"We had an outstanding experience. Our server was incredibly helpful and a delightful person, and the two managers who helped us were very good. I can't praise enough how great they were. Additionally, they have upped the good and while it used to be good, now is fantastic and the portions are perfect. We never ran out of anything during the fondue experience. "As always, the food is great and exactly what you expect at the melting pot. However, every trip we make to this restaurant starts off on a difficult note with the hostess. No matter how close you are to your reservation time, no matter how many empty tables they have, you always have to wait at least 10 minutes for them to finish their conversation, tidy up their papers, and finally get around to seating you. We thought that perhaps we were having one off experiences, but this has happened for the last three visits. Different times of day, different hosts hostesses. We said something to the manager this trip just to provide some friendly feedback, and I guess we must’ve offended the staff because our service went from excellent to poor after that conversation. We love fondue, but feel it’s time for us to go on a break! As long as you have plenty of time, give the melting pot a try. "

"My wife and I were looking for a place off the Vegas strip to enjoy breakfast/brunch, so we checked opentable and thought Whist, Stove Spirits would be a great place to try based on the wide variety of menu items that caught our attention (White Chocolate Walnut French Toast, Chorizo Frittata, Crabby in the Morning, Duck Hash and Eggs). As a result, we booked a table for 8:00am in the morning. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, it appears as though the restaurant was not actually serving any food until 1000 or 1100 AM. The bartender apologized for the inconvenience and stated there had been a management change, couldn’t believe opentable allowed the reservation, but checked the kitchen to see if food could be made; he stated only the late night menu was available because the chefs were not in yet. The bartender apologized again before we left. If we are ever in Las Vegas again, we will definitely call ahead to see if they are open because we really wanted to try numerous items from their menu."

"Wow! What an amazing first tine experience! Having been a server when I was younger (my husband as well), we rarely say that servers have done an outstanding job. But Richard DID! He was outstanding! We were very impressed with him, his knowledge, and his service. He was personable and a pleasure as a server. Everyone knows that the food can be amazing but the service can ruin it. He just made it that much better. On to the food... it was so good! It did not let down. We have heard great things about this restaurant and just haven't gone. It was very worth it! We both had a 4 course meal and it was an experience like no other. I loved that we got to cook the meats. It made for a great fondue date night HIGHLY recommend! We decided to go with the basic stuff as a starting point and it was a good choice. We can't wait to go back and be a little more adventurous with our choices on cheeses and chocolates next time!"

"It was our first visit to The Melting Pot, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our server was very attentive and made some wonderful recommendations. She suggested the Quattro Formaggio cheese fondue, which turned out to be an excellent choice! Since it was our first time, we opted for the dinner for two, and the salads were fantastic as well. The dinner was enjoyable as we were able to use the fondue pot for both courses. Our server also recommended the turtle fondue, and it was a huge hit. I definitely recommend giving it a try!"

"We went BRIX in the pearl district of Portland on Sunday. Had not been back for a long time. This time my Partner invited his client and visiting parents from Seattle. He thought it would be nice to invite a party of 5 to Brix for brunch. This lunch was very disappointing. The Crab omelettes arrived cold. The hash browns were also cold. One person in the party ordered waffles with eggs and sausages. No syrup was offered or ever delivered to the table. Our impatient waitress Haley, rushed the bill to the table without checking in, to see if we wanted anything else. I felt as though she hated her job and could not wait to see us leave so that another party could take the table. I regret having brunch at Brix. I will not be back and warn anyone else looking for a good breakfast in Portland to avoid making my mistake. No point wasting money at Brix on poor quality food and the worst possible service. There are so many other great restaurant options available in Portland."

"This was my first time at a Melting Pot restaurant. The menu was overwhelming at first but our server John was so helpful. We were also able to modify our proteins since we do not eat salmon. We did the Wednesday night 4 course dinner. 1) Wisconsin Cheddar Fondue- amazing! 2) salads- mom has the house salad and I had the spinach salad. We both enjoyed! 3) We opted for the grilled cooking. It was fun to cook the food. They put a lot of seasoning on the chicken and steak. I didn't mind it but some was too peppery for my mom. 4) chocolate fondue- we did the yin yang which was white and milk chocolate. LOVED IT! There is a lot of food in the 4 courses, plus with the fondue the dip ins are bottomless, so come hungry! John, our server, was very attentive and extremely helpful! He kept checking in which was great. Fyi, if you stay at Hyatt House next door, you can also get a 10% off voucher. (Just ask at Hyatt House reception."

"melting pot is an experience! it is a dinner that takes a long time, but for the money they spend, they can get such a real fantastic meal in buffalo. several meal times! several meal times that are not on chains. While I was happy to pamper my 12-year-old, celebrating a big day here, I hope that no one else finds newness as she does and that I can train my children to have better definitions of imagination. as a side-marking our waitress was super friendly, but it seemed as if she had too many tables, so that the wait between the curses made a long weekend long."

"We've eaten here several times and have good experiences. This time our food was cold and service was just as bad. They kindly allowed us to sit on patio with mu puppy but the waitress rarely bothered to come out. My burger was cold and overcooked with a stale cold bun and I paid extra for a small bowl of lettuce with a slice of cucumber a baby tomato. Very disappointing for a meal!!"

