"Anthony our server seemed overwhelmed , things were extremely slow from beginning to end. We had reservations and felt rushed at the end to leave by for the concert since everything dragged out all night long, we asked for our check when the dinners were delivered to help speed up things. Not sure how much was the servers fault or the bar/kitchen staff for the slow service. I picked M&S for us based on reputation and prior dining there years ago. I will give other restaurants a chance the next time I go downtown for dinner. Never saw a manager all night walking around checking things on the floor"

"After deciding street parking wasn’t the best option we put our names on the list and waited about 20 minutes to be sat. Our server had amazing energy, she let us know she was new but it honestly wouldn’t have crossed my mind the way she answered our questions and was sure about my allergy restrictions! I ended up ordering the steak salad, amazing! It wasn’t plated well and initially that put me off but after first bite I was blown away. The steak was tender and well marinated and the salad greens were all fresh and the dressing wasn’t overdone. I also ordered my signature green tea matcha latte, I did not love this one. The flavor was very earthy but not in the good way. We also tried the cinnamon pancakes! I am generally not a pancake person but these were next level, between the presentation and the actual flavors it caught me off guard. The Italian omelette was very flavorful and better than anticipated. I believe them when they say farm to table ingredients. Even the orange juice we ordered tasted fresh squeezed (read sour with pulp lol). Overall good experience and would recommend anyone in the area to have atleast one meal here!"

"What a wonderful, quaint restaurant! I've been here a handful of times since moving to the area, and each visit has been stellar. Of the various dishes I've had, none have been less than excellent. Whether it's their calamari, arancini, salads, pasta dishes, etc., it's all tasty, fresh, and generously portioned. Not to mention the courteous, warm service! This is a the perfect spot for a pleasant meal with intimate company, and I personally consider it my favorite restaurant in the area. And a very special shout-out to their server Tony, who continues to provide excellent service with a smile each time I visit!"

"My res was for 2 people at ~9:30pm on Opentable for Standard Seating and I noted that the special occasion was an “Anniversary”. After waiting for the hostess for 5 minutes and then another 5 mins, she then proceeded to sit us at a booth (meant for 4-6 people) and a few mins later said that we will be moved to a table for 2 soon when it’s available. Weird. We sat there awkwardly waiting and a few mins later we moved to the smaller table and ordered drinks. I kindly asked to remove the plates from our small table since we wanted more space for our drinks. The drinks came and not even 10 mins into enjoying them the hostess came back up to us and said something like “sorry but you need to leave the table if you’re not gonna order food because it’s for dinner only”…. NOBODY said anything about that when we ordered and nowhere on Opentable did it say 'dinner only ' or 'minimum spend ' or anything of the sort. They could 've kindly told us to order food and we 'd have ordered some appetizers. FYI there were 2 other tables available. We said we could move to the bar if there 's space so the hostess went to 'check '. 1 minute later the waitress (not hostess) casually drops off the check, not saying a word, which was extremely rude. At this point we were confused and angry. After flagging down the hostess again I told her that I want to finish my drink and asked why I just got the check. She said she can’t find space for us at the bar but we still have to leave. I have never been treated so poorly at a bar restaurant even though I’m from NY and have been to many bars and restaurants throughout the years. Absolutely no way to treat customers who were excited to be there, enjoy cocktails, and celebrating a special occasion. The drinks are quite pricey too- what a waste of money and time. I am still upset that our anniversary night was ruined like this and will I will never go back to Macao. Fix your customer service in the future or update your Opentable seating arrangements."

"Last night we celebrated my husband's birthday at McCormick and Schmick in Minneapolis. It was a fabulous evening with special menus with a happy birthday printed to my husband at the top. I started with the Millionaire Coffee that was great. Our server was wonderful. She knew the menu well and had a great sense of humor. We had a private stand that made it a little more intimate. We ordered a variety of appetizers from shrimp cocktails to Oysters Rockefeller. All were beautifully plated and tasty. The main courses met all expectations. I had the Ultimate Mixed Grill. The crab filled shrimps and the crab cakes were my favorites. We also had the North Atlantic Lobster Tails, Center Cut Filet Mignon, and I think the Palm Beach Mahi Mahi. All were beautifully presented and were beautifully seasoned and delicious. The desserts were a perfect way to complete a great culinary experience. Because it was my husband's birthday, he got a free Chocolate Volcano. Again, the presentation was great and she disappeared quickly. The rest of us shared the chocolate bag. White chocolate mousse, fresh berries and whipped cream in a bag of chocolate. It was absolutely decadent! We had an interesting conversation with more employees when we were gone. We never felt hurried. The whole evening was great and relaxed. My only complaint is that we were not told which pages came with each main course and did not say it on the menu. That is why we have ordered additional pages that we did not need. Apart from that, it was the perfect culinary experience."

"Great ambience and friendly waitstaff service. Food was mostly good but not exceptional. The Redfish was ok but made me grossly ILL 10 hours later and ruined half the next day. The calamari was over cooked but edible and the oysters Rockefeller tasted salty but good. Filet mignon was worth the asking price. Meal Service could be better overall; they all seem a bit afraid to smile. Emailed Landrys for the Redfish issue, but have yet to be contacted. I think my money will go to independent/ family run restaurants in the future."

