"The waiter was somewhat impolite initially but became friendlier towards the end of our meal. Unfortunately, they forgot to bring the side dish I had ordered and did not check on us throughout the meal. Additionally, there were several of us who wanted a glass of wine but struggled to get one."

"This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic old-world feel that transports you to a different era. Despite the snowy day, the lunch crowd was light, but the food was exceptional. The fresh, delicious bread and light, fragrant homemade minestrone were a hit. The shrimp dish was excellent as well. To top it off, our waiter surprised us with a delicious dessert adorned with a chocolate message for my girlfriend's birthday. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant."

"I enjoy this restaurant a lot, the building and inside space are very attractive. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I do find it extermely noisy; simple table talk is difficult with the ambient noise of other people simply talking to each other at their tables. Noise abatement on the walls or ceilings would help this significantly. The food is very good, but $21 for a moderately size bowl of farrow with no meats is exorbitant, considering the restaurnt does not provide anythin like bread, breadsticks, etc. to nosh while waiting for your order. Our order consisted of two items, farrow and gumbo mixed all proteins , and the cost was $61.76 !!! with a 20% tip, becasue the staff is not responsible for the costs, noise, or offerings or lack thereof . The food can take a while to be served; we ordered prior to noon and waite almost 20 minutes for our two orders farrow and the gumbo."

"we were here earlier and had a great time with great food, about a year ago. there's something changed. the carpaccio was pasty, the wagyu flat iron steaks were hard and cold, and the framed spinat and mushrooms lacked salt / flavor. and the garnelen sampi steak that hit with the huge garnels was insensitive, the garnels were so overcooked that I literally had to bite as hard as I could get through the first one and I could not do the first. they were friendly enough to take the price of garnel from the bill. the ambiente was overwhelming, the piano player played so loud to override the gas house that everyone had to scream over him. it was as loud as a sporty one. my man, who is hard to hear, could not hear anything I said all the meal, and his service dog was also very concerned. overall, for a meal near $300 for 2 people with wein, appetizer, 2 main courses, 2 pages, and still a generous tipp for the waiter (that was not his fault, so why short him in a tipp,) we were incredibly disappointed and will not return."

"Delicious dinner @atlanticfishbos • Whole Branzino $44 (9/10) • Crab queso special $28 (9/10) • Chowder Cup $10 (9/10) • Lobster Ravioli $42 (7/10) • Crab cake side $9 (9/10) • Sangria $18 (8/10) • Old Fashioned $18 (8/10) We strolled in on a Tuesday night without a reservation right before 5pm they were able to squeeze us in. Karina, our waitress, was amazing after hearing our chatter around appetizers she tempted us with the crab queso, which was divine. The only thing I did not love was the lobster ravioli, I just wish the dish had a bit more flavor. Overall great experience, highly recommend when in the Boston area."

"Great atmosphere. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is varied and the plates are visually a treat. The food is flavorful and portions substantial just like one would expect at a bistro. When we've gone to LZ there's usually live music and we've have been rewarded by top notch performances. Joe Morocco and his trio are superb. Steve Heck is excellent as well."

"My husband and I were visiting from Canada and having a night out. This was by far the work experience I have had at a restaurant. First we had ordered a bottle of wine in which the one we chose the did not have three times till they finally had something and the waitress just said” we keep telling the owner to change the list” the appetizers were decent but our main course was awful! My chicken was raw and when returned the cook said it was cook when by the bone was completely raw. Rather than apologizing the server said the cook Told me it takes 20 mins to cook and should be the middle temperature of the Chicken. Basically accusing me of lying. They took my meal and put the chicken back in the grill to the point it was so over cooked and could barely cute into it without a struggle."

"The waiter Mike was awesome. The bartenders were super quick with our drinks when we first got there. The hostess was sweet. So service was stars. My boyfriend said the bread was fantastic. We had the Valentineâs Day pre fix menu. I had the char broiled oysters which were good but a little too salty. My bf had the seared tuna salad which he said was good. For dinner I had the beef oso bucco with saffron risotto. I liked the beef not the risotto. He had the duck and again said it was good. Brownie dessert and poached pear dessert were just ok. The tables were a little too close for my taste. It was like we were eating with the people next to us. Finally the noise level was high. There was a large table next to us that was extremely loud and absolutely had too much to drink. I had to scream at my bf at one point for him to even hear me. That wasnât enjoyable. Itâs not the restaurantâs fault I guess but it wasnât an easy relaxed dining experience. I might go back but Iâm not really sold on this place."

"I love the food here! The atmosphere is not really my thing (kind of bougie) but the food is fantastic. The guacamole they make at your table is the best I have ever had (be sure to tip the person who makes it). I also got the ahi caesar salad which is my favorite thing on the menu. The ahi has such great cajun flavor. It's amazing. The service has always been good. I have always sat in the bar (first come/first served tables). Kind of pricey but the food is definitely worth it!"

