"This place has changed SO MUCH, I guess new Owners or something however when I went in to order place was nasty hasn't been cleaned, it has a very strong funky smell and I'm not speaking of Mary Jane?.I never seen gloves while handling customers food which is very unsafe because of you so touch your face and everything else while working. Also the chilli is so horrible. This Coney Island is one of the oldest in the area and it should be respectful of representation and give old and new customers the real meaning of Quality.Growing up in the Projects I remember everything from the 80's on through so please please kill the sanitation smell and let's renovate for improvements and let's remember every employee representation is the most important thing that a customer remembers."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend and I really loved the food. The crab cake benedict was absolutely delicious. It did take about 45 minutes for our food to arrive after we placed our order (we ordered the benedict and a basic breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, and pancakes), but it seemed like they were short staffed and very busy. The quality of the food more than made up for the wait, but just be aware that there may be a wait during weekend breakfast hours."

"This place is awesome, the employees are great, very nice people. We we're filming Law and Order SVU, I didn't want to eat free breakfast that production offered that morning, so I gave this place a shot. I ordered the #4 breakfast sandwich, 2 eggs with roast beef cheese and grilled onions. I took just 1 bite of the sandwich, and I was in heaven, so delicious. Again, instead of getting the free lunch, I decided to have lunch here. This time, I ordered the Staten Island hero, and got a side order of mac and cheese. Absolute work of art, I can't say anything bad about this place. Another great meal. If your in the area stop by, you won't be disappointed, and you'll leave very happy and full."

"To start things off, the breakfast burritos are good. The reason I’m writing a negative review is because of the cashier. There’s two of them but the younger taller well-rounded girl is quite rude. I usually go in there for breakfast burritos. I’ve been attended by her 3 times and each time I’ve gone to pick up my order she basically throws it on the counter I can hear it hit the counter. Its a heavy burrito. It’s almost as if she’s throwing me food like a dog. She either needs training on how to handle food and customers or she needs to be replaced. The other cashier that works there doesn’t do that to my food. I’m about to eat this food that I purchased from your amazing restaurant, It’s a pet peeve when I see people treating my food that way. Why do I want to keep coming back and being treated the same way. Even though the food outweighs the service I don’t like being treated that way and I know one person not going to the restaurant is not going to make a difference but hopefully this review will be brought to the owners attention how she’s treating her customers or possibly just me I have no idea. As much as I want to keep spending my hard earned money on their delicious food, today’s the last burrito I’ve ever buy from them thanks to her unprofessionalism."

"Dinner ..SAD 3 tiny pieces fish no bigger then the slice of lemon. You wouldn’t get away with this in the restaurant so DONT treat your to go orders like this. All 3 pieces might add up to a nice piece …and maybe a 1/2 order of fries..so disappointing…"

"Ok here 's the GIG. As a home town Hoosier here I 've tried just about everything and every diner I can. I live here. Gotta try everything you know! So many restaurants here in Bloomington and abroad are very good. Some are not. This place is no exception! It actually goes above and beyond traditional in terms of taste, quality of food, and home town service. The food here is Grade A. Fresh. From their greens to their meats. They got a connection or something. I 've been here now twice and both times off the chain excellent! I heard their steak burgers are one of the best you will ever try. I tried it today. They were correct. That was an amazing burger! This place is a hidden gem for good food! Your taste buds won 't regret it. I 'll be back! J.A. Bloomington IN"

"The good: I indulged in my guilty pleasure of chicken fried steak, and it was absolutely delicious! The breading was crispy and well-seasoned, the creamy and peppery gravy was delightful, and the mashed potatoes were homemade and tasty. My daughter, who is easily pleased at 7 years old, happily devoured her grilled cheese and fries. Despite the outdated decor, I found the small diner charming. We arrived early at 7 pm and the place was empty, but it quickly filled up. The pricing was reasonable and my meal came with a salad, soup, and a free dessert, providing great value for money. The bad: The salad that came with my meal was lackluster with wilted lettuce and too much ranch dressing. My boyfriend's cheeseburger was average, not particularly special, but he finished it nonetheless. Also, it was a bit challenging to get the waitress's attention for refills, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and will definitely return, perhaps for breakfast next time."

