"The service was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Louisiana chicken and the chicken Caesar salad. However, the payment process was quite amusing. I had a $25 gift card along with $10 in cash, but they didn’t have any cash to give me change at 1 PM! I can't quite understand that. The government keeps printing money, which diminishes the dollar's value, and I've traveled through seven western states without encountering any cash shortages. After some time, I think the manager finally found a key or something to get some cash for change."

"Omgosh, my husband and I ordered the recording. We have the best ribbeds and pumices. And bread sticks with white diving sauce. Lord! Mercy the breadsticks and white diving sauce for so delicious that we get each our own order later at night and we ate them for dinner. Best bread sticks and white diving sauce, whatever this sauce was to collect the compliments and they were the most delicious I've ever eaten in my whole life if you have the chance to go to Applebee's and get bread sticks and white sauce to dip it, I'm not sure if it was a cheese sauce or Alfredo sauce with cheese but it wasn't me!"

"The food at this restaurant was excellent. I ordered grilled chicken breast with potatoes and broccoli, which was delicious. My husband had a cheeseburger with fries and he said it was the best burger he had in a long time. We will definitely be returning to Applebee's in Fairfield. The service was also fantastic, especially during our usual visit between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The restaurant is not too crowded during those hours. Thank you Applebee's for providing us with good food and great service today."

"I went here with my friends on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at around 6 PM. We were brought to a booth and immediately greeted with a bad attitude from our server, who’s name I believe was Lily A. We had asked to split the check just a minute after we said not to, because we had a money issue. She proceeded to tell us off, saying that we can’t and it’s our issue because we didn’t say it at first. Throughout the whole time we were there, she would always come back and show disrespect. Once we ordered, she waved her hand, motioning for us to hand her the menus with a glare on her face. We only ordered two dishes to split between the four of us because we were not that hungry, and just were eager to get out of there after seeing her attitude. Every time she would walk away from our seats, she would stare one of us down, giving us a nasty look. I am beyond disappointed with the service at this location and will certainly never be coming back."

"Our service was terrible. Our waitress acted like she had no idea what was on 1/2 the menu and claimed (openly) that the other half was not worth eating. The lights in the restaurant were kept so low i had to use the flash light on my cell to even readthe menu. To say the food quality was poor is an understatement. Parts of the meal were brought out cold, others were cookedwrong, etc. I'd not eaten at applebee's for several years prior to this and was hoping the food had improved. I should haveknown better. We would have been much better off going to McDonald's."

"We had gone for dinner yesterday to Applebee's. I had the Bourbon Steak, my husband the large Rib order and appetizer to go, everything was very enjoyable. But what made the evening so special! was the kindness, thoughtfulness and respect for Veterans, received from a lovely family. They paid our tab and came over to thank my husband for his military service (Marine Corp). It iwas so gratifying and made our evening even more special since unbeknown to them it also happened to be our Anniversary of 53 year's. I hope they read this review and learn how touched we were by their courtesy and generosity. I also sincerely wish to thank Applebee's for the well deserved recognition they extend to our Armed Forces!!A heart felt, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO ALL VETERANS!!!"

"The food was terrible. The spinach artichoke dip had no flavor and the consistency was very thin. The mac and cheese has zero flavor. The pasta was overdone and gummy in two pasta dishes and a side (all of it) that we got. If I want to eat something gummy I’d go get some candy. The only flavor on the chicken penne dish was the tomatoes. The chicken was over done and blackened when we specifically didn’t select the blackened choice. Unless it was a dirty grill and it made it dark grey. The breadsticks were over baked and dark brown. I used to love Applebees but I don’t know what they’ve done to their food. The burger was decent I suppose but it’s very hard to mess up a burger and fries. Overall extremely dissatisfied with our meals that we paid 60 for. Way too much to spend on terrible food. We will not be back here again. There aren’t a ton of decent restaurants in Ashtabula and this adds to that list. Spend your money somewhere else (at one of the few good places) don't waste it here."

"Food was awful. I vomited when I got home (I got the Fiesta lime chicken) and it was very bad. There was no flavor and the chicken was raw in the middle, so I just didnt eat anything else because I was nauseous. My friend got a pasta dish and the sauce was supposed to be a 5 cheese sauce but tasted like garbage. So our waitresses took her food back and then she tried the sirloin steak, also terrible. Still no flavor, barely any seasonings.. Applebee's use to be good, but its gone downhill and it's just not enjoyable anymore. But our waitress was very awesome and friendly."

"First time coming here with friends in a while. We were all hungry and ready to have a good time. We get seated in a cramped section, our drink order is taken fairly quickly but from there, it all went downhill. Our drinks took over 10 minutes to arrive, only one alcoholic beverage, the rest were fountain drinks. The server put down the tray with drinks on it and walked away. We removed the drinks ourselves and shortly after he threw (not an exaggeration) legitimately threw straws on the table and said he would be back shortly. 8 minutes go by, we’ve been sitting here for nearly 20 minutes and no food order taken. At this point we decided to cut our loses and just pay for drinks. The server acted confused but as I observed, clearly treated other patrons with slightly more respect. We went to the diner down the road and the customer service was immediately better than this Applebees. I’d avoid"

"My husband ordered the 4 cheese Mac n cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders. The tenders flavor was so good. The Mac would have been decent, but they poured the brown honey pepper flavor over the white Mac n cheese, and it tasted like pure sugar and not nice. I got the salmon, which was great, but the sides were horrible. I shared with my 13 month old and the brocolli had tablespoons of salt on it. My baby loves brocolli, and he made a face when puttimg it in his mouth. I tried it and spit it out. It was that bad. My server didn't get me a lemonade refill, and it was $4, and I didn't check on how the food was, so I didn't mention the brocolli. The garlic mash tasted like boxed mash potatoes, really watery. For those 2 meals, I wouldn't recommend it for $48."

"We brought our grandchildren to dinner today, October 8th, 2023. After ordering drinks - 2 sodas, 2 teas, and 1 chocolate milk - we were informed that they were out of everything we had requested. When we asked if our 6-year-old granddaughter could have penne noodles with her meal, as that was all she wanted, we were denied. We ended up spending $80 and found the management at this location to be both incompetent in ordering supplies and rude. The service for dine-in was disappointing overall."

"Hello there I wish to share a concern As a long time customer of this franchise in Davison Mi. Over 25 years now . Twice in the last month when asked By the same 2 gentlemen at the front door where we would like to sit i stated booth not by the window as its cold and drafty by the window -8f outside and hardly any heat in the window section And both times we Were placed by the window. The first time I blew it off tonight when one of the same young gentleman took me over to the same exact spot same booth by the window. I looked at him and pointed to the half empty seating in the center of the restaurant and said no id like to sit there he stated/ We have no servers for that area ,really because there's 2 servers there now serving 3 tables Ok whatever with in 10 minutes of being placed at the cold window seating I look over and he seats 3 more tables where I wanted to sit . At this point I'm fuming and almost walked out but to salvage my night out with my wife . I let it go . I am at a loss as to why your door greeters or whatever there title is have zero clue what customer service is about . When asked where to sit when I state booth not by the window I expect to be seated not by the window and not lied to about why I cannot sit where clearly there are open tables and plenty of available servers . This is not even during the busy rush of prime dinner time . Clearly the Davison Mi. Store Greeters Need training in customer service or customer relations . The servers cooks on the other hand all do an outstanding job . But you need to address the two Young gentlemen that greet you at the door and take you to your seating. Until this lack of customer service is addressed I will not be returning to Applebee's to spend my hard earned money to sit in a freezing booth near the window .When on both occasions I requested not to be placed there ."
