"I'll start by saying my daughter and I were sat at a table where there was a horrendous smell of urine. When we left, they at least had the smarts to leave Table 22 vacant.I wanted a table for 2 people. I gave my name and cell number to get a text. I was told it would be a 25 minute wait, but it was more like 5 minutes. When I was providing my information, I saw an elderly male walking out with a walker and his pants were wet around his waist. I felt sorry for him on the inside. I never thought in a million years I would be seated where he probably just sat. I'm not saying that happened, but there was a horrific smell at Table 22. I didn't notice it immediately as I had my mask on. After placing my food order and getting my drink, I took my mask off. Oh my goodness, that urine smell hit me like a ton of bricks. My server was very apologetic. One of the managers not so much. I was told other people in the restaurant told them of the smell. So why in the world would you seat someone there. I was told they saw no liquid. I don't care; it could have dried up depending on how long the guests sat at the table. I did complete a form on the incident. Since it was 7 PM and my daughter was really hungry, we sat at another table to eat our food. My meal was overcooked probably because it sat long waiting. Another manager offered a replacement but I was ready to go. They did take off about 20% from the bill. I basically gave that to the server as he was really nice. Since the food wasn't that great, I more than likely won't go back ever again. I already told a friend about my experience. She will never go."

"This is a place where you want a decent little meal. The good thing is that they are opened somewhat later than most neighborhood restaurants and most of the time the service is good, not always, but most of the time. (We eat there a lot because we like to eat too late. The food is okay, not spectacular, but good. It is a NY Greek diner, so it has an extensive menu and they try to offer interesting dishes. Some of the foods are too salty for me, but you can not request salt or spices, so this is an individual thing. The prices are a little high. In LB there is another diner and their prices are also high. Prices seem to be high everywhere, but there is an excellent Asian restaurant nearby (for comparison and their prices are not high, so I cannot understand why they charge so much for an omelet or another basic diner dish. But I recommend it if you want a basic diner meal and don't wait for them to be busy."

"Phantom Gourmet paid a visit and made an assessment of this restaurant, and after checking it out myself, I can confirm I was not disappointed at all. The food was homemade and absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the pulled pork with mac and cheese, accompanied by roasted onion rings and BBQ sauce—everything was fantastic! The owner and his family all work together, and they are incredibly friendly and appreciative of their customers. The menu features so many different items that I can't wait to go back and try them all! Just a heads up: you'll need a big appetite because the portions are enormous!"

"Fantastic place! I called a few days in advance about reserving a table for a large group for a Saturday evening. Friday I called again to request an additional seat. Each time I called the staff who answered were friendly and helpful. The table was ready for us when we arrived Saturday. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Our orders were all correct and the food was great! Prices are more than reasonable for the portion sizes. They weren't oversized, only one person needed a box, and a few of us ordered dessert, but none of our party of nine left hungry. They were out of a few dessert choices, but those who wanted dessert were all able to find something they wanted. We had a great evening and our out of town guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves."

"First time dining at Lindsey's. An old-school (in a nostalgic and positive way) family restaurants. Lots of space, but even early on Saturday night the place was packed. Promptly greeted and seated. Service was excellent. Shout out to our server Logan who was pleasant, affable, and attentive. We were also visited mid-way through the meal by one of the hostesses to check on everything (nice touch). Food was very good. We had clam chowder (a tad thick for our tastes, but loaded with clams and clam flavor), tried the clam cakes (delicious, but be forewarned, they are really large, but again, lots of clams and flavor), had the sea scallops casserole special and the grilled swordfish. Seafood was very fresh and tasted lovely. Lots of different vegetables to chose from for sides, including on this evening, butternut squash and mashed Cape Cod turnips (which were delicious). Lindsey's is open Wed-Sun and has specials every night of the week, in addition to a solid set of menu items. The specials are accurately posted on their website everyday after about noon. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience and will be delighted to return."

"First and foremost, the staff at this restaurant is exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I visited for a maternity photoshoot and ended up ordering a wide variety of food. In my experience, the diner classics—such as pancakes, chicken fried steak, hamburgers, fries, shakes, and several other dishes—were all outstanding and cooked to perfection. Usually, there’s something that doesn’t go quite right, but here, they ensured everything was done correctly. Our server showed great care, and the manager even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We were seated in a unique car booth that resembled a vintage Chevy Malibu or Bel-Air, which made for a fun dining experience. The memorabilia adorning the walls really transports you back in time. I've been here twice now, and while I thought my first visit was a fluke, this time confirmed that their standards are consistently excellent. I highly recommend giving the Omelet House 50's Diner a try; the food alone makes it worth it!"