"Let’s start with the drinks. We ordered two Manhattans. One was full and one was not. Someone had obviously spilled nearly half of the second one but they brought it to our table anyway. The Hanger Steak and Fries were bad. The steak was very tough and grizzly. I had to spit out my first bite. I did not even finish one piece. All of the fries were oily and soggy and not edible at all. It was obvious I didn’t eat anything on my plate and mentioned it to the waitstaff when they cleared our table. But, nobody seemed to care. We left feeling invisible and not appreciated. I sent an email to the Restaurant that same night and never received a reply."

"We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Dudley’s tonight. I had the Sunday Supper the salmon mousse was a perfect starter. It was served on slices of endive with a light sauce. The Mahi Mahi was light and paired well with the Hawaiian rice. The papaya lemon slice was the perfect ending to the meal. The Sunday Supper is a great deal at $40 for 3 courses. My husband enjoyed the steak, always his favorite. Our cocktails were prepared well. Lane was our server tonight. She was attentive and pleasant and she answered our questions about the entrees honestly. . She helped to make our dinner part of a lovely Sunday at Dudley’s."

"Delivery driver said food was delivered and it was not. Delivery driver is NOT tracked through Grub-hub and is done independently by the restaurant. Was too late to reorder. Driver did NOT call upon arrival and did not answer when called to ask where he had placed the food. Honestly really disappointing that when calling the restaurant the women who picked up the phone was combative and first said it wasn’t within their control, but then said they would speak to the delivery driver. Just from the customer service— 1 star. Will not be ordering from here again."

"for the best wobble soup they come here. the restaurant is beautifully designed and eating is always better. the duck with acidic crunches was amazing as the earthy. the service is excellent. sitting is exceptionally comfortable. my mother can't eat whole things, so I usually share with her. I then asked to share the duck breast in the kitchen they did beautifully. the restaurant operates and serves as a traditional French bistro. that means they are open to breakfast lunch and dinner. they also have a wonderful bakery if they want only coffee and a delicious bake or gelato."

"Bijou 400 Broadhollow Rd. Melville, NY 11747 (631)755 5777 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AN AMAZING TIME ONCE AGAIN. Thanks Wayne Martini for letting me know about the car show and DJ Sal Scott. 7pm reservation and was running so late. Julie (Hostess) was very helpful is changing my reservation 3 times to a later time. 8:30pm. I got there but Julie was gone but of course I left $5 w/mgr Paul. Easy name to remember. That's my hubby's name. Paul was awesome. Very friendly and all smiles. Hostess Lucianna greeted me. I so love her lashes and she was so you happy and all smiles. Very chipper. Great personality. She too got a tip $3. I feel it's great to tip the hostess for when they are nice and helpful to you. I always do. I see Lia(server) and server from last Sunday Brunch. She again was our server but I again tip her $5 to show appreciation. We get seated and I'm dancing on my seat. I make sure to introduce myself to DJ Sal Scott. Lovely fella. Mike says hello to me as well. His the bouncer/security. Omg. He's huge but was a lovely guy. Teddy bear. So so nice, friendly and charming. He introduced me to another security staff that used to be a model. Very lovely fella as well. Nice pretty white front teeth. There was another security guard. Young man that helped take a video for me. I'm so grateful. Thank you so much. Forgot I had my hubby there to take pics videos. Lol. Once again great atmosphere, gorgeous and well dressed guests. Now the food. AMAZING. We get our food but unfortunately there was a misunderstanding. Chan (Mgr) resolved the issue and server still got 20% tip even though he wasn't really around. I saw Oscar and laughed about the error of me calling him Julio for that the name for my primary Dr. He laughed saying no problem. Brussels Sprouts A little crunchy w/garlic and very tasty. Asparagus wonderfully cooked and Parmesan cheese on top. Crispy Fried Calamari w/pepper my absolute fav so delicious. Crispy but soft with a bite. Perfection. Rock Shrimp Fried Shrimp w/peppers delicious sauce. French Fries Golden Crispy French Fries and soft in the middle. I have Mayo with it. Lamb Chops Herb crusted cooked to perfection. "The food was decent. I had the garlic chick’n. The flavor was pretty good, but the mock chicken was very rubbery and not the best texture. The vegetable tempura roll was very good! Portions were a good size, too. There is a small sign out front with a list of vegan options, including the mock meats (chicken, beef, duck). My specific server did not know what I was talking about when I mentioned the mock meats, but the chefs did and seemed pretty well-versed in veganism and communicated options very well. The server DID know what vegan meant, though; when I asked about vegan options, she’s mentioned that they can prepare dishes cooked with water, without chicken broth, without meat, and without egg. They only had the mock chicken when I was there and not the mock beef or duck. Overall, pretty good but not my favorite. I would rather go to Vegreen if I have the option!"
