"Boston Burger Company is a fantastic place right in the heart of Boston. It’s a bit tricky to park but it does not disappoint. We went in at 3 pm, and the wait was very short. We quickly received our food and were delightfully surprised with the quality and taste! The starter, fries, were a mash up between a steak and regular cut, and were crunchy, warm, and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The main courses were just as great! The portions were large, extremely delicious, and worth every bite. The mac and cheese was phenomenal, cheesey, well cooked, and warm. The chicken club sandwich (fried chicken and focaccia) had juicy and flavorful chicken, and crunchy bacon with complimentary tastes. The Cobb salad had great ingredients and was very fresh. The burgers were also delectable. The show stopper was easily the Freak Frappe, the Chocolate Madness Frappe. It boasted a rich and decadent cake slice, graham crackers, an Oreo rim, and a cherry on top: a chocolate lover’s dream. The frappe itself was thick, creamy, and flavorful. If you’re in the area, definitely try out Boston Burger Company. It is absolutely worth your time and I’m sure we’ll come back for more."

I popped in for a quick bite to counter all the seafood I consumed up until then, and I'm glad I did. I ordered their seasonal burger with grilled peaches. It was good, but the burger was slightly overcooked. It wasn't overly dry, but it could have been juicier. Service was friendly and timely. View menu

The wait staff were great and very kind, and everything came out quickly. However, I ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese and could only stomach a few bites before I started feeling sick. I was sick for the rest of the day, and am disappointed because I was super excited to try this restaurant. I would recommend sticking to the burgers.

Delicious burgers! I ordered the Hot Mess, which I would rate 4 stars, while my husband had the 420, which deserves a solid 5 stars! We also tried the Mumbo fries, which were quite tasty. I enjoyed the sauce, even though it made the fries a bit soggy. I would definitely come back. As for kid-friendliness, the environment and menu options for children are great!

great place to feel the real American taste of a burger!! My chicken was a bit dry and overcooked. Other than that the burger and sauce were good. I wish they had fries as a default not chips but it’s a personal preference. I wanted to try the milkshake but I couldn’t dare to on this visit seeing the burger size. I will be back to try it though! Parking is a bit difficult but the location is easy to find. Server is pretty attentive and knowledgeable of the menu items. Atmosphere is casual, a bit loud but comfortable. View menu

I visited the restaurant with a group of 14, and our experience was quite disappointing. We had to wait 10 minutes just for our drinks to arrive. After 45 minutes of waiting, four members of our party still hadn’t received their food. When the meals finally came an hour later, the grilled chicken on the salad was practically cold, which wasn't surprising since I had noticed it sitting out for the last 45 minutes. Additionally, the burgers and sandwiches were also served cold, despite being told that we were delayed because they were "waiting for them to cook." Ultimately, I left the restaurant feeling hungry. It was an awful experience overall.

I previously gave this place 4 stars but my last visit forced me to reevaluate my review. We ordered the sampler platter, the Mexican corn street fries, and the seasonal frappe. The street fries were ok but they were out of chorizo so we ended up getting bacon on it instead. Everything but the Mac n cheese arancinis on the sampler was overcooked, almost burnt. The fried pickles were the most disappointing part as they had very thin slices of pickle and like previously mentioned were overcooked. The service was ok but definitely could have been better. The best part of the visit was the frappe which is always delicious. Stick to the burgers and frappes.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
