"I used to be a big fan of this local spot, but my feelings are starting to change with each visit. To be fair, our server and the food were excellent, as always! However, I have two complaints from tonight. First, I've been coming here for years, but the glass my "Texas Margarita" was served in tonight was disappointingly small. I remember when it used to come in a taller glass. I had just four sips and the drink was gone! Please stop shortchanging customers on drink sizes. The second issue that really bothered me was seeing the bartender eating at the bar while making drinks. She didn’t wash her hands even once after putting food in her mouth! That’s really unappetizing. Even though she isn’t handling food directly, her hands still touch the rims of glasses, and I don’t want her unwashed hands contaminating my drink. If you’re hungry, please take a break to eat — don’t eat while making drinks. With so many health concerns out there, it’s frustrating to see staff being so careless. Remember, there are always customers watching!"

Honestly the only thing that keeps this place in business is the food and beer selection.

This morning, I decided to treat myself and sat down at the bar. A staff member welcomed me almost right away. I ordered the fried pickles, and they...

Our visit didn't quite meet our usual expectations. We ordered kicked pimps as an appetizer but never received them. When we asked about it, the waitress instead brought us a side dish... View menu

The Three-Dollar Café is always a fantastic spot to relax and socialize. Although the menu items and drinks can be a bit expensive, they feature live DJs outside several nights a week, which enhances the vibrant atmosphere.

Caiden was our server, and he was both prompt and courteous. The entire staff was friendly as well. The Korean BBQ sandwich was fantastic and definitely worth stopping by the café for. The appetizer sampler was also a great choice, with generous portions perfect for sharing.

Update: The manager returned my call and informed me that I could bring the food back for a remake. However, they didn't offer any refund, discount, or alternative compensation. Upon seeing the food, the manager merely shook his head and apologized. Both the food and customer service were very disappointing. I cannot recommend this restaurant. View menu

Three Dollar Cafe has always been one of my favorite spots, and I'm excited that a location has finally opened in McDonough. My favorite dishes are the wings and Buffalo shrimp, both of which are absolutely delicious. I've noticed that lunch tends to be quite calm, but they mentioned that dinner hours can get pretty busy. I highly recommend giving them a try, and if you do, be sure to let them know that Eric Berry from Fathom Realty sent you!

Between us, the four people at my table ordered wings, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, a meatball sub, and a grilled grouper sandwich. Sides were salad, fries, sweet potato fries, and Mac and cheese. We all had nothing but good things to say the fishsandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The sweet tea is home brewed, not a mix. The service was friendly and timely. Theprices are terrific. Definitely need to come again if I am in the area. Edit 5/24/22, driving through the area and stoppedfor food. Took pics this time! The food was just as good as last time. ???? The squash casserole was delicious!
