"Ate with friends before a concert. Our waitress seemed very busy but once we were waited on, things flowed smoothly. Delicious small plate GF shrimp and portion size was shareable for sure. Ordered the 12 oz pork chop thinking I wouldn’t be able to finish it but it was so delicious, I ate it all. The brownie dessert was also shareable and absolutely delicious. Planning to return next month before another concert!"

"We had a wonderful evening. It was so nice sitting ourside on a ;mild evening. However, an older man sat down next to our table and had severnal cocktails and then began to complain about the noise at our table (we were a party of 5 with a well-behaved 8-year-old). He started to get nasty, but the restaurant knew him well and basically asked him to stop his beligerence. The restaurant could not have been more understanding our situation. The situation handled so professionally. We love Arte Cafe."

"Ate here w our kids and had a nice meal. Kids had a buffet designed for them which worked out great and. Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier."

"The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere with a small, but thoughtfully curated, beer selection. The food is top-notch as well; while the starters may be a bit pricier than your average gastropub, they are worth it for food enthusiasts looking for complex and flavorful dishes. This place is a hidden gem in the outer mission / Bernal area, offering delicious snacks, cocktails, and beer. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the neighborhood."

"The restaurant has a very dedicated great staff. We were there on NYEve so it was unusually noisy filled with kids. Not the restaurant 's fault (and they did the best they could but there was a table with maybe 12 adults and they sat there kids (about 12 ages 3-15? at the table next to us. The kids didn 't eat, or sit but ran around like crazy while the adults didn 't supervise and and their meal. I felt bad for the restaurant who clearly had to 'accommodate ' this unruly crowd and even though there was a lot of people waiting for a hibachi table, the 'adult 's at the 'adult ' table didn 't care. In any case, once that group left, the noise and chaos subsided and we had a wonderful fun time. For the record there were several kids at our table who were well behaved. This large group was just awful. Maybe the restaurant should insist kids sit w/ their parents next time? The food was yummy and chefs a lot of fun. We will go back but will reconsider the NYEve visit. Or maybe go later than 9pm to avoid these large child-filled groups."

"Our waitress had not only my table but also the two tables around me. In the two hours my self and my friends were there she only checked on us twice. We only got water refill once. But she constantly checked on the two tables around us no problem. Myself and another person i was with got bottomless mimosas and we only got one refill because that how little she came to our table."

"I honestly don't understand how this restaurant has the current ratings it does. I ordered Takoyaki, tempura udon, and Katsu donburi. The Takoyaki was small but decent. The Donburi was disappointing, with tough Katsu and dry rice. The sauce was overly sweet, and it seemed like they were using frozen ingredients. The udon seemed to be made from a market base with hot water, and the noodles were undercooked. The tempura was also below average, with thin-cut ingredients and shrimp that was almost paper-thin. It seems like they may not understand how Japanese cuisine should be prepared, or they simply don't care because their main customers are not familiar with it. The staff, however, were friendly."

"This was my first time ordering takeout from Asian Cuisine and I was THOROUGHLY impressed. I got the Mongolian Beef which was so tender with the perfect amount of spice, I also added lo mein which was only an extra $1.50, and the vegetables were so fresh. I also got an order of the crab ragoons 5 for only $4.25, they were so crispy and the filling was sooo creamy. They even gave me a complimentary vegetable roll which was also so crispy and fresh. I think I’m going to spend the rest of my night brainstorming what I’m going to order next time!"

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better chefs with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"We booked the Thanksgiving Buffet and drove 2.5 hours to get to check in at 4 with a reservation at 6 pm. My partner scoped out the restaurant once we'd settled in and came back with a very positive review—full tables of options, a fire crackling in the fireplace, good dessert table. However, by 6 pm, the buffet was literally picked over—for example, crackers for the cheese plate had dwindled to almost none, the spiral ham had winnowed down to almost the bone, the pie offerings were a sloppy mess and there were no plates. We had to wait for plates for both the buffet and the dessert tables throughout the meal. And we had to catch staff and ask that plates be taken away from our table when finished. No roaring fire—totally out and no one restoring it. Our main server said hello and then never returned to the table until they dropped the bill, saying there was a mandatory 20% tip that took our bill into an even more ridiculously high range. Long story short—we definitely 100% did NOT get what we paid for and we were very disappointed. We knew it would be a splurge, but we thought it would be worth it—and sadly, it was not."

"I recently dined at Black and Blue and found my experience to be mixed. The blueberry cheesecake was decent—comparable to what you might find at the Cheesecake Factory—but it didn’t offer anything truly unique. The porterhouse steak, which I had high hopes for, arrived overcooked and under-seasoned, falling short of the robust flavor one expects from such a cut. Additionally, I did not receive the creamy spinach dish that I ordered, and the chocolate lava cake tasted more like a protein cake than a rich, indulgent dessert. To top it off, the menu is overpriced for the quality of food served. Overall, while there were a few redeeming qualities, the inconsistencies in execution combined with the steep pricing left me less than satisfied with my dining experience. Parking: Mall parking."