"Crepes—aren’t they just thin pancakes? Or maybe pancakes are just a type of crepe? My friend Laura told me about this place and suggested we take a day trip to Galesburg. She had been there before and couldn’t stop raving about it, insisting I needed to check it out. Without any hesitation, I agreed. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect and even now, I feel like I haven’t fully processed the interior of the restaurant. It had a somewhat upscale vibe, but there was also a terrace with outdoor seating that had a tropical feel to it—a bit of a contrast. Once we settled in, we started looking over the menu. I expected it to be more of a casual cafe menu, focusing on breakfast items, so I was surprised to find something more akin to a full restaurant. Initially, I planned to order breakfast, but after seeing the diverse menu, I was torn. Eventually, I opted for a grilled sandwich, either the White BBQ Chicken or Turkey Melt, paired with a side of chips. When my sandwich arrived, it looked quite simple. Meanwhile, I noticed what my friends had ordered and felt an immediate pang of “food envy.” But I reminded myself that it’s not about how food looks, but how it tastes in the end. I decided to try the chips first, which are a local favorite. They tasted incredibly homemade—very fresh. This made me eager to dig into my sandwich. What I initially thought was a basic plate presentation turned out to be misleading. The flavor blew me away. I remember thinking that this is what premium food tastes like—fresh ingredients without skimping on quality. I devoured my sandwich quickly; I finished mine before Matt or Laura were even halfway through their meals. I have to admit, I’m quite fast when it comes to food, especially when it’s delicious. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, around $12 per person, but the quality of the food made it worth every penny. If you can splurge a little for a great meal, I say go for it. We originally planned to indulge in crepes, but I ended up with a sandwich instead. My friends raved about the crepes, and I hope to try them someday. For now, I’ll savor the memory of that fantastic sandwich."

"We live right down the street but had never tried hot spot but they sent us a mailer so we decided to try. Great pizza. Cooked just to order. Friendly staff. Quick delivery. Good prices. I left a good tip and the drive was so grateful it was nice. We will definitely be ordering from hot spot again. Keep up the great work guys!"

"I ordered the Baked macaroni and cheese on a Friday. The color was extremely orange unlike most macaroni and cheese. It was served on a very hot plate but the food was barely even warm. It feels like they heated the plate, not the actual food as advertised on their menu. The taste was mediocre at best. It could have possibly tasted better if it was actually baked. The cheese did not taste like real cheese but more like from a can. This is not a dish I would recommend unless they actually serve it as advertised on their menu. I also tasted the grilled cheese, French fries and cole slaw which was really good. The best part of my Southfork experience was the awesome waitress Debbie Rose Dinardo. This waitress went above and beyond with a smile and just great service from her. Southpark, Debbie Rose Dinardo is a gem. Keep her busy!!Thank you Debbie!"

"It's hard to rate some places these days due to the lack of staffing. That being said, when I stopped by less than a quarter of the tables were full. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I ordered breakfast which was okay but not great. Only problems were the sausage was cold and the toast was soggy and cold when it arrived. Other than that everything was fine."

"The food here is excellent, and the service is consistently great and friendly. My only complaint is the sudden change in the fries used for the asada fries during my latest visit. They switched to sliced potatoes, which I wasn't a fan of at all. The toppings were, as always, fantastic, but I just didn’t enjoy the sliced potatoes this time. Overall, however, the food is really delicious. It’s definitely a place you should try if you’re local or in the area."

"I always receive excellent service when I visit this place. I usually order the bacon, egg, and cheese on a hero, and they consistently serve a generous portion of bacon. Additionally, their sandwiches are roughly $1 cheaper than those at other bodegas and delis I've tried in the Lower East Side. If you’re looking for a quick and affordable breakfast sandwich, this is the place to go!"
