"I live in Pinellas County but make the drive here whenever I can, and it's always worth it. Today, I visited with my son, who is quite particular about food and restaurants (this was his first visit, although I had brought him a couple of breakfast sandwiches to-go from here last time), and he declared it his “favorite restaurant”! I consider myself to have a discerning palate as well. Every time I come here, the food is exceptional. I’ve tried the Ropa Vieja, which was outstanding, as well as the Cuban sandwich and the grilled chicken on Cuban toast, both of which were also excellent. The red beans were the best I’ve ever had, and my girlfriend, who is Colombian and knows her beans, completely agrees. I’ve sampled several other dishes here, and they have all been fantastic. In short, the food is amazing, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is delightful. I can’t wait to return!"
