"Went here last night 12 tacos and a quesadilla $70 dollars outrageous! We did a over the phone order they don’t tell you how much it is. You go to pick up and refuse to pay that and the guy starts acting like he’s about to do something like he’s going to keep you from leaving. Bought a quesadilla just to be nice they hadn’t have even made the order to begin with. Do not go here just a bunch of thugs working here the location is quite dangerous as well seen fights here driving by since it’s right next to the liquor store. Place looks nasty anyways! Do not eat here if you plan on buying for your family just take your family out cause if you are over a family of three you will spend over $100. Outrageous and the quesadilla looks and tastes like something you can make yourself at home. No vayan aquí por favor 12 tacos y una quesadilla $70!!!! "I went to Atla on my birthday and everything was so good so when my parents visited I took them there. I was bummed to see the menu was different and didn’t have any of the plates I talked to them about. I understand menus change as seasons change but just my opinion. As a mexican family, we thought the “cafe con leche” was like a regular cafe con leche, I even asked the waiter to make sure it wasn’t a latte (con leche espumosa) and he said no. The margarita was also mediocre, not sure if the bartender was not as good. Anyway, I was also excited they had the carnitas de pato from Cosme which I’ve had twice in Cosme and were delicious, but at Atla they were mediocre. My dad had also asked for a little salt and the waiter forgot and by the time he remembered my dad was done lol. I love Atla and Cosme and I love to support mexican restaurants here in NYC but i was a little bummed. Hope this helps."

"Just meh, maybe our expectations were hyped because of all the good things my mom keeps hearing about the place and the promise of all the people grabbing to go orders here but we weren't really impressed. Mom and I both ordered chimichangas I had carneshe the ground beef. Best part of the chimi was the cheese sauce it was covered in, carne had little flavor but I can't countthe number of times I had to stop and spit out a chunk of fat or gristle that I just can't handle, it was chopped in such smallpieces many could probably handle it but anything aside from the actual meat I just can't do. Pico and lettuce in place was anice touch but lacked any overall flavor in the pico. Horchata was good in that it didn't have the grit many places do butlacked some cinnamon IMO. Table salsa had good flavor we all love it when we can actually taste cilantro and you could here.Hubby had a taco plate but he does his own reviews, what I remember is that the onions weren't fresh probably (no flavor) andthat the radish could have been pickled. Also a bit disappointed in the tortillas being all wrapped up and only having one pertaco! Would we come back when back to visit mom again?possibly but doubtful."

"Boy, I wish I could rate the place better, the food was some of the best Ive had since leaving San Diego fresh mex heaven by the border. Truly phenomenal. But the front of the house was so over tasked, mistakes, serious like mis poured 12 dollar frozen marg because that phenomenally invested staff couldn’t get orders beautifully on a long line, and play bartender to the place simultaneously Nor could the one food runner do everything else including wipe tables or keep my table safe from take over when I went up so the bartender/order taker didn’t have to deliver it: he had my order half done, and 7 others multitasking pours etc, and messed mine up. When I said the issue of how a great place and great staff was slipping this Karen manager Sunia said well everyone else thinks the margaritas are stunning— what ELSE didn’t you like after I spent time describing what someone in food service most of my life saw, BUT started with what was Best Id ever had and she had no ear to hear shes abusing her employees and so I stopped trying to explain she clearly is not interested in hearing anything but agreement. I see why the employees cant tell her this isn’t sustainable. Great food (the kitchen had twice the staff) but based on her get it to go and order ahead. Tip the front end anyway…. sheesh."

"First time visiting this location for Zeroday. The beer is consistently good. There is a variety of styles, so if you like beer, chances are you'll be able to find one (or more) to your liking. This was also the first time i visited since Zeroday started offering their own food menu. I had the salmon BLT. Not something you usually see on a menu, so I was definitely interested in trying it. I wasn't disappointed in my choice. The salmon and bacon were cooked perfectly. It was delicious! I'll definitely be coming back to try other menu items, and of course, for the beer."

"I really was looking forward to this place after watching it get built out every morning on my drive. We were working in the area and needed to feed our crew of 30. We placed a very large order and when we arrived with only 12 people they would not let us sit in any of the open and empty tables so we could order drinks and more appetizers. I was confused but we obliged after spending a lot of money to pre order this food and sat my adult crew on these small chairs (the kindyou find in a kindergarten classroom) while the location was empty. Other crew members decided to go to the taco spot in the MIA MARKET instead of sitting on kid sized chairs eating at a counter that comes up to your thigh. Let's talkfood. The asada was a little over cooked and chewy, the pastor did not taste like pastor and the tortillas were definitely not handmade or fresh. They kept breaking when you would bend them with the fillings. The poor waitress that hadto fumble over is in a corner to get our drink orders was kind and hard working. Not sure what they plan to do, but you can level out mediocre food with excellent customer service. Especially when sao many people come to Miami to filmshows over the summer and locals like myself like to give that business to local restaurants."

