"My husband and I decided to stop here for a late afternoon lunch after spending the day in the Rockies. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer, and both of our meals were excellent. The portions were generous and quite filling—I could barely finish half of mine! The prices were also quite reasonable. Our waiter was friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. All in all, it was definitely worth the stop!"

"At Famous Dave's, I was disappointed with the 'ribs and meat' combo meal, which costs $18 and only includes three ribs. You also get two small sides, but overall, it felt like a huge letdown—especially when I ordered it with the 'burnt ends.' While the ribs were tender, the burnt ends tasted overly sweet due to the heavy sauce, and frankly, they were just cubed brisket without any of that delicious crust you expect from true burnt ends. Very disappointing. My wife had the pulled chicken sandwich, which she found fine, but nothing memorable. For over $30 for two people, there’s really not enough here to make us want to return. If you’re hesitant to try anything other than chain restaurants, I’d recommend Smokey Bones over Famous Dave's any day."

"We took friends out for a fun dinner. Everyone in our group loves bbq and the night didn’t disappoint. From a rack of ribs, burnt ends, catfish, brisket and sides to drinks and desserts, the night was enjoyable! Service was great in the bar area seating."

"Host (Sultan) was unfamiliar with OpenTable and could not find my reservation. He was ready to seat me despite the fact that I wouldn’t have received OT credit. I asked to speak to a Manager, who could not have been nicer. My server Danielle was terrific. She was friendly and promptly brought drink refills. My food came out quickly and she checked in with me regularly. The Manager also stopped by my table multiple times. All in all, the food was good and I would return."

"Food was good, as it always is at any Famous Dave's we visit. Bartender could not make a proper Manhattan, though. She used dry vermouth instead of sweet vermouth. I would not go back there again. But we will definitely be back at our regular Famous Dave's in Oswego IL this Friday"

"I was really disappointed with the management in that NO reservation accommodations were made for our Holiday dinner. I call ahead and was told all the reservations had to be made with Kenny and when our group arrived the staff had NO instructions about the pre-organized sitting. The only priority I had asked for is one group seating in the side room. Our group was crammed into groupings and we were uncomfortably close together. Very frustrating because there was only ONE family in the back room so with a minute of staff communication it could have been ideal. We asked about the arrangements and the on duty manager had no idea and made clear she had NO instructions about our group. When the food came out, the carriers just yelled out the order, no idea to whom the food belonged. My personal experience with the Cajun Chicken Sandwich was the chicken was so hard only a couple bites were possible and the service was so hectic it seemed impossible to return without further affecting the service my friends were receiving. Famous Daves is good with two people but lesson learned on twenty two people. Holiday dinner is our only gift to our team and this year our gift was not at all what we had hoped."

"we went to a Saturday night we had a reservation, so they knew we were coming. it wasn't crowded, but our stand was full of dirty, as well as standing with another. we had to wait for them to clear it. when they sat, the two had eaten on them. but the server was great and eating was good. we enjoyed our meal. I would return and give them another chance."

"Ouch! wasn't sure if I had rib tips or cracks. sad to say, this FD visit will think twice that this place has good barbecue facilities. at the beginning, the telephone order was slow. I almost made it to the restaurant before they pick up my order. then I had to order another meal and that went as smooth as sandpaper. the host was very human, but I did not get any utensils with my to GO order. difficult to eat a meal in my hotel without forks, etc. my wife is not happy with her cat, seemed to be overcooked. I am very glad that I had a hard busy day and decided to buy a few beers (I probably two 6 packings per year) before I ate my meal. without the beer I may have thrown my food in the garbage"

"We recently dined at Famous Dave's during the first week of restaurants being allowed to open at 50% capacity. The management took advantage of the closure to remodel the restaurant, adding more comfortable booths. The entry and ordering area has been redesigned with social distancing in mind. All staff are wearing masks and we observed frequent cleaning throughout our visit. Silverware, napkins, and packaged wipes are provided in a plastic wrapping for added safety. The food was delicious and served hot, leaving us feeling reassured about dining out with these safety measures in place. While we have also been getting takeout during Covid, we appreciate Famous Dave's for setting high standards and hope they continue to uphold them. Thank you for a great dining experience."