"Honestly couldn’t leave a lower review. The service and people were nice, nothing on them. But just all and all a weird dining experience. Could be on us for not knowing what we’re walking in to. But I’m highly concerned we’re going to get food poising. You cook your own food. It has hibachi vibes but you are the cook. I guess we’ve never laughed more on a date night, but for all the wrong reasons. It was just such a strange experience, I felt like I was on a bad mushroom trip. 10/10 would not recommend. 10/10 paid wayyyyyy too much to cook our own food. "My daughter was home from college and it is her favorite place, so we went even though there was no occasion and it was a weeknight. The food was really good, as usual. There were a couple of interesting issues. We arrived 5 minutes early and they asked us to wait to be seated until our reservation time, even though the restaurant was not busy. They brought us our salad at the same time as the cheese, which was weird and has never happened before. My daughter ordered mushroom ravioli but got cheese. We had to flag someone down to ask for more water. They seem to be cutting back on what is included for dipping, especially with the cheese and chocolate course. There was still more than enough food, and you can always ask for more dippers, so it did not make us decide we wouldn't return. We were all stuffed. We will definitely be back."

"We have been going to Melting Pot in various locations for over 20 years now. Our last experience was by far the worst. The portion sizes are significantly reduced for dipping items for the cheese fondue as in vegetables and fruits. The Whiskey Business cocktail we ordered was all black cherry syrup and barely any whiskey. Our waiter was new and did express that to us. Once he found out we were regulars at the Melting Pot , our server seemed rushed and didn’t spend anytime preparing the fondues, to the point my wife had to finish getting the cheese ready. I don’t know if the value and service has decreased in other locations but Harrisburg Melting Pot definitely has."

"We were so excited to find a quick place to grab a bite, and the menu states clearly marked vegan and vegetarian items. After ordering the veggie burger with vegan written in front of it) and waiting for around 30 minutes, the cook came up to us and told us that they do not have any vegan buns! And the item is marked wrong on the menu! After some confusion he said he can just give the burger to us in a lettuce wrap! We had been waiting for so long we just said sure! While the veggie burger was delicious... it came with a micro size avocado scoop and hummus... and a bed or romain leaves not something you can wrap a burger in. Needless to say it was a very messy dinner and we were still hungry after eating! I appreciate their honesty but their service was just terrible! Please update your menu!"

"I went here last night with my friends and everything was great till about the end. We had asked the server if she could split the checks, and her response was very rude. She said something along the lines like “Can you guys just do it on one and venmo, i’m way too busy tonight and it will take too much time to split it up, i’m not even suppose to be working tonight i came in to help them, it would be easier for me if you did one payment” I get it was busy, but you can choose when to work, and if a customer asks for something you shouldn’t decline unless you physically can’t. This lady declined just because she was too busy. Not a appropriate answer in my opinion"

"Happy to update that after my review, the manager called me the next day and wanted to discuss my experience. He was very concerned and didn’t take it lightly and was very appreciative of my feedback. He told me the actions he took to help the team to avoid this happening in the future. It’s really nice to hear the sincere customer service of this manager and wanting to provide the best dining experience to their customers. Thank you very much for taking the time to discuss this and I do plan to go back. The waitress was very nice but the service was very poor. I actually bussed our own table as she was too busy and the bus boys were never around. Drinks were left empty and one of the cheese pots ended up burning because there was really no service. I removed two burning pots off the table. For the amount of money this place costs, service and quality should have been much better and more attentive."

I had a reservation for two at 6:45 pm and were seated on time, which was great. But, as we were seated we waited and waited. Our server didn’t check on us between each course and had waited an hour to get our entrees out after our first course. Also multiple tables were seated and had left after we had already been seated. "To be fair, our server was new but odd atmosphere. He didn't really know what he was doing, but didn't seem to be trained well. Weird music playing given the ambiance/decor, meat for entrees literally tastes boiled, (because it is) and the salad was pretty sad looking. Cheese fondue was great. I ordered a wine flight that was supposed to be served with each course, but it wasn't but the wine selection was pretty good. Most of the good wines are sold by the bottle only. There are a lot of little add on costs that make this place expensive even with the Groupon that we had. Took forever to eat, burned my tongue but that probably is my fault anyway. Sauces tasted like the they were from a bottle, and they gave us prepackaged spices for stuff. Supposedly it tastes good, but for the price point of the restaurant I found it inappropriate. They also had an obnoxious note on their Groupon that their wonderful' customers tip generously and on the entire nondiscounted meal. We did, but this set the bar high for service- and it was not excellent service (despite our servers efforts). It made me not want to tip well at all. Overall, you're better off spending the money for dinner at a steak house or really anywhere else. I'm saying that for the price that we paid with a Groupon which was 43 for two. Id come back just for fondue, but skip the rest. Outrageously expensive for what you're getting."

"We frequent Hilltop's location but this was not our "usual" amazing experience. Our server was very nice attentive but it took almost minutes for her to be sent over.
