"Update They were not purchased by Pepsi as I was told, either Stubborn Soda was purchased and discontinued, or they made the conscious decision to switch to Pepsi..... Instead of fighting to be unique or switching to another small soda group like Maine Root... A terrible misstep none the less, and the review still stands. End Update The burger here is always fantastic. Prepared, seasoned and cooked perfectly. The options are all pretty unique to the burger genre and they have a solid foundation. But that's where the unique dining stops, I'll explain in detail below. The kids burgers were not the same as ours, a lil dry and with no sauce as requested, naturally I wasted 20 bucks because they didn't eat it I wish I had remembered to take pics of the burgers, my bad fam. The condiment bar is on point. The hot honey and sage fries are the best thing on the menu that doesn't include beef. The bacon isn't worth the price on the upgrade, I don't understand why there is an upcharge to turn a burger into a salad, it shouldn't be more. There are many things I could nitpick, but I really did like this place..... Service was great, staff, food...... Wonderful. The overall star cut is from being bought by Pepsi and changing the drink options. To go from Stubborn Soda which fit the company vibe so well, to the trash of all carbonated options was the worst possible decision they could have made. Literally just another chain now. It doesn't matter how well you dress up a burger, if your main beverage options are Pepsi......I might as well stay home and cook. Not wasting 60 bucks here again for a meal to wash it down with trash."

"After reading several reviews prior my visit, I decided to try Mythology with mixed feelings. It seemed reviews were about 50/50 for good experiences and bad experiences. So, here I go....I had 5:45 reservations and arrived around 5:30. I was promptly greeted by staff hanging Halloween decorations. The restaurant was empty, perhaps one person sitting at the bar. I thought lack of traffic might be because it was early on a Tuesday evening. My guest and I were offered a seat by the open windows. We were exposed to the street vibe of H Street. If you are attempting to have a conversation it can be both challenging while amusing when you hear road traffic, street cars, sirens and bits of people's conversation as they pass by. Almost all pedestrian (especially young people) passing commented about the decorations of lights in clouds which change colors, very cool and whimsical. Our server Rita showed explained the Frites and the vast toppings available. We ordered drinks, I had the Bourbon Mule and she had the Mojito. Both were good. Then we opted for the smothered Crab Frites. It seemed to take a while for the order to arrive. When the plate arrived, it was luke warm/cold definitely not hot. I thought since we were the only two dining, the food should been at least hot. As for our entrees, I had the Beef Ribs with Sticky Rice. I found the ribs very fatty and oily. I only ate one part of the two thin ribs and nibbled on the sticky rice. I was done. My guest ordered the Salmon. When it arrived, it looked worn, and had an odd smell. So rather than chance eating, she ordered the crayfish hush puppies as an alternate. Love the decorations but feel the kitchen needs help. Sorry to say, probably will not return except for possible drinks or lite appetizers."