"Our server was excellent, apologizing for the delay in receiving our drink orders do to short staff. The room is clean and welcoming with our table comfortable. Our appetizer, fried calamari was excellent although it was a surprise to have it have vegetables include in the mix. Well prepared. This is where it went downhill. The Scallops order was incorrect, although prepared well enough, it was the wrong order. This was the better of the two. I ordered the the Cioppino. The dish arrived and was beautiful to look at. That is about it. Of course it is partly my fault as it isn 't crab season however this was the most tasteless and tired crab I ever had. Obviously frozen (unfortunately for a long time). The minute I ordered it I know it was a mistake. The rest of the seafood was poor at best. Frozen and possibly refrozen shrimp. Tired mussels which looked like they had all of the life pulled out of them, ok clams, barely there fish which I guess was a replacement for the scallops noted in the menu. It had been years since I used to visit this place (happily) with my parents. They should not be allowed to have the name Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto . I was pleased to see McCormick Schmick took over this establishment, having visited the Tigard Oregon restaurant however Spenger 's must have missed the memo. Will not be back."

"Greenleaf Kitchen and Cocktails is a place that lives up to its reputation for quality cuisine. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was welcoming and the staff was friendly and attentive. The standout dishes for me were the Caprese Sandwich, the Steak plate, and the pork tacos. Each dish was expertly crafted, using fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The Caprese Sandwich was simple yet delicious, with juicy slices of tomato, creamy mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil. "At the time I had dinner here, I was skeptical of the 3 star Yelp rating. I’ve never seen a fine dining steakhouse rated this low. Raw Oysters: 4/5 The restaurant had 5 different types of oysters from Massachusetts. When ordering different raw oysters, servers typically tell us what’s what. Instead, our server just dropped it off. Calamari: 4/5 pretty standard, hard to mess up Craft Beer Battered Fish Chips: 2/5 The batter wasn’t crispy fish not good. Center Cut Filet Mignon: 2/5 My medium rare ordered steak was medium well, a mistake steakhouses know not to make. It was the worst steak I’ve ever had at a steakhouse, fine dining or casual. Lobster Tail: 2/5 It was sad looking. Lobster Mashed Potatoes: 4/5 Service: 2/5 I suggested the $88 The Grand Seafood Platter that serves 2 4 people to my wife. It was a blatant inappropriate upsell without regard for my group that left me with a sour taste. The table wasn’t properly cleared. Old drinks weren’t taken away when new ones were brought. The table looked like a mess. It wasn’t a high end experience. Ambiance: 3/5 My wife isn’t as critical as I am, but we both said we wouldn’t come back."

"We dined at Catch NYC to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The food was exceptional. We enjoyed truffle sashimi, several sushi appetizers, a salad, red snapper, branzino, and octopus. The branzino and truffle sashimi were particularly outstanding. For dessert, we sampled the Hit Me chocolate cake and the Carnival, both of which were delicious. We were seated on the rooftop, which had a lovely atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely return for more."

"The vibes on the inside/outdoor patio setup are amazing. I really felt like we were in Europe! I went here on a date but there were lots of big dinner and birthday crews too. The drinks were great and 3/4 of the dishes we got were amazing. The gnocchi waspretty bland and very small for how much it cost, it didn?t taste like there was a dash of salt in the dish. "The dressings and the paleo chicken fingers are good. Although the chicken was super dry. My friend enjoyed the Greek salad. I made a build your own with 3 ingredients totally and barely got any of them so it was mostly just lettuce and balsamic vinaigrette for $20… nothing was necessarily terrible but I just felt like I could build a better salad at home and not spend the crazy amount of money they charge. I would try it again in person instead of DoorDash maybe? Either way for the price they just should be doing more to make their salads full and their chicken not so dry and bland."

"Went here for Christmas dinner and overall we weren't impressed. Had to park in the parking garage across the street. "Dinner on Christmas day. Appreciate everyone being there to serve us. The entrees, filet mignon and Crab and Shrimp stuffed Salmon were good. The salads, Walnut mixed greens, were average, a different mix of greens might have helped, the addition of grapes would definitely be good. My wife's side of seasonal vegetables was not very good. The cheesecake was good, the upside down candied walnut apple pie had a lot more crust than filling. We were in a large room filled with tables and the noise level was pretty high. In the past we have been in a booth in a different section and it was much more pleasant. Our waiter did not get by very often, however I would say that the restaurant was overbooked for the staff that they had so I did not blame that on him. Overall an average meal, not as good as their Thanksgiving meal in 2021. We will give them another try at a later time."

"I came to this restaurant because I have been to a different location and had a great meal. Here, however, was different. I should have known that dinner wouldn't be up to expectations when I made a reservation and was seated at a not so ideal location. It took awhile before the waitress greeted us and gave us water. The meal was fine, the mac cheese is absolutely delicious and so was the chocolate martini. I also love the asparagus side. I got the salmon and my bf got the steak. Then we handed the waitress cash for our bill. We wanted change for the bill portion plus change for a $50 that would go towards tip. The change for the bill portion came back but the change for the $50 never did. We questioned it and the waitress denied that there was ever a $50 in the bill for her to break. We were disappointed that she had supposedly spoke with the manager yet he never came over to speak with us after what was a lackluster to meal anyways. Not a locale I plan to visit in the near future."

"The food was good, not the greatest at least for the price I paid. I had the 20 oz. bone in ribeye. I’ve definitely had a better steak elsewhere but this wasn’t bad. It was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The service was the category that took the worst hit. It was a really busy Thursday night and we had a waitress that was new. God bless her heart but it took forever for our food to come out, we had separate checks that were wrong, it was just a nightmare scenario for her. We all still tipped her decently as she was trying her best. I think on a night like that, the restaurant experienced staff definitely needs to shadow the new employee. The manager was nice and she offered us free desserts, all decline except two of us. It would of been nice for all the trouble to at least have the most problematic order on the house. One of my co workers didn’t eat till we about finished with our food. Don’t let this review scare you away though as I’m sure the waitress gained a lot of experience last night on how to handle another situation like that. The staff was friendly, the food was good, and good times were had."

Server had dirty glasses on table and had to ask him to remove them. Ice server was told desert was not needed. We were still eating and he left the check to be paid.
