"Amazing food! My husband loves sushi and said it was the best sushi he’d ever had. I had tempura udon- delicious (the udon broth was delicious but salty! . We sat in a 1/2 booth and all of the AC vents were right over the perimeter booth seats, so heard other complain and we were chilly too—not so bad that it ruined our meal, but I would definitely say to bring a jacket in the summer! We also took the Metra train in, and the train was 30 minutes late-ugh. I called Blufish and they were very nice about moving our reservation back to accommodate. We’ll be back- my husband had officially declared it his new favorite sushi restaurant"

"We dined at Mango 10 years ago and it was memorable... the open sea, the great food and drinks, the exceptional service. Last night fell short. Four of us went to dinner at 6:30. When we arrived for our reservation, we were taken to a second-tier table, though only 4 other tables were used out of 25+. The first-tier seats were for resort guests, they told us, tho most stayed empty over the next 2 hours. The service was laggy, 2 drinks came with wrong ingredients and presentation. We had to ask for our check after a lengthy wait after dessert. The food mostly was good. Two fails were the butternut squash soup, which was watery and bland, and the $90 lobster tails, which were nicely grilled but otherwise uninspired. The whole snapper was dramatic and flavorful but a rather skimpy portion once you did the work to remove the head, tail, flippers and skin. And then there was the price. We know the restaurant, so knew it was pricey, but at $225+ per person, it was a big disappointment."

"Ok so much to like, but can I just mention the Fois gras. If you don’t like this dish, then stop reading now. But if you love it as I do, then get yourself over here and order it right now! Perfectly cooked, delicious and tender and succulent, with a sweet little garnish of something perfect and divine. Got a perfect wine suggestion from our waiter which absolutely complimented my meal. And when my friend’s phone ran out of power, they found us a charger! I loved everything about this place and will be back soon."

"A bistro with warm, welcoming and cozy vibes serves up scrumptious mediterranean dishes accompanied with spirits. My husband and I ate here on Valentine's Day. Needless to say the place was a buzz. The service remained friendly and prompt. We absolutely adored the vibes. The place has an open kitchen, petite bar, table and booth seating. We dinned on apps, entres and dessert while we sipped champagne. Every single thing was delicious. But our favorites was the chicken shwarma, lamb and the cheese cake (not like the traditional. Think more like a sweet version of Saganaki). We will be making this place a regular on the date night rotation."

"Prior to groupon purchase we called to asked if prefixed meal would be able to accommodate someone who is vegetarian, to which we were told absolutely we have many options. So we arrive, seated pleasantly and after a long wait the waitress arrives without introducing herself. We Proceeded to order our drinks. We shared we had a groupon, she literally snatched the menus and came back with the prefixed menu.I shared I was vegetarian and what she could recommend. I asked if there was a possibiiltiy of a vegetable roll as chicken was available. I was told NO, you can do Miso soup or salad.Dinner had 1 option of tofu where when I asked to have it spicy I was told "nothing to make spicy you can use this sauce. "Only thing good was Fried Oreo as dessert"

"**THE LOCATION** It's located on the northeast corner of Parker and Custer. **THE ATMOSPHERE** The place is intimate and clean. Although it’s small, it has a welcoming neighborhood vibe. **THE STAFF** The staff is friendly and accommodating. **THE FOOD** The sushi is fresh and of high quality. Each dish is flavorful, and the portions are generous. The sushi rolls are well-sized, and the fried rice is fantastic too. **THE PRICES** The pricing is what you would expect from a sushi restaurant. **OVERALL** AKARI is a fantastic spot for sushi. I highly recommend checking it out!"

"Took the kids to Buffalo for a day in the city. Brunch at Oshun was amazing. The fried oyster hash was fantastic. Our server, Ronnie, went above and beyond taking care of our table. We have small kids. Some restaurants cringe at the sight of us coming. But Ronnie got us everything we needed and made us feel very welcome with our family. The kids ate every bite of their French toast, eggs and bacon! I can't wait to try it for dinner. Highly recommended. Ask for Ronnie to be your server. He is awesome."

"We were looking for a sushi place within walking distance. How had we walked by this place and never been in? We were greeted with a warm welcome by the whole staff, seated at a great table and immediately edamame and water were brought to the table. The place is cozy without being cluttered, and attracts a casual clientele that all seemed to be enjoying themselves. We ordered the Brussels sprout fries (which were not greasy and didn't feel fried! , house salad, the red dragon roll, the 911 roll (with brown rice and seaweed salad. Everything was very fresh and delicious! My partner got the green tea ice cream for dessert which looked like a banana split it was so big! We will definitely be back."

