"pros: delicious, flavorful food with diverse options huge portions (if you're lucky with the employee that's serving you) convenient location as it's near the rockefeller and time square train stations the space is clean and nicely lit cons: moody female workers. there is one guy employee who is cordial and professional. depending on the employee, they are very inconsistent with their servings. this needs to be looked into further because people are not getting their money's worth. especially with the recent price hike. expensive drinks slight inconsistent food quality. sometimes the rice will be stale or the chicken will not be as flavorful as it usually is. however, this situation happens very rarely. basically some of the employees need to be fired"

Quick service, a bit rushed due to lunch hours. Nice seating areas and solid food.

The portion of meat offered for the price is quite minimal. I ordered a large chicken meal, which cost nearly $16, and I only received one drumstick—the rest of the plate was mostly rice.

The Cuban Sandwich was good, but did not have any ham. The pork was tender and flavorful. Wish you would have ham croquetas and Mamey for a delish shake. Also the frijoles negros we're a bit too watery.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich along with rice and beans. The sandwich was visually appealing and had a nice texture, but in terms of flavor, it was rather mild. However, I really enjoyed the rice and beans. View menu

The food here is outstanding! The maduros, spicy chicken, and pork are all delicious, and the green sauce is incredible! The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is spotless. I highly recommend it if you’re reading this review!

One of my favorite lunch spots. I always get roast pork with plantains and rice and the portions are so generous (I could maybe do with more plantains) that I often save a third for a mid-afternoon snack. It’s not the best Cuban food you’ll ever have in your life, but if you’re in the area/you work nearby, definitely give it a try!

Love the food! Tried the Baked Chicken with Yellow Rice and Yucca. Decilious and affordable, and I recommend trying the yellow rice, yucca and fried banana!!! Customer service could definitely be improved. The server seemed like they were rushing me rudely which gave me so much anxiety, but who knows, it could've just been a bad day. View menu

We stopped in yesterday on the fly around 4pm Everything smelled and tasted delicious, however I didn’t really appreciate being yelled at and being rushed by one of the servers as she could tell 2 out of 3 of us in the store needing to order at the time were first timers and needed assistance with menu choices. -Signed disappointed tourist

Great Cuban sandwiches and when ordering the Pernil with yellow rice and red beans make sure you get their homemade green sauce to go. Just remember that it's much spicier then in past years so watch out. They also make a kickass Cafe Con Leche as well. The staff is friendly and accommodating when making your order. Don't forget to check their website for opening and closing times because they may vary. Highly recommended.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
