"From what we saw from the plates being served to our fellow diners, we thought that ample portions would be the norm. The onion ring appetizer did not disappoint lots of them, fried to perfection. However, my wife and I both ordered from the dinner specials menu, and what we received for the money spent was questionable. The Cape scallops were expected to be small, but the number served was incongruent with the price charged. I had about 6 small to medium size chunks of pot roast. We both had a baked potato, which was a good deal smaller then the ones brought to other customers. Our granddaughter had a kids meal with chicken fingers, cheese sticks and fries it almost looked as if she got as much food as we did. It appears that the establishment pushes specials and appetizers as an exercise in portion control load up on a cheaper offering, then maybe you won't notice the skimpy main course right down to delegating smaller potatoes to the cause. Despite all this, we're willing to give Lindsey's a second chance, but from the regular menu next time. It's clear from what we have seen that the restaurant is popular with locals and tourists alike for a reason. Hoping that we'll be able to experience that in the future.