"Had a short lunch today on the road back from vacation. Iced tea was splendid and fresh. Got a turkey sandwich, they went really conservative on the garlic butter which made it a touch dry, but nothing some sweet bbq sauce couldn't fix. Got a side of fried squash, which was as good as I remember and in a generous portion. Service was prompt and friendly. I know I'm about 10 years too late for this, but I would really prefer the toast to be texas toast with sesame seeds instead of the square sandwich bread. I miss the old days."

"On 12/30/2021 I scheduled a pickup order for 12/31/2021 at 4:30pm. On the day, I was told my order wasn't ready, that they were a little behind. I wouldn't have minded waiting 15-20 minutes. But I received my order 1hr and 20 min later, which seems a little extreme given that I had scheduled a pickup. In addition, I ordered the All Am. BBQ Feast, but there was no Brisket, it was all ribs, and the ribs weren't even ready because they were very tough. For $103.97, I expected better quality food, and the food I originally ordered. I have already left my comments on the online form (twice) and no one has even tried to contact me. This is ridiculous and I really wanted to rate a 0 but the lowest I can give is 1 star."

"Absolutely loved this place! We were visiting the area from Oklahoma and definitely will have to eat here when we go back to Branson. "New Montana Location Review. Recently visited. Restaurant was busy. The service received for a busy night was phenomenal! The server was on every detail. When she was helping other tables, other servers stopped by to help in her place. That staff was well trained for exceptional customer service and worked as a team. Amazing team concept. The food came out fast and it was pipping HOT! This little FD establishment dishes out Big Time Service and Quality Food. A must! You won’t believe it until you experience it. I’m going back soon!"

"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I had no expectations going in. The service was excellent; I didn’t even need to ask for salt and pepper as they were brought to us right away. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Our booth was comfortable, and we enjoyed nice views. I also appreciated being able to see the large TV on the wall nearby. The atmosphere felt cozy. The food was delicious, and I liked how the menu was straightforward. Their three combo options allow you to select up to three meats and two sides, offering a variety of choices without being too overwhelming. I ordered the Southwest Rib Tips as one meat, along with green beans and fries as my sides. It was quite a bit of food, so I brought leftovers home to enjoy later. Overall, it’s a wonderful place, and we will definitely return."

"This place was great!  Stopped in yesterday for lunch, and you could smell the wood smoked meats as soon as you walked in the door.  I had the smoked turkey sandwich with a side of slaw and some iced tea.  The counter help was very friendly and offered good advice on the food choices.  I just wished I was hungrier so I could try more offerings.  The place was also decorated really cool too, and one thing I liked was that there was a sink in the dining room, so you could wash your hands really fast before eating without having to head into the bathroom, that was cool."

"The Florence, KY location has its ups and downs mainly due to management changes and menu changes. The last 2 times we went to Famous Dave 's the food was disappointing. Over cooked, dried out and cold. Tonight 's visit was an exception. The ribs were delicious as well as the sides. They actually brought back our favorite fries that had been previously changed on the menu. Thank you Famous Dave 's! Our waiter, Famous Eric was excellent. Knowledgeable of the menu, helpful with suggestions and attentive to service. We still do not understand why management removed the sugars and ketchup from table making you ask for them?"

"I will never order from this restaurant again. After calling right when the restaurant opened at 11 o'clock for a 12 o'clock pick up, the order was 50 minutes late. On top of that when I called to check on the order to see why it wasn't ready because I had a friend picking it up, I was hung up on four times. Twice they put me on hold, only never to return and eventually the phone disconnected. When I finally refused to be put on hold and talk to an actual person they were the rudest rudest person ever."
