"I have been dining at El Burrito Loco for many years. My favorite dish is the giant steak and shrimp burrito without beans, with guacamole, cilantro, and fresh jalapenos. I have never had any issues with their food or service, despite reading some negative reviews. El Burrito Loco remains my go-to restaurant for delicious Mexican cuisine."

"Sure, honey! The atmosphere is colorful and appealing. The restaurant itself is clean the cabins and the seating comfortable and cozy. Before I give a review of the meal myself, let me talk about the waiting staff. we had a server called Luc! (pronounced LOOSE) she was funny, engaged, attentive and courteous we love her! We had fresh, homemade chips with homemade salsa that was excellent The Guacamole was the best we ever had! We ordered both chicken fajitas, which they were served on the large plate, seasoned with chicken, sweet peppers, mushrooms and onions and grilled to perfection. They were also served with the best fried beans, each of us ever had them smooth and creamy and delicately seasoned. The Entrée was served with two hot tortillas, salad, acid cream and spiced rice. We give this restaurant 10 stars and would recommend everyone to come!!! The atmosphere here would welcome families and where certain children would be thrilled with menu offers, we cannot wait, come back!"

"It was a quiet evening when we arrived and were seated right away. The service was excellent, and the food was phenomenal. I tried the spicy mango margarita, which was delicious but a bit expensive at $15 for under 8oz. My wife and I shared the shrimp ceviche and the flautas de pollo. The portion sizes were reasonable for a restaurant in Denver, but felt a bit small compared to what you might expect in Mexico. We weren’t offered any chips and salsa, which was a little disappointing. Our total for two appetizer-sized dishes and one drink came to $55 after an additional credit card fee, and we left a $10 tip, bringing our total to $65. We had a wonderful conversation with Rick, the owner, who was a fantastic person. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family."

"Very very disappointed with service from the manager or owner. I been shopping there for the past 14 years. I pretty much get the same thing everyday. To make a long story short, something that cost $8, he said cost $12 three weeks ago and last week he said the same thing cost $10 and said with a loud mean spirit.. I spend about $1000 each year; about $14,000 the past 14 years. So I will boycott for now and spend my money elsewhere."

"I picked up two take out orders kids meals. The pasta with cream sauce was a large size of noodles for kids. And the sauce was tasty. The make your own pizza kit was a little disappointing. There weren't any instructions how to cook it and was just a piece of dough, some sauce and one type of cheese. Was expecting a little more interactions options for a kit for kids to make. The food tasted fine. I used the app to make an online order and pulled up curbside when it was ready. The store was about 10 min late with my order but apologized and it wasn't an issue."

"I ordered a classic cubano sandwich, but it didn't quite match my expectations of what a cubano should be. The pork flavor was overpowering, and I found myself searching for the cheese. "We had a great dining experience at this restaurant. Our party consisted of five adults and a small child. Our drink orders were taken promptly, and we were quickly served salsa and chips. The menu offered a good variety, and we ended up ordering quite a few dishes. Since it was lunchtime, I opted for the Speedy Gonzales, which came with one taco, one enchilada, and refried beans. "I have been going to El Cerritos since I was a child. Recently, the restaurant has been compromising its iconic service and food quality. During my most recent visit, I ordered two entrees and two drinks, which came to a total of $41. I found the prices to be a bit high. However, what was even more disappointing was when I discovered that my steak burrito contained both steak and chicken, which was not what I had ordered. Additionally, we had to wait 25 minutes after paying for our meal (we had called ahead at 6:23, arrived and paid at 6:36, but did not receive our food until 7:00). Although the restaurant was very busy that day, their service and food quality did not meet the usual high standards that I have come to expect from them."

"The food was great. Had the NYE menu options. The lobster bisque was spilled all over the table and floor by the server. The table was cleaned up but not the floor ever. No new bowl of soup was offered. What would have really made the meal great was some bread to sop up all the goodness but bread was nonexistent. Seems a bit weird for a restaurant at this price level. After ordering our initial drinks the drink menu was taken and we were never asked again if we’d like another drink. The server really showed no interest until it was time to receive the tip. Overall good food but probably not worth a return trip."

"I am so disappointed with the service that I received. First, I mistakenly make the same order twice (via Uber eat) and they did not cancel my second one while I noticed immediately and cancelled it just in 5 second. what I heard was they are preparing theorder and can not cancel it and if do so, will charge me whole amount. I gave up and ask for the order to deliver but moredisappointed was when I got the second order delivered, they did not put avocado salad for California club and sent me just aplain pizza. "I come here because it's close by and I can order online. Especially if I need to have dinner at a certain time because of school events. Just recently we had Back to School night and I needed pick up dinner beforehand so that we could be at school at 5:00p. I ordered online and selected 4:15p for pick-up. When I arrived, they hadn't even started the order. And once they did, it took forever. It wasn't even ready until 4:40p. What is the point of being able to order ahead? This has happened quite often. I keep coming back because I keep hoping it's changed, but it hasn't. Lastly, the service here is very unprofessional. It feels like a bunch kids with attitude running the show. If I could help it, I would not come here ever again. However, the LuLu's every where else is good! Go there instead."

"This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, and I've never had a bad experience here. However, I've noticed that the presentation and portion sizes are far better when dining in. For example, I ordered the chori pollo for takeout (I chopped the chicken before taking a picture), and as you can see, everything was just tossed into a single takeout container. The lettuce, guacamole, and pico de gallo were all warm and mixed in with the rest of the food, making the beans almost disappear due to the mixing. While the food is always fresh, I wish the takeout presentation and portion sizes matched what I enjoy when dining in. I've included pictures of my takeout chori pollo, as well as a dining-in dish from a few months ago, to illustrate the difference in presentation and portion size."
