"We came to Peninsula Grill for my wife and her Mom’s birthday. (both on the same day) The hostess was sweet and greeted us and asked “whose birthday it was?” And was so excited when we told her we had two birthdays! She typed it into the computer, and we were seated, and received drinks. We then waited around 40 minutes for bread. We were surprised to see multiple couples and groups who arrived after us receiving their entrees, and ended up waiting around an hour and 30 minutes for ours. We were not checked on by our waiter, and received dinner without an opportunity to order additional drinks AND we had waters empty. At this point, we were a little frustrated. The food was great, but our service was next to nothing and our waiter was surprised when we didn’t want to order any dessert, having been sitting there for near on 2 hours at this point. The phrase that we kept feeling was that we were not prioritized, even with two birthdays seated at the table. We were surprised at the low level of service we received as we’ve heard great things, but unfortunately we will not be recommending or coming back to Peninsula Grill ever again."

"We were late for our reservation, but Chuck's kindly held the table for us. Tableside Caesar salad was amazing. Our mains were bit of a wait, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they appeared shortly after. Amazing food and portions were well suited. Our steaks were perfectly done! Due to the small delay in our mains, manager sent over a sinful skor Sundae that although we were much too full for, we devoured. Excellent service and kudos to management for staying on top of service."

"We have loved the BD up until this last visit. We go ther because they are typically allergy friendly. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies. The food is usually wonderful and the staff is responsive. This visit, we informed our server of the issues. Sadly, my wife received her meal with a bun and her salad had cheese on it. They fixed the sandwich, but my wife didn’t discover the cheese until she had eaten some. We even asked the server if she was confident the egg on the salad did not have blue cheese in it. We spoke with manager and he comped my wife’s meal, but I was less concerned about that than my wife being sick for a week plus. I know staffing is particularly difficult now, but when it comes to food and patron safety there should not be any shortcuts"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"This is an excellent breakfast spot! I had a fantastic meal here; the food was hot and fresh. I ordered the classic breakfast, which included eggs, ham, and a generous portion of French toast. The French toast was massive, and my eggs were cooked to perfection—I ordered them over medium. The service was friendly, and our food arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy. The coffee was also impressive—strong and flavorful. Everyone in my group enjoyed their breakfast, and I would definitely recommend this place. The prices were somewhat high, ranging from $15 to $20 for most meals."

"We arrived at around 530-600pm for dinner. The Dockside was busy but was able to be seated right away.. They got us to our table and let us know that our server would be with us shortly. Five minutes passed and Grant our server for the evening took our drink order and gave us another 5-10 min to look over the menu. We ordered the Shrimp Nachos the small serving which it shortly arrived within minutes of placing the order. One note here..we ordered the small and if youhave a party more than 3 you better order the large portion, ours was devoured in minutes. Grant let us know that he put in our meal after we received the shrimp nachos so we didn't get our meal while still working on our appetizer. Grantwas polite,kind and helpful.. He checked back with us before,through and after our meal even sensed when my kiddos drinks were nearing empty. Ask for Grant! Best server to date!"

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"We had a reservation and were seated right away near the fireplace. The seats were comfy for kicking back but not for sitting up to eat. My wife, who is short, had to sit on the edge of the chair to be up enough to eat. Her steak was really good. My chicken pasta not really great. It was a bit salty and just average pasta sauce. The chicken was a smaller portion that was grilled. It was okay. Nothing I would order again."

"Definitely try STK Miami Beach if you love great food! My husband and I had dinner at STK in Miami Beach on 4/1, while on vac. Our food was delicious and the restaurant vibe was great- but our service was a tad slow. We casually mentioned it and the Manager- Fred Cabrera- immediately sent us a yummy dessert and personally checked in on us more than one time. We were really impressed at how much our overall experience and feedback was valued. I had the salmon, which was delicious. My husband had a filet- which was cooked perfectly. The mashed potato side was the best we have ever eaten!! We live in Louisiana and are used to good food- and this met our very picky food quality standards! We will be back!"

Located in an historic stone mansion that once was run as a nunnery, it offers commanding views of the St Lawrence River and a lovely terrace for dining as well when weather permits. "Truly fine food served in a very professional manner at an historic setting. A walk through the grounds and seeing the historical pictures are a must. When we entered the Garden Patio there was a smoke from a decorative fire that was taken care of when we commented as we were seated. The food served was perfectly created and each of four different requests were thoroughly enjoyed."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"I met an old friend here to watch a hockey game, and we had a great time. The service was excellent, and the food was quite good. I tried the chicken wings, which I would rate a 6/10, but the shrimp tacos were fantastic—definitely a 9/10! My friend had the half chicken, and while he enjoyed it, he mentioned that it was a bit dry. They also offer a nice selection of drinks and beers. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, but I would definitely return for the outstanding service and those tacos!"

"Pampano Is always excellent. Delicious and creative Mexican seafood in midtown Manhattan, One of my favorite dishes is the shrimp quesadilla--served open face with light salad, amazing sauce and perfectly cooked. It is the perfect choice for lunch. Homemade guacamole and chips, prepared however you desire is fantastic. I enjoy taking business partners here since they are always pleased with their meals. Consistency makes the difference. On nice days, consider sitting outside on the deck--you won't be sorry."

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. "I decided to take a break on Asian food for a week and tried Italian food, N O R E G R E T S! ?Upon arrival, I had one party ahead of me and was seated after 15 minutes (the place was pretty packed). Waiter was nice and patient in explaining the menu as this was my first time coming to any Olive Garden branch (I didn 't know they are a multichain restaurant prior to my visit here).Anyhow, when I started ordering, the first thing I noticed about this place is that all of their soup dishes ? and salads ? are free refills! I immediately thought, "Wow! I mean I have heard of free water/tea refills but soup dishes and salad? Impressive! ??We ordered: Shrimp Scampi First time hearing Angel hair, so wanted to see if the name is only half the story and I was impressed with the texture. The Shrimp were fresh, tender and most of all seafood smell was not present. The sauce on this dish was a tad bit sour/ salty (maybe that 's how scampis are? Weird combination, but I thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless)! 6oz Sirloin The dish I was most looking forward to! I got my steak cooked to medium well. The meat seasoning felt just right. Texture was tender and juicy. The pasta that came along with it was creamy but it was alright (probably because the steak was too good).I would recommend this place if you want to try an Italian/American fine dining experience! ?"

"The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. We always find the prices to be reasonable. The restaurant was bustling with customers and the service was excellent. "I had made reservations a week in advance for my wedding anniversary. We were seated immediately in a noisy area where we could hear conversations from other customers and employees throughout our entire meal. Despite having three different servers attending to us, they were unable to bring us bread. I asked multiple times to different people, but our bread only arrived after we had finished eating, and it was cold. We felt ignored and invisible during our meal. This used to be our go-to restaurant for weekends, but we left feeling extremely disappointed. We will not be returning."
