"I decided to take it back inside and politely informed the cashier about the cold food due to the partially frozen hash brown. She yelled for one of the cooks, who came out to listen to my concern. I asked if I could just get a fresh, properly heated bowl from the case. Without any consideration for my time constraints that morning, the cook replied, "No, we can’t do that. I’ll just throw it back in the oven and reheat it for you, but it may take a few minutes." Unfortunately, waiting in line to ask for a refund wasn’t feasible, so I didn’t want to make a scene and just said okay.
Eight minutes later, I received the reheated breakfast bowl, thanked her, and left. Instead of simply giving me a new bowl and discarding the poorly prepared one, I was left waiting for something that looked like it might make me sick, and I ended up being late for work. I am very disappointed with the customer service I received today and I won’t be returning to this particular store. Honestly, what does it cost to throw away something that wasn’t prepared correctly in the first place? I really hope I don’t end up regretting eating that reheated lukewarm food sitting on top of a half-frozen hash brown. That’s my rant!"
