"First off, the delivery service was quick and efficient. The pizza arrived at my doorstep piping hot, thanks to the careful packaging that kept it fresh and intact during transit. Hats off to Barraco's for their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Now, let’s talk about the main attraction. We ordered the thin crust pizza with pineapple, jalapeño, and sausage, and it was truly a mouthwatering delight! The combination of these unique toppings created a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate with every bite. What first caught my attention was the crispy yet tender thin crust, topped with just the right amount of perfectly melted and golden-brown cheese. It served as the perfect base for the medley of ingredients. The addition of pineapple brought a subtle sweetness that complemented the savory sausage beautifully. However, the real highlight was the jalapeño. Its mild heat and tangy notes provided a tantalizing kick, balancing the flavors and giving the pizza an exciting twist. The harmonious blend of sweet, spicy, and savory was a taste sensation like no other. Overall, my experience was outstanding. The prompt delivery and flavorful pizza, along with the unique combination of pineapple, jalapeño, and sausage on the thin crust, made for a delectable masterpiece. I highly recommend trying this combination; it will undoubtedly leave you wanting more. Whether you're a pizza lover or simply seeking a unique flavor adventure, Barraco's Pizza is the place to go. I will definitely be ordering from them again, and I encourage others to do the same!"

"I recently went to Chicago over the Halloween weekend to visit a friend and do a food tour around the city. I 've hosted a food series for a local tv station, and currently I don 't have any Michelin rated restaurants where I live. So, add being a foodie to that and Chicago is a stop on my list. The food tour was basically trick or treating for two adults. Drop in try some food and a drink, then move on. I can say there were no tricks and only treats when we got to Joe 's Imports. For two weeks my friend talked about going to Joe 's to get the FB J. When we arrived it was a little busy and we told the hostess our mission, get a drink and an FB J. The bar was full, so we were seated at a table in the dining area. At this point I 'm not sure if it was the look on our face as we waited or just the energy pull that led John R., the GM to our table. John introduced himself to PJ and I. She told him our mission and that I was visiting from Charlotte, NC. John then asked if we ever had the Whipped Ricotta, which we had not and he sent over an order. The creaminess of the ricotta with the sweetness of the honeycomb, and crunch of that bread, OMG. Then the FB J came to the table. First of all, the plating was exquisite, the softness of the foie gras mousse and the hint of tartness from the blackberry-thyme jam on brioche honestly made me say, I need a moment to savor this. The dish was everything PJ said it would be. To our surprise the quick stop wasn 't over. First a visit from John and then chef, Aras D, visited our table to see who only wanted foie gras. A great conversation with chef Aras and then he returned later with a smore dessert and a sample of a possible new dessert item. The dessert was the chef 's take on a snickers, a chocolate cake, foie gras for the filling with caramel and nuts on top. I must say one of the better desserts I 've tasted. From start to finish the experience was top notch. If you go, order the FB J no matter what. I know each time I am in the Windy City I will stop by Joe 's"

"Our recent culinary discovery, Alcala, offered an enchanting Spanish escape in the heart of New York. Stepping inside felt like entering a lively Spanish taverna, with an authentic interior that immediately set the stage for an intimate dining experience. The warm greetings and calm escort by the staff made us feel like regulars on our first visit, echoing the connection and engagement I aim for in leadership training. The proximity to the UN added a unique flair, attracting a diverse crowd and creating an intriguing backdrop to our evening. Starting with the red sangria, a delightful introduction to Alcala's flavors, we embarked on a culinary journey. The Patatas Bravas and Conquetas, especially the codfish variety, were delightful appetizers. The Special Lentil Soup was a warm embrace, showcasing the chef's dedication and love for their craft. For the main course, my wife savored the Paella Negra, while I enjoyed the spectacular Paella Carne, both a testament to the chef's mastery. The Salmon in Salad and Chuleton Cabrales added another layer of excellence to our culinary adventure. With delightful secrets for dessert, Alcala proved to be more than a dining experience; it was an immersive journey through the vibrant streets of Spain. If leadership were a restaurant, Alcala would undoubtedly be the model for making everyone feel not just satisfied but truly valued."