"03/31/22: I ordered to go and sat at the bar waiting for my order. The place was busy and understaffed. The gal that took my order was very nice, but pulled in so many ways. The fella with the beard/moustache (pictured in one of my photos) in the kitchen was frazzled and stressed out. He was cursing a lot due to the busyness of the night. With the kitchen open to the public, you could see the pasties and food being made. That?s really cool to see, but you can see everything. Everything meaning how the frazzled guy was preparing food. I saw him grabbing cooked fries and other foods with his bare hands and placing it in to go containers and plates after touching equipment, pots, hot pans, towels, and other things. It just looked kinda gross. There were also two young ladies (one was prepping vegetables and the other making meatball pasties) that were quietly and efficiently. I liked seeing them work especially the one making the pasties. I only tried the salmon pasty and fries that I ordered. The salmon pasty was not as flavorful or good as expected. I did like the pasty crust, but the flavor of the sauce wasn?t appealing to me. The salmon was on the border of being dry. The vegetables (tomatoes, potatoes, spinach) were ok. The sauce kinda ruined it for me. The fries were baked and ended up being really dry. Also, after seeing how the angry cook/chef handled food, I should?ve passed on them. Very underwhelmed with Cornish Pasty."

"I normally go to eat breakfast at this place twice a week since it was one of my favorite spots. Earlier this morning, I found a hair I 'm my food underneath my English muffin, which wasn 't the issue. I understand since I worked in the industry myself. The issue I have is how the manager Lisa handled the whole situation. Not once did she come and apologize, or check in on us to see if she can accommodate anything else, I asked our server if I could please speak to the manager, and when she finally came to speak to me she basically said that the hair could of been mine and they can 't do or take the meal off the check, I explained to her that I didn 't want the meal off my check, I just couldn 't believe how un professional a manager could be and not check in their customers . She made it out to seem as if I was looking for a free meal? LISA definitely should not be working in the industry if she doesn 't have any good customer service skills. I will definitely be taking my complaint to the better business burial"

"The fish and chips was good. But the portion was small 2 small pieces. More chips than fish. The grilled salmon was good. Nice portion but there were hardly any vegetable on the plate. Rice was tasty. Pilgrim sandwich was a hit. The fries were really good. The homemade chips sucked. They tasted like they had been sitting around. Finally the steak tip bomb was meh... The tips were really rare kind of bland and some pieces were really chewy. I ordered using Ubereats because they had a buy $30 save $20. I might give this place another chance if I'm ever in the area, but I do t think I'd seek it out again for delivery."

"My husband and I have been trying to get to this restaurant for months! Yesterday we were finally able to visit and it was well worth the wait! I had their Mexican scramble, which also comes as an omelette (pictured below). It came with hash which was also very delicious! My husband had their simple breakfast which was eggs, bacon and cheese grits that I took from him because they were so good?? Unless you arrive when they open, you will likely have to wait 30 mins/1 hour+"

"The food was very good. Got the Gouda Jam burger and would definitely get it again. Only problem was the service. Everyone was friendly, but you could tell they didn't have enough staff working. The ones they had were running around all over the place doing the best they could, but they were overwhelmed. It didn't even seem that busy, but I heard a server telling a table that they were out of something they ordered, so it might be that they just need some better planning. We hardly saw our server even come out of the kitchen.Either way, that was just one night, so it might not be like that usually, and the food was worth giving them another shot."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and found it to be a typical breakfast spot. We were allowed to choose our own seats, and I ordered the hash breakfast. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the hash; it was nothing like I had expected. After trying a few bites, I found it unsatisfying. "Boston Burger Company is a fantastic place right in the heart of Boston. It’s a bit tricky to park but it does not disappoint. We went in at 3 pm, and the wait was very short. We quickly received our food and were delightfully surprised with the quality and taste! The starter, fries, were a mash up between a steak and regular cut, and were crunchy, warm, and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The main courses were just as great! The portions were large, extremely delicious, and worth every bite. The mac and cheese was phenomenal, cheesey, well cooked, and warm. The chicken club sandwich (fried chicken and focaccia) had juicy and flavorful chicken, and crunchy bacon with complimentary tastes. The Cobb salad had great ingredients and was very fresh. The burgers were also delectable. The show stopper was easily the Freak Frappe, the Chocolate Madness Frappe. It boasted a rich and decadent cake slice, graham crackers, an Oreo rim, and a cherry on top: a chocolate lover’s dream. The frappe itself was thick, creamy, and flavorful. If you’re in the area, definitely try out Boston Burger Company. It is absolutely worth your time and I’m sure we’ll come back for more."

"From the outside, this restaurant may look a bit rundown or even closed, but once you step inside, you'll find a dimly lit, punk rock/grungy dive bar atmosphere. Having lived in England, I am quite familiar with pasties, and these ones are the closest I've found to the real deal - they're really close. The menu includes a dedicated vegetarian section with a few vegan options, including the two daily vegan specials that change regularly. I opted for one of the vegan daily specials and it was fantastic. While the prices may seem a bit high, the pasties are large enough that most people will be satisfied with just one, and they are delicious, making them worth the cost."
