have been better as most of the staff clearly serving tables didn't want to acknowledge me to be seated somewhere. I finally sat at the bar, where one of the staff trying to organize items in the cooler display saw me and let me know he would be right with me. He at least did his best, as it looked like he wasn't supposed to cover the bar, but he wanted to ensure I was served. He had his hands full as others came to the bar to be served, but he managed to ensure I had what I needed. Overall, the experience was alright; the sandwich and iced coffee were good. But not sure I would bring people here for brunch on a Sunday."

"I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was here. It tasted better than just your typical diner. Pancakes were large, buttery and soft, same goes for the french toast. County fried chicken was delicious with the sausage gravy and chicken and waffle was great with a perfectly fried piece of boneless chicken breast paired with a buttery waffle. Would come back."

"I've been to old causeway on numerous occasions and the food never disappoints. Most of the time when I go I sit at the bar and never have an issue with the service. However, I got seated at a table at 8pm on a Tuesday after waiting about 45 minutes. I have never felt more rushed and uncomfortable by my waitress along with the food runners. While our appetizers were out they came around a couple times to ask if we were done and if they could clear our plates to which we said no. Our entrees came out while our apps were still out. They came around again, and started picking up our oyster plate while I literally had my oyster in my hand. While we were eating our entrees they came around a few times asking if they could clear our plates both the busboys and our own waitress and we were clearly still eating. I was picking on my french fries (which my amazing lobster roll came with so many) at the end of the meal to the point where when they came back a 4th time I let them take it, mid-eating my french fries. We ended up ordering dessert and another round of drinks at the end and you could tell their annoyance with that too. The waitress came and took the salt pepper shakers and basically took everything off our table until we were ready to ask for the check. Our waitress didnt even take a minute to grab it, she already had her check in her back pocket ready to give it to us. We got the hint she wanted us to leave (it was 10pm). Just upsetting because I've never had such rushed service before for a restaurant that closes at midnight and our waitress was waiting other tables in her section still."

"Came here for a late lunch/early dinner. As the timing was a bit off I thought I might be disappointed but nooo! Upon arrival you notice this is an older establishment but homey all the same. We each ordered margaritas. Hubs ordered the blended strawberry and I ordered the skinny on the rocks, extra lime. We ordered entrees at same time as drinks as we were starving. Drinks arrived within minutes of hearing the blender working its magic. While we were both enjoying our drinks our food had arrived. Eric had the cheese crisp with carne asada and I had the quesadilla José with shrimp. The cheese crisp had guacamole on the side and my entree had sour cream on the side. Both entrees were delicious, lots of shrimp in the quesadilla and plenty of cheese, the crisp was nice and crispy and plenty of carne asada marinated to perfection, nice and tender. The service was quick and efficient and all staff were came in to contact with seemed cheerful. We will be back to try other menu options."

"I recently visited the restaurant and ordered a burrito, specifically asking for no cheese and no pico de gallo. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found both ingredients in my order. I called the restaurant to alert them of the mistake, and they agreed to prepare a new burrito for me, but only after confirming that I hadn't eaten the incorrect one, which I hadn't. I then had to wait an hour and a half for the replacement to arrive. When it finally did, it was cold and missing the sour cream I had paid an extra $2 for. To add to my frustration, after eating the burrito, I felt nauseous. Overall, I was extremely disappointed, especially since I spent $15 on a meal that felt more like it was worth $8. I don't plan on returning, although I will say that the green salsa was quite good."

"I'm coming to brightwaters deli, but I'm done now. in recent years the pricing has completely overpriced for base-deli sandwiches. it is laughing how much their sandwiches cost. especially if you consider that you cannot get a simple order right. So they pay 2x the price of a normal Deli sandwich and more than 1/2 of the time it is not even the right order. Previously I was the best place to get a sandwich, now I travel 15 minutes to get a sandwich at gemelli in Babylon."

"I had a fantastic Roman veggie breakfast and will definitely be going back. The service was great as well. That was my experience eight months ago. However, I've returned several times since then, and the food has consistently rated about 8.5/10. Unfortunately, we've had the same server, Phyllis, on multiple occasions, and her service has been rather disappointing. She comes off as a bit careless and often forgets things, plus she doesn't acknowledge the generous tips we leave. I think it might be best for her to take a break."

"For the price, they didn’t get the little things right. We arrived promptly for a reservation and were seated after about a min wait and a decent walk at the end of the lawn closest to the beach. Not sure what the wait was since only about half the tables were occupied. We were sat in a table right in the beating sun, despite all other diners being in the shade. After about mins being uncomfortably hot and waiting for a staff member I flagged down a server, and asked to move tables. He asked we not move and went on the long walk to get our server. Again, only about half the tables were occupied so I am not sure if the shady tables were reserved for more important diners. After dripping in my own sweat, the beer I ordered (tropical wheat) was not available and the waitress stated she was unsure why it was even on the menu since it hadn’t been served in a long time. The rest of the beer menu was unexceptional. Even the Flying Fish Tavern Ale I ordered was average despite the brewery generally producing excellent stuff. Crab soup was ok but a bit thin on crab, and lobster lasagna well made but every bite tasted identical and there were no sides to break the monotony. Cape Resorts you can do better. We dined at the Ebbitt Room earlier in the week and small amount more in pricing got us a step change in dining experience."

"Grape was great! We went to Grape shortly after it opened, about a year ago. It was not busy then, and this time there was only one other customer while we were there for a 1:15 lunch. I don’t get it. The food was great both times; the prices are very very reasonable; the building is quite new, stylish, and comfortable; the service is great; and the owner knows his stuff. Best BLT’s ever! All four of us thought these things and are puzzled by the lack of customers. I hope this undiscovered gem can hang on until it gets discovered. I know it will be far sooner than a year when we go back this time."

"I have been to brunch on several occasions. This time my overall experience was disappointing. Bread was cold, croissants and biscuits should have been let in a warmer. The large number of Flies were very unsanitary and distracting on both the buffet and at our table. The uncovered shrimp veggies, fruit, shrimp and dips were a feast for the flies. At one time we counted five flies at our table. Throughout the meal we had to swap flies off us and our food. Each time someone left the table their food and dinks had to be covered from the flies. My husband was told a door was left opened the day before. This should have been taking care of before the restaurant opened. I could not enjoy my meal and did not take any item that was uncovered on the buffet. We were a party of six. My three grandsons made a game out of swatting the flies. To spend 300.00 for brunch and not able to enjoy my meal was a big disappointment. I sincerely hope management read this review."

"Yes 5 all the way. As I was observing Our waiter and other waiters/waitresses are very nice to their customers. It's quite a drive but a place I would love to dine in again. I fell in love with the chicken wings , I got a breaded bone in wings in a killer beesting sauce. I didn't know they have a 5 wings for 5 dollar night on Wednesdays. I went last night with the family. One of my daughters ordered a gluten free burger and she was happy to be able to eat a burger with a bun. And everyone else enjoyed their dinner."