"My husband and I had such a wonderful time dining here to celebrate my birthday. This was our first time here after a couple friends recommended it to us. The whole aesthetic of 18th 21st being in a back room was just so cool. I loved the 20’s style decor. The Mello trio was playing that night, and they were fantastic. I loved that even though the room was a bit small, the music wasn’t too loud at all. I am pretty sensitive to sound, so that was a big deal to me that I could enjoy live music without being overstimulated. Usually I want to leave restaurants right after I eat because of the noise, but instead I wanted to just hang out a bit and finish our drinks. The staff and our waitress, Justine (I believe) were awesome and wished me a happy birthday multiple times and even gave me a birthday card! We also each received a free glass of Prosecco. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I just had such a fun time. We’ll definitely be back again. They also are doing a special promotion during the holidays where you receive an envelope with a voucher for a free item (could be a free drink or even a free meal), but you can’t open it until you come back (sometime in mid January until early February). When you come back your waiter will open the envelope and then you can apply the voucher at that time."

"We (x4) dined at Davios last evening 12/28. We had reservations for 8 pm. The front of the house hostess had a long face, she barely spoke a word ..no eye contact whatsoever. This is no way to be welcomed into a fine restaurant. She nodded for us to follow her to our table where she quickly shoved menus at us and spun on her heels away. Our waitress wasn 't very friendly either, we ordered egg roll sampler appetizer. It never came. After she took our drink orders we didn 't see her again until she gave us the check. Another waitstaff delivered popovers to our table 40 mins after we were seated they were cold stale. Quickly followed by our meals. Which were brought to our table by yet another waitstaff. Our dishes were good, hot generous portions. No complaints there. We had: Filet, crab cakes, maine lobster risotto, tagliatelle with bolongese Braised short ribs. Our waitress finally showed up to ask if wanted dessert the check. The check did NOT show a charge for the lost appetizer therefore our waitress was aware we never received it... she brushed it under the rug..no mention. The restrooms both ladies mens were untidy.. We spent over $340 ..to feel as though we were a nuisance to the waitstaff. Such a bummer."

"We had one of the private rooms here as we were a table of 9 for lunch so needless to say we had a great spot at the restaurant. <br/ <br/ It was a Sunday lunch and the place seemed to only be 30% full. So if you want to avoid the rush, lunch on a Sunday afternoon is a good day to go. <br/ <br/ I ordered the Shorthorn 150D Rib eye $49) medium with no sauce. It was absolutely delicious as the texture was “melt in your mouth” and a good balanced beefy taste. It also came included with a generous side of chips. <br/ <br/ Others on my table ordered sauce $7) on the side and it’s large enough to share amongst 2 or 3. <br/ <br/ We shared an entree platter which was good to share amongst 4 adults. <br/ <br/ Didn’t need dessert or other sides. Everyone was full. <br/ <br/ Wine list was extensive and we enjoyed a few varieties to share over the course of lunch. <br/ <br/ Service was good. I didn’t feel any lengthy wait times on anything and a wait staff was always available when needed."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"Very Disappointing! We used to love going to Artisanal but this time we were taken aback and apparently other diners feel the same way. Usually, the restaurant is jam packed but on the night we were there it was maybe 30% at best. Service? It has never been great but now it is worse. Waitstaff is rude and indifferent. Food? It used to be good but now it is AWFUL. The menu has changed and not for the better. We started with the large seafood platter and that was a mistake. For $150 we got 10 oysters and 8 clams they were delicious! 8 teeny tiny shrimp, a teeny tiny lobster tail, a teeny tiny claw, 3 small pieces of crab and a "seafood salad ' that I cannot describe. We usually order this platter at Balthazar and are never disappointed. Here, very disappointed! The seafood salad had ingredients that just do not go w seafood. It left a bad taste in our mouths. Almost Indian type spices???? No mussels, no whelks. We would have been better to order 2 dozen oysters for $72. Onto the main course. No more steak frites! In place, my husband ordered hanger steak and it just wasn 't the same. A strong marinade and no frites! I ordered the lobster with cabbage and it was awful. I sent it back, got onion soup instead and it too was awful! It had an underlying taste like cabbage instead of the rich beefy cheesy onion taste. BTW, w a room in back with pounds and pounds of cheese, they put one skimpy piece of cheese on the soup! Last but least, the wine list was very overpriced! Bottles were extremely overpriced. I had a martini for $21.00 and my husband had a couple of glasses of chardonnay at $18.00 each. Way too much for the amount served and the 'casual bistro ' you 're dining at! I just looked online and realized why I was so disappointed w this awful and very expensive meal $300+ Terrance Brennan sold the restaurant to Sarid Drory. He is one of the original owners of The Waverly Inn and The Cub Room. Well, now there 3 restaurants I will not be returning to! STAY AWAY"

"I have been enjoying sushi and other delightful dishes from Mannen for years. The food quality is outstanding, with sushi that is both visually appealing and delicious. The staff is very friendly and always goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. I've consistently had great experiences dining in or ordering from Mannen, and I highly recommend it to others. Recently, after a disappointing encounter with a DoorDash driver, Mannen impressed me with their exceptional customer service by offering to remake my entire meal just before closing time. Their kindness and understanding really made an impact on me. I give Mannen a perfect 5 out of 5 stars."

"Drinks were amazing Crab cakes amazing Garlic shrimp. Couple shrimps way overdone and hard. My wife's steak was great Mine was overcooked and immediately replaced. Second steak was skinny and somewhat tough for sirloin unfortunately and was not rested and under seasoned. We love going to the keg usually. This was last min for us so seating was really nice in the lounge. Staff called us only a min after submitting a reservation to let us know timing for both lounge and dining. Was extremely thankful they did that. Please do not stop communicating like that! Keg staff are always awesome!"
