"We had a date night and decided to try this $3 Cafe for the first time, located off the Chamblee Tucker exit from 285 South. After taking the exit, we turned right, and the shopping mall was immediately on our right, with the $3 Cafe nestled next to a pool hall. At first glance, the cafe looked great from the outside, complete with a balcony and a solid music selection. Upon entering, we were greeted by walls adorned with billboards showcasing drink and food specials. The place mainly featured highboy tables, though there were some regular-sized tables nearer to the front, along with an upstairs balcony area that, unfortunately, was too hot to utilize during a Georgia summer. The atmosphere was pleasant, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, allowing the staff to support each other, contributing to the overall warmth of the experience. There were TVs playing sports, adding to the lively environment. Now, let’s talk about the food—it was fantastic! We ordered the sampler, which was so generously sized that we couldn’t finish it all. The chicken tenders were moist, tender, and downright delicious. The mozzarella sticks were enormous, almost comically so, and the wings were great too. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of food, and the nachos were nothing short of amazing. Everything was served on a small tray, giving us plenty of room to make a mess if needed! Although we didn't try the drinks, I have no doubt they are just as good as the food. The music ranged from “Royals” to “Rocket Man” to Bone Thugs, showcasing a wonderfully eclectic playlist that covered every genre, including country. I really enjoyed it! The bathrooms are located at the end of the bar. I’d love to return since I enjoyed the food so much, and now I know exactly what I want to order next time. Check out my pictures for more details!"