"Would definitely NOT recommend. Was my first time there and though memorable it was for what went wrong or was bad rather than what was right. Not only that you have to pay a valet to park your car when the restaurant was basically empty. Poor idea and yet another reason I would not go back. Our waiter was terrible and even lied about our order being right when it was not and then he overcharged us. Have called twice to try to remedy and have yet to receive a call back. DON'T BOTHER. There are plenty of good sushi places around"

"Before heading over, I called to confirm that they were open for dine-in, and the person on the phone assured me that they were and that they closed at 9 PM. We arrived at the restaurant around 7:30, waiting for a couple to exit before we could be seated. After standing at the door for about 4-5 minutes, a woman—who I assume was the bartender or host—came over and bluntly informed us that they stop serving at 7:30. My husband pointed out that I had called ahead and wasn’t told about the early cutoff time, which left us both quite frustrated, especially him. It felt unfair, as I had made an effort to confirm the hours beforehand. The way the woman handled the situation was quite unprofessional, and this experience has led us to reconsider whether we want to give this restaurant another chance in the future. I apologize if this sounds harsh—I’m really trying not to be unreasonable—but I can’t help but wonder why a restaurant would close at 9 PM yet stop serving food an hour and a half beforehand."

"first visit in mora and it will be not least. the personal was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. the cocktails were delicious! if they love strawberry, the animal circle is a must! as an appetizer we went with the lumpia wrap and tiger shrimp. the package was okay, not what we expected. the sauce for the packings was excellent. the tiger shrimp was fantastic and I could drink a bowl of lemongrass diving sauce so good! the fried rice was one of my most beloved, tons crispy pork bell! rock steak was spicy and offers a generous part. I look forward to trying more of the special roles. the drunken scottish was delicious. the yellow shiny shark was fresh, tasty and presented with carefree."

"The decor and energy of the place was really hip and cool and the food tasted GREAT, but there were just too many things that stood out as bad or unacceptable to say it was a good experience. Bad: I wrote in the OpenTable notes that this dinner was a birthday/special occasion, but they didn 't do anything special for us. I asked if we could be seated at a more discreet booth rather than by the stair case near the sushi bar and I was told that the booths are for parties of four only. They then proceeded to sit three parties of two at the open booths. Bad: Our waitress didn 't really check on us or refill our water and the wait time between plates coming out was pretty long. Also, our chopsticks were not refreshed after the appetizers, which seemed a bit cheap. The service was below average compared to other sushi places in town. Bad: When I ordered my nigiri, the waitress kept telling me I should order the special nigiri . It came off as her just trying to get a bigger tip. For example, I asked about the yellowtail and was told I should try the far pricier scallop special nigiri instead. Unnacceptable: The grapefruit garnish on my wife 's paloma smelled like sweaty feet. and there was a long hair in our cheesecake. So gross. If they aren 't cutting their garnishes daily and keeping the containers clean behind the bar, it really makes me wonder if everything else is fresh... which is obviously important for a sushi place. Time will tell if we give this place another try."

"these absolutely delicious sushi places offer a lot of vegan maki (tasteful and complicated sushi) and nigrirolles in addition to a vegan dessert. I had the good catch spicy “Tuna” and farmbot 2.0 I personally liked the farmbot 2.0 more, especially because of the cream cheese. the thunfish roll tasted much like thunfish! the only reason why it would not have five stars of me would be the price. for the vegan and non-vegan dishes they would think they would get more food for the price they pay. the service here was absolutely phenomenal! the waiter started us by asking if we have any food restrictions, and was extremely attentive. it was the best waiting I ever received. the location itself is beautiful, with a picture outside and inside! there are beautiful sakura flowers on the inside with a wonderful atmosphere. it is also kind. the personal here also wears masks! when they come to a busy night, it is best that they get it early or have a reservation. while we were sitting, we listened and saw how the hostess told others that no reservations remained open and that they had to turn others away because of the tables."

"The service is decent, but some areas of the restaurant are starting to show wear and tear. For example, there were broken closet doors that one waitress was struggling with, causing items to fall out."

"The food here is excellent, and the portion sizes for dinner are generous. You can request your preferred spice level, making the dishes accessible for those who may not be familiar with Indian cuisine. However, for those wanting a more intense flavor, you can still find some deliciously spicy options. The takeout usually has a quick turnaround, and there's a discount available for cash payments. The only downside is that sometimes the staff refer to the same dish by different names, so it's helpful to know both names when you call to place a takeout order."
