"I had the Thai wrap and it was amazing—so flavorful! It was so delicious that I ended up eating it too quickly and got full really fast, haha. I couldn't finish the other half. I also loved how it was paired with fruits. Robin was my server and she was so much fun; I really enjoyed her company. It felt like I was relaxing at the beach with great people. Overall, I had a fantastic time hanging out with Robin!"

"I typically have fantastic experiences at Oberweis and always look forward to visiting when I'm near one, but I was let down this time. I faced complications while ordering my usual customized banana royale, something I've been ordering for over 20 years. The new system attempted to charge me for substituting ice creams and toppings, but fortunately, the manager intervened when I raised my concerns. Although my preferred flavors made it into the dish, the whipped cream was flat, and instead of pecans, I received peanuts—definitely not what I wanted. The ice cream was also too soft, resulting in a presentation that was a mess, as you can see in the picture—something that should never have been served. To top it off, the banana was overly ripe and mushy. I hope this was just an isolated incident due to staff needing more training, as I have always been impressed with every location in the past."

"Sausage gravy: way way way too much flour... arrived barely warm. Sausage patties: well done and at the doorstep of burned. Served barely warm. Biscuits: large with just a hint of doughiness in the middles, not baked recently as the shortening had firmly set. Arrived room temp. Eggs: arrived room temp, no seasoning, bland. And then the haybale' hashbrown. A wad of al dente potato shreds, compressed into a cube then fried i guess. The inside was gummy, cool with some grey flecks which might have been oxidized potato starch. Coffee was good. Total bill was over $20. I tipped the waitress well, but should have called the food police on the kitchen. Dreadful."

"This is the best ice cream shop within at least a 15-mile radius, and possibly even farther. Their selection is outstanding, and the quality of the ice cream and ingredients is exceptional—nothing else in the area can compare. My personal favorites include the brownie sundae, chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, and cookie dough. I'm not sure how they are connected to the burger place next door, but their location is perfect. Just remember to enjoy lunch or dinner before indulging in dessert!"

"We ordered a fudge brownie and a triple chocolate shake, and oh my goodness, we were blown away. Probably the best American ice cream I've ever had. Pretty sure I blew through my daily calories eating dessert, but it was so worth it. The decor was fun they had chess boards incorporated into several tables as well as other board games available. The glasses the ice cream is served in are fun, too. They basically have a full dairy aisle as well, which looked great. From what I saw, they do container recycling for their milk bottles, which I love. They have a drive through and it looked like delivery options as well. I highly recommend visiting at least once. "Went in today to get a coconut Sundae I have been craving for months and haven’t been able to get there . They don’t have coconut by the scoop so I still ordered a Sundae , their ice cream is good and as well as their hot fudge but after craving it for soo long their was soo little hot fudge , I ate the 2 bites with the fudge and now have just a bowl of ice cream . "This weekend, my friends and I went on a dessert and candy spree during our hangout, and we quickly decided that we absolutely had to get ice cream here. "While the ice cream was fantastic and the young lady that took our order, Andrea, was efficient, that was all that was enjoyable about our visit, as we were walking in all the tables outside had not been cleaned up, we walked in and the garbage was piled up and observed ALL tables were dirty and had dishes on them, we brought this to Andrea's attention, she smiled and said she would have someone take care of it. A young man named David, came out from the back and asked what table we would like to sit at, with a terrible attitude, I stated that whichever ones are clean because they were all filthy. He cleaned 1 table, only ONE, and went to the back. When we arrived there was 1 couple there and 1 person in the driveway and 4 employees at 1035pm, so they weren't busy. Once we received all our ice cream a family of 5 walked in and then an older couple, I realized they had no where to sit, so I waited until their orders were taken and saw the team leader, Thomas, I expressed to him that the tables were still filthy and that his team member only came to clean 1 table off. He smiled and said he knew and that they had a pretty busy day and couldn't get to it, I told him we brought it to the employees attention and they were all still dirty, and now they had other customers that needed a place to sit, he said they were swamped and brushed it off, when again it was almost closing time. I let him know I would be contacting someone the next day, again he didn't seem to care. The older couple that came in ended up sitting at a table that was dirty. Closing time came went and still nothing was being cleaned, my children asked Andrea for a to go container and she was moving things and cleaning the back while the other 2 employees came out and grabbed a drink from the place next door and used the restroom. Still no cleaning had been done, and I noticed David just standing at the burger place next door speaking with the one employee over there. We went to purchase some milk and went to leave, David was still talking, so I went to get his name and left."

"Disappointing visit this past weekend. We came here because jarliings had a long wait and we didn?t feel like waiting, big mistake. First, Although the line wasn?t very long the wait would have been the same at the other place. Second, They are definitely under staffed and its sad to see the employees stressed out. Third, it was hotter inside the building then outside. My ice cream was melting inside the store it was so hot. Again back to the employees Seeing them stresses and sweating wasnt ideal. Lastly the ice cream was terrible. The texture was off for me, tasted like the ice cream set out and dried and then was re-frozen leaving a chewy texture. And the hot fudge sundae is made with syrup and not fudge. I ended up throwing my ice cream away. Overall my experience was terrible and i wont come back. For half the cost I could?ve went somewhere else. I?ve been to an oberweis before in the suburbs and it was great so im not sure why this store?s ice cream taste different. The only reason why im giving this place 3 stars instead of 1 is because despite the set backs the employees were kind and hard working. Definitely needs better management and organization to help with the quality issues."

"I want to either be told we no longer carry Espresso Caramel Chip or that this place is out of that particular. What I don?t want, is someone giving me random flavors of other types. I do not get mad when it turns out you ran out of the flavor, I get mad when you try to give me a random flavor. They have given me Cookie dough, M&M, and even Black Cherry. Three separate times, three separate employees, and three different flavors. I don?t want reparations for my ice cream, I want change so that you?ll tell me you are out of the flavor I want."