"I had the pleasure of trying EVERYTHING on the menu, and each bite was a flavor explosion.I started with the esquite, a corn cup topped with mayonnaise, cheese, lime juice, and chili powder. It was a delicious and satisfying appetizer that set the stage for the rest of the meal.The avocado tostada was a standout with its rich and flavorful guacamole. It was perfectly balanced with lime.The birria tacos were bursting with flavor. What made them even better was the consommé dip, elevating the tacos to a whole new level of deliciousness.The tacos al pastor, with their tender meat and the sweetness of pineapple, were simply amazing. "I fall in love with this restaurant more more each time I'm here. I want to say the restaurant has new owners. That is just my thought, I could be wrong. The menu slightly changed the taste in food is beyond good. It is YUMMILICIOUS!! Today my husband I stopped here around 330PM, was not crowded but soon got busy after we ordered. We ordered Nachos Rancheros Chicken Chimichanga. Nachos Rancheros it was a very generous plate of nachos. I don't think I could have finished it by myself. Thank goodness my husband was there to save the day. We both devoured the nachos. The steak was nicely seasoned the onions were not raw. Major plus for me! It was topped w/lettuce, tomatoes, slices of avocado sour cream. I could eat this everyday. Chicken Chimichanga it was filled w/shredded chicken in some kind of delicious red sauce, wrapped, deep fried then topped w/this magical jalapeño cheese sauce served w/a side of rice salad. OMG! I'm telling you, the cheese sauce MADE the plate. Don't let it fool you. They probably put some kind of drug in it, I don't know. I know it's good when I close my eyes, smile do my yummy dance. W.O.W! Try it, you won't be disappointed. My husband I were full after finishing the nachos but we had to try the chimichanga. We cut about 1/3 of it tried. Wished we would have tried it right when it got to the table still piping hot. Our eyes were more hungry than our appetite. We brought the rest of the chimichanga home. We have ordered to go many many times but this is probably our 3rd or 4th time eating in. Our waiter today was so nice, fast clean. After we finished our plate of nachos he came right away to clear the table preparing for our next entree. Aside from today..we always order on TACO TUESDAYS! $1 tacos, can't beat that! Before, the $1 tacos on Tuesdays were a little smaller than regular sized tacos. But now, they are just as big. Love the carne asada! Nicely seasoned with little bits of charred pineapple. YUM!!"

"since tortas jalisco closed, this is now our favorite Mexican restaurant in the opposite. They have many of the same menu items as tortas jalisco with some new supplements. but just as delicious! the service is wonderful. my man and I have been protecting these family businesses for so long that they welcome us like old friends. lawrence has many Mexican restaurants, but mexquisito is the one they don't want to miss!"

"The Mexican food here is mediocre and overpriced. They charge extra for everything, even for chips and salsa—which they offer every time but fail to mention isn’t free. Adding less than half a scoop of beans to a single taco costs more than half the price of the taco itself ($3.50!). There are so many better Mexican restaurants in San Francisco—don't waste your time here. Avoid it if you can. The staff are nice, which is the only reason I initially gave more than one star. However, after receiving a rude response from the owner suggesting I just buy Doritos, I feel this place doesn’t even deserve two stars. It's disappointing, and the owner should be ashamed of speaking that way to paying customers."

"This place is a hidden gem; Erie is lucky to have such amazing traditional Mexican food with ingredients this healthy and authentic! They don't have a deep fryer; they don't use chili powders, only peppers; they source their meats and vegetables with the customer's satisfaction and health both in mind. The recipes are the ultimate perfect version of Mexican foods found at other traditional Mexican restaurants. They have a special entree in addition to the regular items, and I would suggest that. Our chicken was cooked to perfection; the queso fundido was better than and unlike any other I'd had before; the soup was wonderful and I wanted to drink the broth; even our margueritas were better than any we'd had before. A+ all around and we'll be back soon!"

"As a local, this is by FAR the best place for street tacos in south beach. I can’t believe it’s currently rated similarly to some of these other places. The only thing that kind of irritates me is the inability to order a la carte tacos online—they make you order 3 of the same kind, rather than incorporate some variety. The service is also weird—no servers (you order at a counter and tip is included , and feels very dim and quiet inside. Ohhh the way they’d make a killing with just a few tweaks. Yet overall, one can definitely tell all ingredients are fresh and the chefs actually care about what’s on your plate : definitely go for the al pastor, squash blossom quesadillas, and guacamole. I’ll probably go without the pollo taco next time. Vegetarian options: Squash blossom quesadillas were amazing. I know they have multiple vegetarian tacos, but I haven’t tried them—though they look good. "The service was friendly and attentive. However, the restaurant didn’t appear particularly clean, and the food was just decent—ranging from okay to good. The highlight was definitely the QR code at the table that allowed us to take a photo with the Golden Girls. The drinks were strong and tasty, which everyone enjoyed. The kids especially loved the lasagna. The decor felt a bit lacking in authenticity, with only Blanche’s bedroom really standing out. Ultimately, it was a delightful experience. My mom passed away last year, and during her time in hospice, we watched a lot of The Golden Girls together. This visit was a way for us to honor her memory."
