"Some say it is loud. Yes, it is a place to celebrate and do it with exuberance. It is home.....and fine dining blended together in what many could not handle. If you come for fine dining you will be mesmerized by the spectacular food. If you want quiet and demur with elegant music in the background you will be disappointed. It is like the home kitchen with family bantering and laughing all through it. Laura and Mel have taken that home feel, put flavors and foods together that will have you wondering, what flavors are those!? Desserts that Karlie puts together, like key lime crème brûlée and crème brûlée with vanilla bean and pepper corns; again having you wondering, how is this so amazing!? It is a small restaurant that takes glorious pride in providing a lot of their own home-grown foods, and what they can 't from the Fiddlehead Farm, they source locally. Our only negative is the Herbie Hancock is going into hibernation until basil comes again in the spring. Needless to say, we applaud their commitment to 'the fresh ' and 'in season ', but are already depressed because Herbie was a trusted friend! And the staff, what beautiful amazing souls! They compliment the dreams of two woman and add their own verve, like an added sauce that takes the meal to the next level. I think we would even go so far as to say they are the wonderful butter dripping over a beautiful steak or delicately prepared fish. Standing ovation to such a wonderful place and the atmosphere they foster!!!"
