"I've been coming to this place ever since they first opened and love them. Their food is authentic, fresh, and always served quickly and piping hot. I'm shocked reading all the negative reviews as that has not been my experience throughout the many years that I've been coming here. I also have always found their service to be attentive, friendly, and courteous. A+ It makes me wonder why all the poor reviews and question if whether they truly know authentic Thai food, the chef had an off day, or if the reviewers have some sinister agenda to try to defame this business. As for me, I'm a foodie, and I know and love Thai food. I've spent 3 weeks traveling through Bangkok, Phuket, and even took a cooking class in Chang Mai. Sadly, many restaurants in the Bay Area cater to more western palate and incorporate non-authentic ingredients (you won't find any broccoli in Pad Thai dish in Thailand). The Thai Noodle house on the other hand- they use fresh Thai ingredients and spices, and it reminds me of my trip in Thailand. Is it exact? Of course not- we don't have the exact ingredients but it's about as close as you can possibly get. Here's my go-to dishes when I come to this place: 1. Tom Tum soup with shrimp 2. Thai fried rice with a fried egg 3. Alternatively, Fried rice with fried chicken 4. Pak Kee Mao slicked chicken (mild to med spicy) 5. Duck in red curry sauce Aside from their awesome service, I love the fact that they also have a private parking lot with plenty of space. That and whenever I'm ready to grub, they are always open and have a table available (no wait, no need for reservations- just come and grub). Give this place a try- if you love Thai then you won't regret it. (Note: I was not asked or paid to write this review. I merely am just a regular diner who wanted to share my honest opinion and provide a counter perspective against all the negative ones... I am truly stumped how radically different their experiences were compared to our many times coming here)."

"It was an extraordinary experience at DTF Bellevue, perhaps because I've been a loyal customer at their original store in Taipei, Taiwan. It's evident that they worked hard to create an atmosphere that matches the trendy restaurants in town. DTF has been one of my favorite restaurants in Taipei, with consistent quality and excellent service in Taiwan. I’m confident they are striving to maintain, if not exceed, those standards at their overseas locations. I enjoyed the hot and sour soup, noodles with sesame sauce, and the chocolate mochi XLB tonight. I think I might even prefer the taste here over what’s offered at the Taipei location. The shrimp fried rice is good, but the rice itself might be a bit too moist, which makes it less than perfect. I would say that DTF serves the world’s best fried rice at their Taipei locations, i hope they can improve overtime here in North America. Perhaps their signature Xiao Long Bao needs the most improvement compared to what’s served at their Taipei location. The meat filling and the broth haven't blended together as they do back home, which is somewhat disappointing to me. Although Din Tai Fung offers Taiwanese Xiao Long Bao, which evolved from Shanghai cuisine, what Din Tai Fung seeks is not a strong flavor but a balance of taste, along with a healthier approach to cooking. Some Chinese people may not appreciate Taiwanese Xiao Long Bao because they are not used to resisting the temptation of strong flavors and greasy ingredients. If you enjoy food at this DTF location, I highly recommend you to go visit Taipei and try making a comparison between the food here and the food back their homeland. Vegetarian options: If you have a chance to visit Taipei’s store, the veggie steam dumplings is at different level. Having said that, it is still good here. Parking: Free parking, no need to validate, to register or to pay for parking. Kid-friendliness: Kids love chocolate Mochi XLB Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious enough for wheel chair access"

"My family and I have been coming for years but recently the experience left much to be desired. We arrived lunch time during full house which was exciting for us to see. We sat down only to be left alone for 12 minutes waiting for a waitress or waiter to come take our order. Even the table who came after us ended up ordering and then receiving their food before us.When we received our first dish the spring rolls, they looked tasty but was not filled with much of anything as we expected herbs and such. The wrapper was also tough seemingly left in the fridge. Our Pho came out and we were happy to see the quantity of food even though it was a small. The broth itself was much sweeter than what we normally experienced. The tendons were tough and borderline inedible. Everything else was fine. We did enjoy the texture of the noodles because in other Viet restaurants, the noodles are usually overcooked. The last dish that came out was the water spinach. The first few bites were fine but after the dish cooled, you could taste the sweetness in the sauce and we could barely eat half of it.Price wise, it was okay with each bowl of noodles costing only $12 before tax. Spring rolls only 4.50, but the veggies were $15! Remember to go up to the cashier to pay because they won’t come to your table. In addition to that, when we attempted to pay, we were almost overcharged by $30. Luckily I checked the machine before tapping my card. Also, be aware of the tipping. They have buttons and one is even set at 30%. If they had come over and asked how the food was or even bothered to offer water I would have considered.Truly disappointed from our most recent experience and hope they get it together because we have had some nice times at this location.Grade : B"
