"DON'T be fooled by the cute decor and curb appeal that this restaurant puts out there. I was so excited to try this place out, and I was disappointed within the first 15 minutes. I honestly wish I had just gotten up to leave instead of ordering food. There are sooo many amazing places in Midtown/Wynwood and I wish I had spent my money elsewhere. For starters, I'd give thefood 3 stars, and the service 1 star. The service was HORRIBLY slow. I arrived by myself and was seated immediately. It was aTuesday night around 8:30pm, and there were only 4 tables occupied, 3 of which had only one person seated (myself included). Sothere were MAYBE 10 people in total at the restaurant. All of this considered, I never got water (I eventually asked for itafter 30 minutes) and I sat twiddling my thumbs by myself waiting for the male server to eventually come around and take myorder. He couldn't have cared less about his job or the people waiting for him to come around to their tables. He would standaround chatting with coworkers or just....stand there....consequently delaying bringing out food to the table with a handful ofpeople. I noticed that 4/6 people at the table got their entrees, but the other 2 were left waiting an additional 15 minutesuntil their food came out. Yikes. Not a place for groups, I guess? After finally ordering my appetizer and an entree, it tookforever to get my food out to the table which makes me curious how long it takes for customers to get their food when therestaurant is crowded. My meal finally came, but wayyyyy before the super simple appetizer that I ordered, which eventuallyarrived 15 minutes later. The server never checked if I liked the food (I like the entree, hated the app which is sayingsomething because I rarely come across a food I don't like). I sat and ate my food while the empty tables around me had trashand empty plates sitting on them during the entirety of my time at this restaurant. Talk about a vib"

"There are so many reasons why I go to Mariners Cafe almost every single day. The coffee and lattes are so amazing here, and they have some of the best banana bread that I’ve ever had! I also had my sister come out to visit, and when I took her to Mariners Cafe, she mentioned that the breakfast sandwich here was the best breakfast sandwich that she’s ever had too!Everything is made fresh and tastes absolutely amazing. I also never have to wait long at all for my coffee or food. I often put my coffee order in online as I’m walking up to the cafe, and it’ll be sitting and waiting for me on the counter by the time I walk in the door! The pizza is another favorite of mine, and they have lots of delicious salad options to go along with it.The amazing coffee and food is one thing, but the staff here is absolutely phenomenal! Rosa goes so far above and beyond! She always remembers the names of my kids, and goes out of her way to say hi to us and make us feel so special whenever we come in. Rosa even surprised both of my kids with gifts one day at the cafe after she heard that my daughter was born. That meant so so much to me!And no matter how busy they are in there everyone makes an effort to say hi to us and ask how we’re doing. I can’t thank the staff here enough for how special they make my son feel just by saying hi to him and remembering his name.I highly recommend Mariners Cafe, and getting to know the staff here is an added bonus. Everything from the food to the customer service is the absolute best! And a huge thank you to Mariners Cafe for all of the amazing coffee, food, and wonderful hospitality! "Rowan Tree is a really interesting experience. I loved their coffee shop/ flower shop. The coffee was great! I'm giving it 3 stars because we had a bit of a disappointing experience on the wedding front. I started speaking with Lori about flowers for my small wedding in late October (my wedding is in oct 21 and I wanted to have the florist booked a year out). I gave her my ideas and then we drove out to meet her the first week of November. She had INCREDIBLE ideas and we really were set on using Rowan Tree for our wedding. She told me she'd have a quote to me by the middle of the week (first week of Nov) and went as far as to encourage me to book all my vendors ASAP as October 21 will be very busy with all the delayed COVID weddings. I never heard from her the following week. I reached out after two weeks and she said she was waiting for a vendor response and would get back to me after the holiday..which I understood. She finally got back to me in mid december with a half completed quote. She needed some more information from me and said after that she would finalize the quote. I responded that day but never heard back. After another week and a half went by I wrote her again (this was december 21st). She said she'd respond after Christmas. It's now February, 5 months after I initally reached out and I STILL haven't recieved completed pricing. At this point I have booked with another florist who was much quicker to respond. It's disappointing espeically because we really liked Rowan Tree and wanted to work with them. Hopefully this was just because we're a small wedding and doesn't happen to others."
